Self-inflating airbed that's 'far more comfortable' than rivals gets 30% Amazon cut

Self-inflating airbed that's 'far more comfortable' than rivals gets 30% Amazon cut

Daily Record2 days ago
"It's far more comfortable than your standard airbed and compact enough when deflated to slot in to most storage spaces."
Blow-up beds are often more hassle than they're worth- we've all woken up to the cold hard ground beneath us when camping or staying at a friend's due to a completely deflated mattress. And punctures are all too common in most blow-up beds, even if they've been recently purchased.
But one anti-puncture airbed promises a hotel-rated sleep no matter where you are. Usually retailing at a steep £80.99, the iDOO Single Airbed is currently on a 30 per cent discount on Amazon, down from £80.99 to £56.99.
Complete with an electric built-in pump, the full-size single bed promises to self-inflate and deflate in just three minutes at the push of a button. The camping bed also comes in a range of other sizes and colours, including a double/king size bed for just £64.99.
The discounted bed is made from skin-friendly, multi-layer, puncture-resistant PVC to prevent air leakage and instability, guaranteeing the user that they won't wake up to the hard floor on their back after suffering a puncture.
With 21 internal air coils to enhance durability and support, the bed is designed to stay flat and firm, and the mattress will not tilt or flip if the user sits on its edge or corner.
iDOO Single Air Bed
Product Description
With inflated dimensions of 190 x 100 x 46cm and a weight capacity of 250kg, this mattress is large enough to sleep one person in luxury.
Its anti-slip bottom also keeps the mattress stable and silent, protecting quality of sleep. Lightweight for portability and storage, the bed can be easily packed away into the travel bag for holidays or camping trips.
Those browsing alternative camping beds may consider the Intex Queensize Inflatable Camping Airbed on Argos, which is currently on sale for £68 down from £85. This option may be more suited to those who are after a larger airbed.
Shoppers on a stricter budget may opt for the Bestway Airbed Flocked Double Air mattress for just £16 on sale, also on Argos.
But customers adore the discounted Amazon airbed, which has scored an impressive 4.1 star rating out of a possible five.
One happy customer said: "This airbed is weirdly satisfying to inflate with the built in pump, makes life so much easier. It's far more comfortable than your standard airbed and compact enough when deflated to slot into most storage spaces.
"Deflating is just as easy, gone are the days of rolling it up manually, the deflation mechanism works perfectly."
Yet a less happy shopper wrote: "When first received, I fully inflated it and left it up for a couple of days without issues or loss of pressure.
"A couple of months later, it was the second time getting it out and first time actually sleeping on it and it's steadily deflating. I took extra care to make sure it was packed away carefully and no opportunity to scratch/puncture it, but doesn't look like it's holding air well at all."
However, a different five-star reviewer wrote: "These are excellent - really easy to inflate takes a few minutes. Stay inflated for days before needing a little top up. Are a great size (bought 2 and put them together makes a great size bed).
"Good height off the floor and really comfortable. Going to be perfect as additional guest beds. Very well priced for the quality. Easy to store."
The iDOO Single Airbed can be purchased on Amazon HERE.

Woman avoids 'holiday packing stress' with Shein trick that 'makes so much room'

