California man slugs NYPD sergeant who tried to guide him out of Times Square street in caught-on-video attack
A California man slugged a uniformed NYPD sergeant who tried to usher him out of a Times Square street in a caught-on-video attack early Tuesday — part of a troubling trend of attacks on uniformed officials in the Big Apple over the past few days.
Video posted to Instagram showed the moment the officer attempted to guide 21-year-old Aaron Cuauhtemoc Domsky by his arm out of the street at 7th Avenue and West 46th Street around 2:45 a.m.

A belligerent Domsky turned on the cop — dealing a single blow to his jaw and running off as the shell-shocked officer trailed him, the clip shows.
As Domsky tried to make his escape, he slapped a 19-year-old woman in the face and elbowed another woman, 35, in the back of the head — causing her to fall and hit her head on the ground, according to a criminal complaint.
Domsky, of Costa Mesa, was eventually arrested and charged with assault in the second and third degrees, according to court documents.

He was also ordered to undergo a psychiatric exam and is scheduled to reappear in court on Friday.
The Times Square attack comes on the heels of at least three other recent crimes dating back to Friday targeting cops and other uniformed officials.

The detective attempted to stop the heist when the group began attacking him, cops said. Those suspects remain at large.

Nearby cops approached the gun-toting madman who then ditched the weapon and fled on foot.
Christopher Neal, 56, was charged with menacing, disorderly conduct, and criminal possession of a weapon.
NYPD officers were able to recover the gun and arrested the alleged perpetrator, according to police sources.
These brazen assaults come in the wake of the brutal mugging of an off-duty NYPD officer who was still in uniform on Saturday in the Bronx.

Olympic Legend And Wife End Marriage But Their Announcements Are Very Different
Ryan Lochte, the swimmer who won six Olympic gold medals while earning 12 medals overall, and former Playboy Playmate Kayla Reid are ending their marriage. Their announcements arrived on Instagram on Wednesday, one after the other, but were noticeably different in tone. 'Earlier this year, I made the hard decision to end my marriage after deep prayer and reflection,' wrote Reid, who has three young children with Lochte. 'I've come to understand that staying isn't always the most loving decision someone can make,' she added. 'For me, leaving was an act of love ― for those around me and for myself.' Reid, 33, did not mention Lochte in the entire post. Lochte, 40, struck what appeared to be a more mutual stance in his message later: 'This past year has brought major changes for both of us as we've come to the difficult decision to end our marriage. I'm deeply grateful for the life we've built together and especially for the love we share for our three children.' He continued, 'Although this decision hasn't been easy I believe it's the right step toward peace and well-being for us both. I remain committed to healing, growth and co-parenting with care and respect as we move forward separately.' People reported that Reid had actually filed for divorce months earlier. The couple married in 2018, nearly two years after Lochte's impressive Olympics career spanning four Summer Games. He competed in the shadow of Michael Phelps but remains one of the most decorated Olympians in the history of swimming. He was also part of one of its biggest controversies when he initially claimed to have been robbed at gunpoint during the Rio Games in 2016, but officials said it was Lochte and others who had vandalized a gas station and were confronted by security guards.
