The body of a cyclist who was killed when he landed on his head after his bike came off a high kerb was ignored by several passing motorists as he lay in the road.
The victim was cycling home from work when he tried to jump down and seemed to misjudge the height as his front wheel hit the road. The bicycle ended up practically vertical, throwing the man from it. In horror scenes captured on CCTV too graphic to show, he lands directly on top of his head and finally crumples to the ground. Horrifically, the footage showed several cars driving past him as he lay ignored on the road.

One car seemed to veer around him after the horror accident in Três Corações, north-east of São Paulo, Brazil, last Sunday.
According to reports, a passing paramedic eventually pulled over to attend to the injured cyclist. They said the young man had cracked his skull and was haemorrhaging blood.
The victim was taken to the nearby São Sebastião Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He was heading to his home in the Flora neighbourhood when he suffered the fatal accident.

Earlier this year it was reported a cyclist was on the brink of death after crashing into a cattle trailer. Jon Hill, a 62-year-old project manager from Macclesfield, was on his "favourite route" when the accident happened in August 2022.

Luckily, passing motorists spotted him and called 999 - since then, he has become friends with the strangers who rescued him and even celebrated the one-year anniversary of the accident with them. When Jon arrived at the hospital, doctors found he had broken his collarbones and ribs, and punctured his kidney.

Looking back, Jon only has fleeting memories of seeing people at his bedside and can barely remember the crash itself. With the help of physiotherapy, Jon slowly began to recover.
The near-death experience made him reassess his life, leading him to work part-time and volunteer at the North West Air Ambulance Charity to give something back.
Jon said: "I was pretty poorly. I had various fractures and a broken collarbone and broken ribs. My broken ribs punctured my kidney so when I was in hospital, they did a procedure called embolisation so they actually cut off the blood supply to the kidneys.

"So the kidney is still there, but I'm told it would just shrivel up and do nothing. I think that together with the lacerated liver was the reason why I had the problem that I had at the scene, which if without the intervention from doctors I probably wouldn't have made it I don't think I was very far from death."

Caught on Camera: Bizarre act by Australia Post driver sparks outrage and confusion: 'It's just baffling'

A 'dodgy' delivery driver has sparked outraged after a customer shared CCTV footage to social media. The video, posted to Reddit, shows an Australia Post van and driver pull up to the property, sit in his car, walk thorough the gate, take one photo and then leave. Australia Post delivery drivers are required to knock three times and wait 30 seconds, before leaving the property when delivering mail. In this case, the driver did not even bother to knock. The person who shared the clip said they had complained to Australia Post, but was not satisfied with their response. 'The delivery centre has confirmed that the driver has been spoken to and reminded of the correct delivery procedures,' Australia Post is claimed to have said to the man. 'Greater care will be taken moving forward to prevent this from happening again.' It is not clear where the incident happened, but is understood to have been in NSW. The clip has sparked fury amongst other social media users. 'Brother spent a whole minute doing bugger all. I might have understood if he zipped in and took a photo then went on his merry way, but he just sat there,' wrote one person. Another person also slammed Australia Post's response to the bizarre situation. 'Reminded of the correct delivery procedures? So what was the driver's understanding of the job prior to this interaction?' they said. 'It's just baffling. It probably would have taken less time to get out of the car, get the parcel and walk it up to the door than it took to just sit there doing f*** all.' A third said: 'They don't deliver to the house. So, quite a departure from their core business which they seemingly and quite conveniently have forgotten.' The poster also revealed he may not have been the first person to complain about the the driver's behaviour. 'Judging by the number of complaints against this guy that people in local Facebook group have, if it hasn't happened already, he ain't ever getting fired.' they wrote.

‘My blood ran cold': Mum's horror at seeing CCTV of perv burglar leering at her as she slept during terrifying break-in

A MUM has been left "scared, shaking and in shock" after she was leered at by a perverted burglar as she slept naked. Sickening CCTV footage shared by the unsuspecting victim shows a masked thief flashing at torch at her as he ogles at her body. 5 5 The mum-of-one says she had no idea a man had broken in to her home in the Costa Del Sol until she watched back the terrifying video. The intruder was inside for 32 minutes and entered the bedroom where the woman and her partner were sleeping eight times. At one point, he flashes his torch over the pair who were in bed before focusing in on the woman. The traumatised mum was sleeping naked on her front with the majority of her body uncovered by the duvet due to the Spanish heat. A blood-curdling moment saw the sordid burglar bend over and move closer to the victim to shine the torch on her body further. Speaking to the MailOnline the woman said: "I looked at the camera and my blood ran cold. "The guy came into the room eight times. He was looking in between my legs, at my intimate parts, looking at my face. "He forgot all about the burglary. He was more interested in looking at me." The burglar eventually fled the Marbella home undetected as he swiped a purse with 300 euros inside. The rest of their valuables and expensive goods were all exactly where they left them - including in the couple's 18-year-old son's room next door. Moment hero cop saves girl, 11, from 'paedo trying to force her into flat…with perv now facing chemical castration' This has led the victim to fear that the man wasn't simply looking to burgle the home but had much more sinister plans. She said: "That man didn't come to my house to steal, he came to do something to me. "I was alone the night before. What if he'd come then?" The mum says she now faces recurring nightmares when trying to sleep with one of her major fears stemming from what may have happened if she had woke up. She woke up shortly after the thief fled to go to the toilet but believes if she crossed paths she would have screamed. "The intruder might have been carrying a knife or a pistol," she feared. The woman has now been forced to undergo psychological treatment to process the trauma. "I am still traumatised by this. Before I go to the toilet at night, I look at the cameras," she revealed. "If my boyfriend leaves the bed at night, I jump. I am now seeing a psychologist." The brave victim released the video shortly after taking it to the police as she said it was the only way to get justice and catch the "sick predator". Local police are investigating the case and analysing the footage but are yet to identify the suspect. They believe he likely entered the house through a terrace door. Marbella is already on high alert for burglaries with residents warned to bolster up their security systems as cops hunt for a thief in the area. Chilling footage shows a man in a mask and grey hoodie breaking and entering into a series of villas between San Pedro de Alcantara in Marbella and Benahavis. Dubbed the San Pedro Prowler, the man is regarded as an expert lock picker. Among the recent stolen items include 10,000 euros in cash and a 30,000 euro watch. 5 5