One TikTok user claimed 'this will be a game changer' If you're getting ready to jet off on holiday with a whole new wardrobe, a TikTok user suggests keeping the packaging from any Shein orders that arrive for a handy reason. Laura, known as @ on TikTok, shared her smart packing trick last summer. And it seems many Shein customers are planning to follow suit for their holidays this year. ‌ Rather than folding clothes and struggling to accommodate every potential outfit, Laura offered a "genius" solution that allowed her to fit an entire wardrobe into her suitcase with ease. Each outfit was neatly stowed away in a zip-up Shein package bag, granting her 'heaps of extra suitcase space '. ‌ In the clip, she said: "You can shove [the packages] in and just push all the air out. It makes so much room." In the caption, she explained: The best packing hack!!!!! I feel like an organised queen!!!!" ‌ She continued: "This is a game changer and squishes your clothes together so you can fit more in." During the video, she showed off how she'd sorted her clothes into categories, including pyjamas, shorts, dresses, and tops. In one pouch, she managed to stuff 12 swimwear sets. After packing 11 Shein parcels worth of clothing in her case, Laura still had room to fit toiletries and other essentials for her trip. Many people in the comments were impressed by her 'holiday packing hack'. ‌ One said: "What a good idea!" Another added: "I always do this. Shein bags are great. I used to buy A4 zip folders before Shein came along!" A third wrote: "I've just dug out all my SHEIN bags for my holiday. This will be a game changer!" Someone else suggested: "Could you not just use packing cubes? It's basically the same thing." Some leapt to Laura's defence, adding: "The air holes make them easy to flatten on top of each other. No way you'd get that with packing cubes!" A fifth asked: "Do they not get really creased?" Laura responded: "No because they are rolled up just like they would be in my case - if anything it's better because it keeps them together." Someone else offered a great use for your bags once you arrive on holiday too. They said: "SHEIN bags are also fab for keeping stuff dry in your beach bag/ pool bag! Love them!" Someone else replied: "Wow! I need to stop throwing mine away." They added: "Who knew they could be so useful!" Most Shein orders come inside one of these bags, so it's worth stocking up to get your money's worth. Alternatively, you could buy similar ziplock bags yourself from places like Amazon if you don't shop from Shein.

'Excellent' Ryanair and easyJet underseat bag with 'plenty of compartments' now £20

This cabin bag seamlessly slides under Ryanair and easyJet chairs. With many people jetting off on their summer holidays, it is essential that travellers make sure they have the right sized underseat luggage. Nobody wants to turn up ready to board the aeroplane only to be faced with an extra charge. Unfortunately it isn't as easy as picking up a random bag since every airline has different requirements. Thankfully for frequent Ryanair fliers, earlier this month the airline announced that it will be increasing the size of their handheld luggage restrictions. While the old requirements used to be 40x25x20cm, shoppers will be able to buy a slightly bigger bag with a maximum size of 40x30x20cm. For those who want to stay on the safe side and match the old measurements, Amazon is currently selling the Lossga Cabin Bag in black for £20.98. Other colours are also available but the prices are slightly higher, ranging between £24.99 and £26.99. Due to the size of the Lossga Cabin Bag, it can also be taken on board for free on a variety of major airlines, including easyJet and TUI, reports Chronicle Live. Unfortunately Jet2 and British Airways fliers would need to pay to bring this bag onto their flight as their current underseat dimensions are 40x30x15cm. Designed with multiple compartments and pockets to easily organise all of your travel essentials, this cabin bag also includes a wet pocket for toiletries and towels, as well as easy access water bottle holders. And for those wanting to make sure their passport can be grabbed at a moment's notice, there is a front zip pocket. Lossga Cabin Bags £20.98 Amazon Buy Now Product Description For comfort while walking around the airport, the bag also features padded back panels and shoulder straps. Crafted with an ergonomic design, this bag should evenly distribute the weight of the contents inside to reduce any strain on your shoulder and back. Another popular Ryanair travel bag on Amazon is the Xkdoai Cabin Bag. Normally retailing for £30.99, shoppers can grab the green edition for £21.99 in the sale. Other colours are also available, with prices ranging from £22.99 to £25.99. Alternatively, Aerolite had reduced the price for their Ryanair Cabin Bag down from £69.99 down to £22.99. Made from recycled plastic bottles, this bag comes with a detachable carry bag, high quality zippers and a strap to mount it onto larger luggage for easier travel. The Lossga Cabin Bag is widely popular with Amazon shoppers as it currently boasts a 4.6 star rating. Many reviewers praised the bag for its plentiful storage, as well as how comfortable it was to wear. One shopper said: "I bought this travel backpack specifically for flying with Ryanair, and it fits their 40x20x25 cm size limit perfectly – no issues at all getting it under the seat. The storage layout is really smart, with plenty of compartments to keep everything organized, including a handy wet pocket for toiletries and a secure hidden pocket for valuables." With another five-star reviewer adding: "Great bags for cabin luggage for holidays. Bought one each for my lads to carry their clothes for a 4 night trip abroad. They have chosen a rucksack each instead of a cabin suitcase . Really good size. Very well made. Lots of compartments. The laptop section and straps are really well padded for carrying. Good price too. I'm pleased" However, a few shoppers had a couple of complaints. One person wrote: "Zip broke on the first use, seller then got in contact after I left a review and sent a new bag out." While another grumbled: "Only complaint, shoulder strap has no length adjuster." Despite this, a top reviewer said: "Excellent quality, loads of pockets, loads of space inside. The main compartment zips open on three sides so you can pack it properly, like a suitcase, rather than having to rummage into it. It's also comfy to wear, and the drinks bottle pockets work well. I've used it far more than I expected in the last 6 weeks." With a sixth customer adding: "I recently used this for 5 nights away in Spain. It was amazing. So many compartments, well made, saved me a tonne of money on my Ryan Air flight. I packed more than enough in there for my holiday, including my iPad, all of my toiletries, outfits, my phone, a bottle. I genuinely couldn't believe how much I could fit in there." Lego's ultimate portable toy for school summer holidays drops to £2 with deal

