During Tuesday night's first semi-final, the Ukrainian musician stood still, staring blankly ahead before slowly approaching the camera and peering into the lens.
The group have faced a wave of criticism over their entry, Teresa & Maria, which fans have called chaotic, unpolished, and out of touch with Ukraine's usual strong Eurovision form.
Others have criticised the styling and staging as confusing, with social media users saying the performance lacked cohesion.
Tonight's second semi-final will see 16 acts take to the stage at Eurovision, which is being held this year in Basel, Switzerland.

Swiss artist Zoë Më delivered a hauntingly beautiful performance of Voyage, featuring an artistic single-camera shot throughout.
The 24-year-old, seated as she sang, used armography to express emotion.
Eurovision tech issues during Switzerland's performance
However, as she reached the bridge, the camera swung around her side and seemed to drop away unexpectedly.
It quickly returned to her face as she stood for the dramatic climax, singing: 'Faire un, faire un voyage, Faire un, faire un voyage, Faire un, faire un voyage, Avec moi.'
The broadcast then showed several freeze frames before cutting to a front-facing shot that spun to reveal Zoë from behind, singing to the audience illuminated by phone lights.
The camerawork left many viewers confused, as the maneuver appeared unplanned. Instructions to the audience to 'Please turn on your phone light now' briefly appeared on the stage archway.
Commentator Rylan Clark addressed the glitch, saying: "Gorgeous song from Zoë - she's like a young Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. There were a couple of little tech problems with that one single-shot camera."
Despite Rylan's attempt to downplay the issue, Eurovision fans took to X, formerly Twitter, demanding 'justice' for Zoë.
One wrote: "Oh no Switzerland staging is really cool but they had some problems with the cameras," along with a crying emoji.
A second suggested: "JUSTICE FOR ZOE ME AND KALEEN ROBBED DIVAS WITH THE CAMERAS."
"The cameras breaking???", enquired a third user.
While someone else excitedly posted. "THE CAMERAS CRASHED."

Another joked: "Not the Swiss delegation's Head of Finance unplugging all the cameras at the end of Zoe's performance."
And a sixth fan added: "Oh no. It went a bit wrong with the cameras there."
Fortunately, the issue won't affect Zoë's chances, as Switzerland has already qualified for the final.
From Tuesday's semi-final, ten acts advanced to the final: Albania, Estonia, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway,
Five acts were eliminated: Azerbaijan,
The second Eurovision semi-final airs on BBC One this Thursday at 8pm.
Alongside the 16 competing acts, the UK's entry, Remember Monday, will perform their song What The Hell Just Happened.

Idris Elba unveils Mobo paving stone at college where he ‘got to dream bigger'
On Friday, Elba, 52, who hails from Hackney, and is most known for his acting roles in BBC drama Luther and US crime series The Wire, returned to Barking and Dagenham College, which he attended as a young person. His stone forms part of the Paving The Way award, issued by the Mobo organisation, which supports talent in music, film and TV and holds an annual awards ceremony celebrating excellence in black music and culture. The award celebrates cultural pioneers who have made a lasting impact in the arts, with Olympian Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and comedian Sir Lenny Henry among the recipients. The award winners are asked to choose a location for the stone that holds a deep personal meaning, with Elba choosing the college where he studied performing arts. The event, which included a Q&A with the students, took place inside the college's Idris Elba Studio — a professional film and TV facility named in his honour. Asked by a student if he had ever imagined how successful he would become, Elba said: 'I mean, yes, I think to be here in the first place, you're already imagining what the future can be. 'And so I was always thinking about what success might look like. 'I didn't know how to get there, but I could see it. I could see it on the silver screen. I could see it in my idols, Eddie Murphy, I saw it everywhere. 'But the truth is, what kept me grounded, what kept me focused (as a student) is being in a facility where I get to fall down, get up, fall down, as many times as I want, and I literally found this place, we all did, as a haven, a safe space to actually, not only imagine yourself being a movie star, but try it and fail, and try it, and fail. 'The thing about dreaming is that it happens on a 24-hour cycle. 'So every day I got to come back here, I got to dream bigger. I got to, definitely learn and sharpen how I was going to get there, and that's really important.' Elba unveiled the stone alongside Mobo Awards founder and chief executive Kanya King. It reads: 'Mobo. Paving the way for the next generation. Idris Elba. 'Don't get labelled, labels are for cans'.' Alongside his acting career the film and TV star performs as a DJ and has campaigned against knife crime.

