Report Milan plan for Kean rebuffed by Fiorentina

Yahoo4 hours ago

There are mixed reports in Italy over how Milan could get in on the action for Moise Kean, as Fiorentina do not seem ready to accept player exchanges.
The striker has a €52m release clause in his contract, so all the Viola can do is wait and hope nobody comes in to activate it that can also agree personal terms.

It is entirely up to the 25-year-old, who made a huge impact in Florence this season with 19 Serie A goals in 32 games, stretching to 25 goals in 44 competitive appearances.

While Manchester United and the Saudi Pro League sides have been linked, now Sport Mediaset claim that Milan are eager to go for the Italy international too.
He already worked with new coach Max Allegri at Juventus and would be eager for a reunion.
However, they suggest Milan will not pay the full €52m clause and would instead try to negotiate a transfer with Fiorentina, including Filippo Terracciano as part exchange.
Calciomercato.com insist that is not something the Viola would accept, as they remain eager to keep hold of Kean and would only let him go if forced into a corner.

The last time we saw Inter Milan, it was walking off the pitch at the Allianz Arena in Munich after an embarrassing 5-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Final. It marked the second time in three years that this veteran-laden roster was on the losing side of the most important match of the European Soccer season. A little more than two weeks later, Inter heads to the Rose Bowl for its opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup against Monterrey. Inter is a -220 favorite to win Tuesday's match. Inter vs. Monterrey betting preview There's a massive talent gap between Inter Milan and Monterrey. Inter finished one point behind first-place Napoli in Serie A, was runner-up in the Champions League and made it to the semi-finals in the Coppa Italia. La Beneamata finished their domestic campaign with the fifth-best goal difference in Europe's Big 5 Leagues, and they were eighth in expected goal differential. By all accounts, Inter was one of the 10 best clubs in the world this past season. In a vacuum, you'd say this all points to a straightforward win for Inter on Tuesday against Monterrey, one of the top clubs in Liga MX. Monterrey doesn't have the depth that Inter boasts, but there are plenty of familiar names on this roster, most notably former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, former Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos, longtime Mexican internationals Hector Moreno and Jesus Corona and former Real Betis midfielder Sergio Canales. Inter's Federico Dimarco during the Champions League Final. AP Inter vs. Monterrey pick We've seen some terrific performances from the heavyweights in this competition out of the gates, but it's still fair to be skeptical of where Inter's level will be after a grueling European campaign was capped off in a demoralizing loss in Munich. Inter is a team that really leans into the physical side of the game, but if its not fully up for this tournament – or are just fatigued – it loses that edge. Monterrey could get played off the park in this one, but we'll take a shot at a big price and hope that Inter isn't firing Tuesday night in Los Angeles. Napoli make contact for Fiorentina's Rolando Mandragora

Serie A champions Napoli continue to look to bolster their side and have come forward for Fiorentina's Rolando Mandragora. FirenzeViola have reported that the Partenopei have made contact with the midfielder's entourage and it has been described as an interlocutory meeting to know more about the player's current situation att Fiorentina. Advertisement This is the first sign of interest from Antonio Conte's side, who wanted to understand the player's current salary and contract situation. Mandragora is waiting for signals from Fiorentina, who remain his priority. No renewal has been discussed because his current deal expires next summer and there is an option to renew if he makes a certain amount of appearances next season. Everything now depends on how Fiorentina react to Napoli's interest. Kaustubh Pandey I GIFN

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Cristian Chivu's men are lining up a formal bid for the 21-year-old striker. Advertisement Despite failing to sign the Frenchman before departing for the United States, Inter are keen to complete the transfer now. (Photo by) Parma's €25 million price tag has failed to deter the Nerazzurri from pursuing the youngster's signature. Instead, Inter will soon table a €23m bid, plus add-ons. Therefore, the agreement looks close as Ange-Yoan Bonny edges closer to reuniting with his former manager at the San Siro. Valued at €45m by the Red Devils, the Denmark international can only join the Italian giants on loan with an option to buy.
