Mass. teen arrested for allegedly speeding 120mph in New Hampshire
A Massachusetts teen has been arrested for allegedly speeding over 100 miles per hour on a New Hampshire highway.
Around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night, a New Hampshire State Police trooper noticed a driver speeding south down F.E. Everett Parkway in Nashua a department spokesperson said.
Using LiDAR technology, the trooper determined the 2020 Ford Edge was driving around 120 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to a NH SP spokesperson.
The trooper pulled over Derek Nazzaro, 19, of Tewksbury before arresting him and charging with reckless operation
During the traffic stop, police say Nazzaro also displayed a fake Massachusetts driver's license.
Nazzaro was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Nashua District Court at a later date.

Dorchester man arrested on firearm, drug charges following search warrant
A Dorchester man is facing firearm and drug charges after a search warrant was executed. According to Boston police, on Thursday, June 5, around 8:43 a.m., officers were conducting a drug investigation and executing of search warrants in the area of 223 Callender Street in Dorchester. During the search, officers recovered a Taurus 9MM with seven rounds in the magazine, a firearm holster, and. one loose round of ammunition. Police arrested 27-year-old Ronald Cox of Dorchester on multiple firearm and drug-related charges. Drug-related evidence that was recovered was one plastic bag of crack cocaine, six unknown pills, drug packaging material, digital scales, and $667 in U.S. currency. Cox is facing the following charges: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm Unlawful Possession of Ammunition Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance Possession with Intent to Distribute, Subsequent Offense Cox was taken into custody and he is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court. Man charged in deadly crash that killed Endicott police sergeant extradited to N.H.
The man accused in a deadly crash that killed an Endicott police sergeant was arrested and extradited to New Hampshire on Friday. According to New Hampshire State Police, officers obtained an extraditable arrest warrant in December and charged Keoma Duarte, 40 of New Bedford with two felony counts of reckless conduct and one misdemeanor count of disobeying an officer. Prosecutors say Keoma Duarte was so drunk the night before Thanksgiving that officers could smell the alcohol on him as they worked to free him from his crumpled Tesla on Interstate 95 near Newbury. Duarte's Tesla had slammed head-on into a car that Endicott College Police Sgt. Jeremy Cole was driving, killing the 49-year-old husband and father of four as he drove home from work. Duarte, 40, was arraigned on vehicular homicide and manslaughter charges from his hospital bed in December. He spoke only once, acknowledging he could hear the judge. On June 3rd, NH troopers traveled to Bristol County Jail and House of Correction in Massachusetts and took Duarte into custody. Duarte was then transported back to New Hampshire, where he was held at the Rockingham County Department of Corrections ahead of arraignment on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Hampton District Court. Jeremy Cole was a police sergeant at Endicott College. News of his death shook the close-knit community of students and staff. The crash remains under investigation. This is a developing story. Mass. man arrested following deadly crash in November
HAMPTON, N.H. (WWLP) – A New Bedford man has been arrested in connection with driving in the wrong direction on I-95 in New Hampshire and causing a deadly crash in Massachusetts. New Hampshire State Police shared in a news release that 40-year-old Keoma Duarte of New Bedford, Mass. was arrested last Wednesday following an ongoing investigation into reckless driving and a deadly crash in November of 2024. Sidewalks to close Monday for repairs in Pittsfield On November 27, New Hampshire state troopers observed a Tesla driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-95 in Hampton. Troopers coordinated with members of the Massachusetts State Police as the suspect continued driving into Mass. It was later discovered that Duarte was involved in a two-vehicle crash. The crash resulted in the death of 49-year-old Jeremy Cole of Exeter, New Hampshire. Duarte was also injured during the accident and was brought to a Boston hospital to be treated for serious injuries. New Hampshire troopers investigating the incident determined that Duarte had initially been driving northbound on I-95 before pulling into the NH Liquor & Wine Outlet parking lot. The outlet was closed at the time, and Duarte was seen through surveillance leaving the lot and entering the road in the wrong direction. On May 28, Massachusetts State Police notified New Hampshire troopers that Duarte had been arrested due to his outstanding arrest warrant. On Tuesday, Duarte was brought to New Hampshire and held at the Rockingham County Department of Corrections. Duarte was charged with two felony counts of reckless conduct and one misdemeanor count of disobeying an officer. He was arraigned in Hampton District Court on Wednesday.
