Former F.ABLE member Shim Jaehyun passes away at 23 after long battle with leukaemia
According to reports, the star breathed his last after a long battle with leukaemia. The reports were confirmed by the idol's acquaintances, friends and family members online.
The star's illness had not been made public until recently.
Jaehyun had been undergoing treatment at the time of his passing.
Who was Shim Jaehyun?
Jaehyun was the youngest member of the K-pop group F.ABLE, which debuted in 2020. The 23-year-old was known to be a powerhouse vocalist after his debut and managed to garner a lot of attention from the public for his skills.
The K-pop group remained active in the Korean music industry up until 2023, when suddenly the group stopped posting and sharing new content.
Later, three out of the 5 members even debuted in a new subunit, leading many fans to finally understand that the group had possibly disbanded already.
Throughout their career, F.ABLE released a number of digital singles, such as 'Run Run Run' and 'Baby Don't Cry'.
