Kryklia makes short work of Knowles at ONE Fight Night 30, waiting for ‘good opponents'
Already the holder of ONE Championship heavyweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles, Roman Kryklia rode a 14-fight winning streak into Bangkok, and added another victim to his list, flattening Britain's Lyndon Knowles in the first round of their clash at ONE Fight Night 30 on Saturday.

The Ukrainian's fifth consecutive knockout in the Muay Thai title bout came after an opening knockdown with a clean left hook.
While Knowles beat the count, Kryklia sealed the deal with a clean right cross that left the Englishman flat on the canvas. It was another savage finish, and came with a US$50,000 performance bonus.
Despite the frightening display of power, the double champ insisted he was only a threat inside the ring. Outside, he remains humble and composed.
'I want to say that I'm very dangerous only in the ring … but here outside, everything's good!' Kryklia told the Post.

'Me and my friend, former ONE featherweight kickboxing champion Chingiz Allazov, we prepared many combinations, many difficult sides to analyse my opponent … but in reality, it was much easier. I threw my right arm – and everything else.'

ONE Championship: Haggerty blasts ‘delusional' Ghazali, denies ducking fight with teen
Freddie Haggerty has denied turning down a fight with Johan Ghazali, in a fiery response to the teenage striking sensation's claims 'he didn't want it'. Advertisement The Briton hit back at comments Ghazali made in an interview with the Post, saying there were 'delusional and that's the truth' and if he was offered a fight with the 18-year-old by ONE Championship he would 'say yes like there was no tomorrow'. And Haggerty, the younger brother of ONE Bantamweight kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty, was quick to shut down any narrative he was avoiding the fight. 'I don't fear no one that bleeds the same as I do and that's the God's honest truth,' the 20-year-old said. 'Once we're in there [the ring], it's just a fair battle. It's who's trained harder, who's prepared better, who's ready to die for it.' The younger Haggerty said he would be willing to face the Malaysian at multiple Muay Thai weight classes having 'watched his [Ghazali] past couple of performances', and questioned whether the was really as confident as he made out.

ONE Championship: Legendary Superlek out to prove people wrong after ONE 172 horror show
The word 'legend' is thrown around too easily these days, but it fits Superlek Kiatmoo9 like a glove. The ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion has long been regarded as one of the finest strikers on the planet: calm and humble outside the ring, ruthless and precise inside it – the 'Kicking Machine' had built an aura few could touch. That was until ONE 172 in Japan earlier this year. Heading into fight week, Superlek held two world titles and was riding a 13-fight winning streak. But things started to unravel in unexpected fashion. The Thai superstar failed the pre-fight weigh-in and hydration tests, losing his flyweight Muay Thai belt on the scale. Days later, he suffered a shocking unanimous decision defeat to 20-year-old French-Algerian Nabil Anane, who also became the first man to score a knockdown against Superlek. Play Reflecting on that moment, the 29-year-old told the Post the entire experience was frustrating.