The cute suitcase contains 213 pieces offering endless building possibilities The school summer holidays are nearly here, with thrilling days out and trips away right around the corner. Families heading off on exciting adventures will want to make sure their little ones are kept entertained while away from home, and thankfully, Lego has the answer. The Creative Suitcase, comprising 213 pieces, is the ultimate portable toy that children can take on long journeys and holidays. The cute plastic suitcase has multiple compartments containing a variety of different coloured bricks, wheels, shapes and more in varying sizes for kids to build their own creations. This includes vehicles, animals and buildings, with the endless possibilities encouraging children to discover their own creative building skills. The suitcase usually costs £17.99, however, a handy TopCashback deal allows shoppers to snap it up for as little as £2.20. New members who sign up to the money-saving site for free will get a £15 cashback bonus that they can use at Lego, bringing the cost of the Creative Suitcase down to only £2.20. Existing TopCashback members can also save a few pennies, reducing the price to £17.20. Of course, the Creative Suitcase isn't just for children, with Lego stating it's designed for 'ages four to 99'. It would make the perfect starter set for anybody entering the world of Lego, and is also a great way to add pieces to one's ever-growing collection. For shoppers wanting to browse more building sets for children to enjoy over the school holidays, Amazon is selling a similar Classic Building Bricks Set for Kids for £12.34. It comprises 1,200 pieces in different colours and sizes, and is suitable for ages six and above. Alternatively, Argos has the Chad Valley PlaySmart Wooden Block Set priced at £10 that's suitable for kids 12 months and over. This contains 80 pieces and is designed to improve children's knowledge of shapes, colours and sizes. The Creative Suitcase boasts an impressive 4.5 star-rating on the Lego website. One delighted buyer commented: "Great for budding builders. I bought this set for my son who turned four this year. This was his first Lego set and he really enjoyed building basic builds with it. It enhances the creativity of a young builder, great value for the money. I'm happy with the purchase." Someone else shared: "I bought this as a present for my nephew and he was playing with all the Lego pieces for hours. It was great to see him building different things and never getting bored. The instructions are easy to read and it's fun for the whole family. I highly recommend this." Sadly one Lego customer wasn't completely satisfied with the Creative Suitcase, as they explained: "Great selection of pieces inside to build many different things, but the box that they come in could be better. The red locks pop off easy and the dividers on the inside slide out easily, as well. Buy for the pieces, not the box." However, another Lego fan was thrilled, as they said: "Great choice for a kid you are just introducing to Lego building. It lets them see what can be done in various ways before graduating to more skilled things." Someone else wrote: "We ordered this to have as spare pieces. It's super cute and can be used to travel with Lego." To snap up the Creative Suitcase for only £2.20, new members can sign up to TopCashback for free here. Search for 'Lego', click 'Get Cashback Now', then shop and checkout on the Lego website as usual. The cashback will track and appear in the TopCashback account within seven working days of purchasing. The £15 cashback will become payable and available to withdraw and spend after Lego has paid TopCashback the commission.
