IRINI now offers a Mediterranean breakfast at its An Bang and Da Nang locations, featuring Greek-inspired dishes in a cozy outdoor setting.
'Greek breakfasts are about fresh ingredients, satisfying flavors, and a natural balance.' — Ms. Jade Tuong
AN BANG, VIETNAM, March 12, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- IRINI | GREEK RESTAURANT & CAFE has introduced a Mediterranean breakfast, giving guests a new way to start the day at both its An Bang and Da Nang locations. Known for its traditional Greek dishes, IRINI is bringing classic morning flavors from Greece to Vietnam.
The decision to expand into breakfast was driven by a commitment to fresh, simple ingredients and balanced meals. The menu features homemade Greek yogurt, freshly baked bread, ripe tomatoes, feta cheese, and farm-fresh eggs - ingredients that highlight the Mediterranean approach to food.
For IRINI, breakfast isn't just another meal - it's an opportunity to start the day with something wholesome and satisfying. The Mediterranean diet is known for its balance of nutrients, and this new menu reflects that philosophy. Guests can expect dishes that are light yet filling, rich in flavor but not overly indulgent.
'Greek breakfasts are about fresh ingredients, satisfying flavors, and a natural balance.' said IRINI's owner, Ms. Jade Tuong. 'We wanted to share that experience with our guests and offer something different from the usual breakfast options.'
A Breakfast Inspired by Greece
The new menu includes dishes rooted in Greek tradition, such as Mediterranean frittatas, tzatziki toast with sautéed vegetables and feta, hummus toast with skillet eggs, and croissant breakfast sandwiches. Lighter choices, including homemade yogurt bowls with nuts and honey, provide refreshing alternatives. Each dish is made with care, ensuring that every bite is full of authentic flavors.
Beyond the individual dishes, IRINI's approach to breakfast reflects the way meals are enjoyed in Greece - unhurried and meant to be savored. Whether guests choose a protein-packed frittata or a simple yogurt bowl, the emphasis is on quality ingredients and traditional flavors.
Interest in Mediterranean cuisine has been growing, especially as more people look for fresh, nutritious meals. IRINI's breakfast menu fits naturally into this trend, offering a flavorful start to the day without processed ingredients or heavy meals.
'We wanted to create something that feels good to eat - something that's flavorful but not overwhelming,' Tuong added. 'This menu is about starting the day with high-quality ingredients, simple preparation, and fresh flavors.'
A Relaxed Morning at IRINI
IRINI offers both air-conditioned dining and an open-air space, allowing guests to choose their preferred setting. The An Bang location is a short distance from the beach, while the Da Nang restaurant provides a central spot for a morning meal. With the addition of its Mediterranean breakfast, IRINI expands its offerings for those looking for a lighter, ingredient-focused start to the day.
With both locations serving the new breakfast menu, IRINI hopes to introduce more people to the simple pleasures of a Mediterranean morning.
The new Mediterranean breakfast is available daily at IRINI's An Bang and Da Nang locations.

This new Mediterranean restaurant just opened at a boutique hotel in Miami Beach
A new Mediterranean restaurant has opened at a boutique hotel in Miami Beach. The Balfour Hotel, formerly The Lord Balfour, is home to Cleo, now open in the South of Fifth neighborhood. Cleo is led by Executive Chef Camila Olarte who has worked in the kitchens at such restaurants as Los Fuegos by Francis Mallman, the Michelin-starred The Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller and Keller's three-starred spot The French Laundry in Napa Valley. A graduate of Gato Dumas, a top culinary school in Colombia, and Le Cordon Bleu in Lima, Peru, Olarte said her goal at Cleo is to 'celebrate the rich traditions of Eastern Mediterranean culture and a lively communal spirit.' 'Our approach is rooted in creating dishes that inspire conversation and connection, transporting guests to a summer-like escape,' she said. Cleo, which has indoor and outdoor dining, serves family-style dishes that highlight Greece, Morocco and the Levant region (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Israel). Expect pita bread and dips like moutabel, made with grilled eggplant, tahini and lemon juice and topped with pomegranate seeds and muhammara, with hot peppers, tomatoes, walnuts and pomegranate molasses. Mezze is key here, from spicy cigars (pastries filled with spiced lamb and labneh) to lamb kofte and wagyu beef skirt steak kebabs. You'll find seafood here, too, notably grilled branzino. Since it's in a hotel, Cleo also serves breakfast, with items like Nutella French toast, Turkish eggs and a Mediterranean breakfast with soft eggs that's served with flatbreads. Cleo also offers specialty cocktails, including the 3 Coasts Martini with French vodka, Italian aromatized wine and Spanish sherry and garnished with olives. The Que Syrah Syrah is a spicy twist on sangria with wild strawberry cordial, pink peppercorns and syrah, and the Basbousa Ramos is a new take on a gin fizz, with Amalfi lemon, saffron, almond and coconut. Happy hour runs daily with $10 signature cocktails, half price wines and $5 Mythos beer. Cleo Where: Balfour Hotel, 350 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach Hours: Breakfast 8:30-noon; lunch noon-3 p.m. daily; dinner 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 5-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday; happy hour 3-6 p.m. daily Reservations: OpenTable More information: or 305-913-6552

Popular New York Restaurant Chain Pita Gourmet Closing Original Location on June 30
A popular Mediterranean restaurant chain in Western New York will be closing its doors later this month. Pita Gourmet previously announced two new locations would be coming to the area, but first its original location will be coming to a close on June 30. The chain currently has locations in East Amherst, Amherst, Williamsville, Niagara Falls, Hamburg, and Orchard Park The chain got its start in 2005 after the family approached a food court vendor in the Niagara Falls Outlet Mall about using the family's pita bread. Initially, the vendor turned down the family's offer as the restaurant was closing permanently. "What seemed like bad timing was not at all. Our mom loved creating her own Mediterranean-American dishes, her family made pita bread, and now there was about to be a vacant restaurant. It was a trifecta. Why not take over the restaurant? She pitched her idea to her children—Farrah, Monique, Joseph, and Mark. We were on board. In 2005, Pita Gourmet was born," the chain said on its website. As the restaurant continues to expand in the area, it will be saying goodbye to that original location. "We're moving to 3030 Niagara Falls Blvd! As we say goodbye to our original location at the Fashion Outlets on June 30, we're excited to serve WNY from our new spot this summer! Stay tuned for more!" the chain said in a statement last month. The chain also plans to open a seventh location in Cheektowaga in the spring of New York Restaurant Chain Pita Gourmet Closing Original Location on June 30 first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 10, 2025
