Is Rainbow Six Siege X free to play? Price, editions and access explained
Rainbow Six Siege X is officially out, and Ubisoft has now made it partly free to play. Instead of creating a sequel, the developers have completely revamped the original game. Players still get the core gameplay and classic operators, but everything feels more modern. The Dual Front mode brings a fresh 6 versus 6 experienc,e and several maps have been updated to fit the new direction. New visual upgrades, audio design, destructible objects and better movement mechanics round out the changes.
Ubisoft wants to support the game for the next 10 years. But to do that, they have made some parts of the game free while locking competitive features behind paid editions. If you want to try Siege X without spending money, you can. Just don't expect to access every mode unless you pay or already own the old game.

Many players have shared mixed reactions online, as some modes are locked behind a paywall. Ubisoft confirmed that anyone who owned the original Siege before June 10 already gets Premium Access with all past progress included.

On April 24, they filed a request to freeze about 100 million KRW (roughly $73,500 USD) worth of Kim's personal assets, including his bank accounts and loans, and the paperwork was approved on May 20, according to K-media outlet New Daily. The YouTube channel's host, Kim Se Ui, had accused the actor of being in an 'inappropriate relationship' with the late Bloodhounds star and released photographs, audio recordings, and more to back his claims, most of which were labelled as fabricated by Kim's agency, Gold Medalist. The case was referred to the 22nd Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court. Meanwhile, the earlier 850 million KRW claim was assigned to the 7th Civil Division of the Seoul Eastern District Court. So now, Kim's legal team will have to fight the same lawsuits in multiple courts. Meanwhile, one of its subsidiaries reportedly filed a 50 million KRW (about $36,600 USD) provisional seizure against Gold Medalist. This was also approved by the court on May 27. This was followed by an April 25 lawsuit from a cosmetic company that sued the actor, demanding 510 million KRW (roughly $367,000 USD), though the name of the company has not been disclosed yet. The move came just days after a medical aesthetics company seized one of his posh properties in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, freezing it for 3 billion KRW (around $2.21 million USD). Meanwhile, Kim's fans across the globe have accused these advertisers of riding the actor's success during his peak era and now abandoning him over a controversy that hasn't reached a conclusion yet, causing secondary harm. Box Office: Ballerina struggles in US-Canada despite favourable reviews; Eyes support from international markets with John Wick fanbase
Ana de Armas' Ballerina, a spin-off from the world of John Wick, is not doing too well at the domestic box office. The movie has grossed a little over USD 32 million (Rs 276 crore) in its first week in US-Canada and while it isn't too bad on face value, it is in actual, courtesy the massive USD 90 million budget. Adding to marketing spends of roughly USD 50 million, the actioner must atleast collect USD 200 million or so to breakeven theatrically. With stiff competition each week from here, Ballerina may, at best gross USD 70 million from the home turf. Now, the film heavily relies on the support it gets internationally. After week 1, the global gross stands at around USD 60 million. The good news is that a few new markets have had Ballerina release this weekend and that will ensure that the movie holds well. By the end of this weekend, the actioner may hit USD 90 million. The way the movie holds in the weeks to follow will help determine whether it will end its run in the USD 150 million range or it will leg to USD 200 million. Ballerina had to have opened better, given that it is from the world of John Wick, and it also has Keanu Reeves essaying his iconic character. A better start, clubbed with rave reviews would have surely made the movie in contention to hit USD 200 million. Nevertheless, Ballerina, being a part of a strong IP with a dedicated fan-following, should work well digitally and eventually help the studio recover its investments, even if it fails to manage to breakeven theatrically. A decision on more Ballerina films will be made based on how well it holds in the weeks to come. One thing that has been cleared with Ballerina, again, is that rave reviews alone are not enough.