Beckham and Winkleman honoured in King's Birthday Honours
Strictly co-host Tess Daly, and TV presenter Claudia Winkleman are among those who have been honoured in King Charles III's Birthday Honours. Former England captain Beckham said he is "immensely proud" to have been given a knighthood for services to sport and charity. In a statement to the PA news agency, the footballer, who turned 50 this week, said: "Growing up in East London with parents and grandparents who were so patriotic and proud to be British I never could have imagined I would receive such a truly humbling honour. "To have played for and captained my country was the greatest privilege of my career and literally a boyhood dream come true. "Off the pitch I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to represent Britain around the world and work with incredible organisations that are supporting communities in need and inspiring the next generation." Beckham married his wife Victoria in 1999 and the couple have four children - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. He is currently a part-owner of MLS side Inter Miami, and is also the co-founder of Studio 99, the production company behind the hit Netflix series Beckham. He was formerly appointed an officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2003. Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman has also been given a knighthood for services to drama. The London-born film star, 67, is known for his versatile acting style having portrayed a range of figures, from former prime minister Winston Churchill to Sex Pistols member Sid Vicious. Winkleman said she is "incredibly grateful" to have been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). The Traitors presenter was honoured on Friday alongside her Strictly Come Dancing co-host, Tess Daly, for services to broadcasting. Winkleman, 53, said: "I am incredibly grateful to receive this honour. "It's a real privilege to work with extraordinarily talented people and I have only got this because of them. So, this is for the BBC, the traitors and the faithful, for pianos and for the cha cha. "I will buy a hat and am taking my mum. I am ridiculously lucky and will celebrate with Tess by doing a paso doble." Born and raised in London, Winkleman studied history of art at Cambridge University and after graduating began her career as a TV and radio presenter, fronting a range of BBC TV shows including Comic Relief and The Great British Sewing Bee. Daly said she shed tears when she opened the letter telling her she was to be made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to broadcasting. She told the PA News Agency: "This genuinely came as the greatest surprise of my life. I don't think I've come back down to earth yet, I didn't see it coming, and it almost didn't happen, because the letter went to the wrong address. "And thank goodness, someone very kind found me. And so, by the time I got it, I only had, I think it was two or three days left to accept it. There's a deadline of acceptance. I can't imagine not ever wanting to accept such a wonderful award. But of course, I did. "But yes, it was cutting it fine, because it went to the wrong address first of all, but it ended well." She added: "I cried when I opened the letter, because I just I couldn't believe it. "I genuinely couldn't, and the first thing I wanted to do was tell my dad, because I lost my dad many years ago, and I know how proud my dad would have been, and I would love to have shared that news with him more than anything. "He would been incredibly proud in a very Northern, humble fashion. Because you're under strict instructions, of course, not to share the news before it's made public. But I must admit, I did tell immediate members of my family and swore them to secrecy." Daly, who has co-presented the BBC One's Strictly since 2004, first appeared on screens in 1999 when she hosted The Big Breakfast 's Find Me A Model competition on Channel 4. The Who frontman Roger Daltrey was also honoured, and said he is "very humbled" to be made a knight bachelor for services to charity and music. Daltry, 81, who launched and curated the Teenage Cancer Trust's Royal Albert Hall concerts from 2000 to 2025, told the PA news agency he would be celebrating with "a bottle of plonk". He told PA: "It's strange, it's an experience that I've never had before, I'm very humbled by it. "But equally, pride isn't something you wear on the outside, you can't say you're proud of that, I'm not proud, it's something that you wear in your heart, and this sits very well in my heart, because it's for the charity, it is for the music and the music I've had the joy of giving it out there – how lucky was I?" The singer first rose to fame with the 1960s mod rock band when their early Shel Talmy-produced singles I Can't Explain, Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere, and My Generation were hits. West End performer Elaine Paige was also honoured and said she is still in "complete disbelief" that she has been given a Damehood in the King's Birthday Honours for services to music and to charity.

Meghan and Harry brutally AXE host of key aides yet again after blaming them for string of PR humiliations
THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex have given their communications team the boot after blaming them for a series of PR humiliations. Harry and wife Meghan decided instead to go with the firm behind their controversial twerking video — sparking fears of a 'clickbait' approach which will horrify the Royal Family. 8 Harry and Meghan have given their communications team the boot after blaming them for a series of PR humiliations Credit: Getty 8 This year's embarrassments included January's take-down of Meghan in society bible Vanity Fair Credit: Vanity Fair 8 Harry scuppered any hope of a reconciliation with King Charles in an angry interview with the BBC Credit: BBC Last night a source told The Sun: 'Meghan and Harry always blame everyone else and never themselves.
