Boxing-Usyk winds up Dubois in Wembley weigh-in ahead of heavyweight fight
Usyk tipped the scales at 16st 3lb, while Dubois came in at 17st 6lb.
After a tense face-off, Usyk stepped to the front of the stage and blocked his 27-year-old rival from everyone's view. He flexed his muscles while soaking up applause from the cheering crowd.
IBF champion Dubois, aiming to become Britain's first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999, eventually moved forward.
"I'm locked in, focused and I can't wait. I'm going to win by any means necessary," he said to cheers from his fans.
But Usyk cut short Dubois's speech by moving to the front of the stage again with raised arms, leaving the frustrated Briton to walk off while shaking his head.
"It's a great opportunity for my people and my country. See you tomorrow," said 38-year-old Usyk, who holds the WBA (Super), WBC and WBO belts.
The undefeated Ukrainian claimed a ninth-round win over Dubois, who has 22 wins in 24 fights as a professional, when they met in August 2023.

FILE PHOTO: Tennis - Wimbledon - All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, London, Britain - July 1, 2025 China's Qinwen Zheng in action during her first round match against Czech Republic's Katerina Siniakova REUTERS/Isabel Infantes/File Photo (Reuters) -Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen has withdrawn from the U.S. Open as she recovers from right elbow surgery, tournament organisers announced Monday. The world number six revealed last week on Instagram that she has been struggling with "persistent pain" in her right elbow, which affected her performance during both training and matches. After exploring various treatments with little success, Zheng decided to undergo arthroscopic surgery following consultations with elbow specialists and her support team. She has since announced she will be taking a short break from competition to focus on her recovery. The 22-year-old Chinese star enjoyed a remarkable run last year, capturing gold at the Paris Olympics and reaching the final of the 2024 Australian Open. However, her momentum was halted at Wimbledon this year, where she was eliminated in the first round by Czech player Katerina Siniakova earlier in July. With Zheng's withdrawal, France's Leolia Jeanjean will move into the main draw of the U.S. Open, the final Grand Slam of the season, which begins with main draw action on August 24 in New York. Soccer-Manchester United sign forward Mbeumo from Brentford
FILE PHOTO: Soccer Football - Premier League - Brentford v Brighton & Hove Albion - GTech Community Stadium, London, Britain - April 19, 2025 Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo celebrates scoring their second goal Action Images via Reuters/Peter Cziborra/File Photo , 2025 (Reuters) -Manchester United have signed forward Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford until 2030, with the option to extend for a further year, United said on Monday. United paid 65 million pounds ($88 million) to Brentford, with another 6 million potentially due in add-ons, for the 25-year-old Cameroon international, according to a club source. Mbeumo hit new heights in the 2024–25 league season, finishing with 20 goals to help Brentford to a solid 10th-place finish. Only Mohamed Salah (29), Alexander Isak (23) and Erling Haaland (22) scored more. "As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I had to take the opportunity to sign for the club of my dreams, the team whose shirt I wore growing up," he said. "My mentality is to always be better than I was yesterday, I know that I have the spirit of character to reach another level here, learning from (manager) Ruben Amorim and playing alongside world-class players." The versatile Mbeumo thrived on the right wing and also impressed as a centre forward, proving indispensable for Brentford by starting every league game last season. He joined the London club from Ligue 2 side Troyes in 2019 and made 242 appearances, scoring 70 goals and providing 51 assists. "Bryan's goals and assists record in the Premier League is exceptional, his remarkable consistency has put him amongst the most productive players in England for the last three seasons," said United's director of football Jason Wilcox. "We are delighted to have secured another one of our primary targets ahead of the pre-season tour. The experience in the U.S. will be the perfect opportunity for Bryan to work with Ruben and his new teammates as we prepare for an exciting season ahead." United are playing three pre-season matches in the U.S., on July 26 v West Ham United in New Jersey, July 30 v Bournemouth in Chicago and August 3 v Everton in Atlanta. Motorcycling-MotoGP's Argentina Grand Prix to return in 2027 near Buenos Aires
(Reuters) -The Argentina Grand Prix, which will not be a part of the MotoGP calendar next year, will return in 2027 at a different venue near the capital Buenos Aires. MotoGP said on its website that the Autodromo Oscar y Juan Galvez, which staged several Formula One and motorcycle Grand Prix races until the 1990s, will be renovated to host the event, which has been held at Termas de Rio Hondo, over 1100 kilometres from the capital, since 2014. 'Starting in October, we will undertake a comprehensive renovation of the circuit, which includes work on the track, pits, paddock and safety zones, incorporating the latest technology," said Jorge Macri, chief of government of Buenos Aires. "Bringing MotoGP to the city means the arrival of an elite competition, with the most important international teams and riders, which will be enjoyed by around 150,000 people at the track." The 2025 edition of the race was held in March, with Marc Marquez winning the Grand Prix. (Reporting by Chiranjit Ojha in BengaluruEditing by Toby Davis)
