2025 3M Open Odds: Chris Gotterup, Sam Burns Tied Atop Board
This tournament is hosted in the Twin Cities and is one of the last two events of this year's regular season PGA Tour that will help decide the top 70 golfers eligible for the FedEXCup Playoffs.
When it comes to the odds, Chris Gotterup and Sam Burns are tied at the top of the board at +1800. However, Maverick McNealy isn't too far behind at +2000.

First on the board is Chris Gotterup at +1800. He comes into this tournament on the heels of a third-place finish at last weekend's Open in Northern Ireland. He has two PGA Tour wins so far — the Myrtle Beach Classic in 2024 and the Genesis Scottish Open in 2025.
Sam Burns is also at +1800 on the 3M oddsboard. Burns has five PGA Tour wins, with his best major finish being his T-9 in the 2024 U.S. Open. In the FedExCup standings, Burns is currently ranked No. 22.
Maverick McNealy rounds out the top three at +2000. He finished T-3 in this tournament in 2024.

It secured a fifth trophy of 2025 for the French club. Lee Kang-in scored in the 85th for PSG and fellow substitute Gonçalo Ramos grabbed an equalizer in the fourth minute of stoppage time to make it 2-2 in regulation. Nuno Mendes converted the clinching penalty in the shootout for PSG. The Super Cup is an annual early-season match between the most recent winners of the Champions League (PSG) and Europa League (Tottenham), and it was hardly going to script when the English club took a 2-0 lead early in the second half. Defenders popped up with Spurs' goals, with Micky van de Ven showing quick reactions to prod home the opener in the 39th minute after new PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier tipped Joao Palhinha's shot onto the crossbar. Chevalier — playing ahead of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who announced Tuesday he was leaving PSG — might have been unlucky with the first goal but was to blame for the second after failing to keep out a header from newly appointed Tottenham captain Cristian Romero in the 48th. ADVERTISEMENT Tottenham is further along in its preparations for the new campaign than PSG, whose players have only just returned to training after being involved in the Club World Cup until mid-July, and looked much sharper at Stadio Friuli. In the shootout, Vitinha missed PSG's first attempt, but the French team then converted four in a row. National Football League Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Reveals Cancer Diagnosis, Credits Experimental Drug Published Aug. 13, 2025 5:53 p.m. ET share facebook x reddit link Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones credited an experimental trial drug for successfully treating advanced melanoma as he disclosed his cancer diagnosis publicly for the first time. Jones revealed his illness in a documentary, "America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys," which will debut on Netflix next week. The 82-year-old Jones then told The Dallas Morning News how he was initially diagnosed in June 2010 and underwent two surgeries on his lung and two on his lymph nodes over the next 10 years after skin cancer cells metastasized to other parts of his body. "I was saved by a fabulous treatment and great doctors and a real miracle (drug) called PD-1 (therapy)," Jones said. "I went into trials for that PD-1, and it has been one of the great medicines. I now have no tumors." First-year Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer described Jones' fight with cancer as an "amazing story" and praised him for going public. "I'm glad that Jerry shared it, just because I think it gives people hope," Schottenheimer said Wednesday. "It gives people the strength to say, 'OK,' you know, 'Hey, you can beat this.'" ADVERTISEMENT Schottenheimer, 51, used his last news conference of the Cowboys' nearly monthlong stay in Southern California to talk about his own cancer diagnosis. He underwent surgery in 2003 for thyroid cancer at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Then-Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder helped arrange Schottenheimer's treatment two years after firing his father, Marty Schottenheimer, as head coach. Brian Schottenheimer was Washington's quarterbacks coach during the 2001 season, the same year Snyder himself was treated for thyroid cancer. "It doesn't discriminate against anybody," Schottenheimer said. "And mine was certainly less serious, but I was 28 when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Rickie Fowler Still Has Shot At Ryder Cup 'Conversation,' Hasn't Ruled It Out

While he's reached some key milestones—like a last-minute top-50 finish in the FedEx Cup standings—he's aware that other goals, such as making the Ryder Cup team, are likely out of reach. Yet, Fowler hasn't completely ruled himself out of the Ryder Cup "conversation." Although he knows his chances are very limited, he's made clear that a strong showing at the BMW Championship could put him in the free-picks spotlight. "I need to play some good golf this week to extend my potential to sneak into even (being) in the conversation." He is so far behind in the rankings that winning the BMW Championship would only put him around 15th place, which is far from a secure position for one of captain Keegan Bradley's free picks. Perhaps that's why Fowler is focusing on other goals. The six-time PGA Tour winner knows that his golf game hasn't been its best lately, so he's taking small steps in the right direction. "Going into years, there's always -- you want to go win, get in contention," he said. "For me, that was general. A lot of it was just making cuts, getting in contention, going and playing tournaments and stringing together and kind of trying to build on things. Looking farther would be, yeah, top 50 was a goal. It got a little closer than I would have liked to have been in a comfortable spot." A FedEx Cup top-50 finish is a tremendously important result. Not only does it allow him to play in the BMW Championship and guarantee his PGA Tour card for next season, but it also gives him a spot in the field at all of next year's Signature Events. This, in turn, allows him more leeway in his schedule, which translates into the possibility of more rest in the fall. "That secures a lot of things for me next year, so going back to the fall, I'm not sure what or how much I'll do," he said. "I would love to go play a bunch, but I need to work on the body side of it first to make sure I can go play a bunch next year." Fowler has played in 20 tournaments this season, with eight top-25 finishes, including two top-10s. His best finish of the year came just last week, finishing tied for sixth at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, the first tournament of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
