‘They do not care' – Fans can't believe what Bruno Fernandes tried while 1-0 down in potentially his last Man Utd game

BRUNO FERNANDES left Man Utd fans stunned with his attempt to get his side back into the game away to Hong Kong.
With the Red Devils trailing 1-0, their captain was put through on goal with the chance to equalise.

But he then attempted a rabona, which the goalkeeper saved with his leg.
The Portugal star was then accused of "not caring" by supporters.
One fan wrote: "Man United 1-0 down to Hong Kong and Bruno tries this…
"They simply don't care!"
And another posted: "Get rid of Bruno asap"
But other fans were more annoyed with the actions of Rasmus Hojlund.
That's because Fernandes did manage to retrieve the situation, control the ball again and play a pass to the striker, who was just outside the six-yard box.
But Hojlund failed to control the ball and saw it cleared by the Hong Kong defence.
One fan commented: "I'm more interested in how Hojlund can't control a simple pass."
Ruben Amorim bursts out laughing when asked about Man Utd star's future
Another wrote: "Hojlunds first touch is that bad, his second touch is a tackle"
And a third put: "That's embarrassing. They should be taking this seriously, I can't believe he has just tried to pass to Hojlund there."
The incident could have ended up being an infamous end to Fernandes' Man Utd career as his agent reportedly held talks with Al Hilal this week.
The Saudi side are looking to secure a £100m deal ahead of their Club World Cup campaign.
And that could see Fernandes earn a tax-free £700,000-a-week, three-year deal worth £200m including bonuses.
If the match in Hong Kong does turn up to be Fernandes' last for Man Utd, then his blushes were at least spared by his team-mates.
Striker Chido Obi netted a second-half double before Ayden Heaven scored a late third to secure a 3-1 win.

Is Gunn answer to Scotland's goalkeeping question?

International friendly: Scotland v IcelandWhen: Friday, 6 June Where: Hampden Park Kick-off: 19:45 BSTCoverage: Watch live on BBC One Scotland and BBC Sport website & app, online text updates, listen on BBC Radio Scotland The guy who was most recently Scotland's first-choice goalkeeper is 42 and currently out injured. His likely replacement doesn't have a club. The next two in line - depending on your view of the pecking order - have been in and out of the Kilmarnock team this season and made just a handful of senior appearances other contenders for the position are either out of form or out of led head coach Steve Clarke to recently suggest that Scotland's lack of options in goal has been an Gunn will likely be the preferred choice for the impending friendlies against Iceland and Liechtenstein. But is he the answer longer-term? And if not, who is? What did Clarke say about it? The Scotland head coach admitted concern at the dearth of goalkeepers coming through when announcing the squad for these matches, adding that it had been "probably an oversight" given the quality of options over the past two pointed to the likes of the injured Craig Gordon, and the retired David Marshall and Allan McGregor as the kind of talent that currently just isn't answer, in his view, lies in giving young goalkeepers the opportunity to play competitively, earlier."A lot tend to be kept in squads to sit on the bench," Clarke said. "They are working with good people and learning good habits but only in training."Maybe we can find a way to get these young goalkeepers out to clubs in League 1, League 2, the Championship at an earlier age where they play and do well."The boys need a chance and, when they get a chance, they need to take it." Gunn encouraged by younger deputies Gunn returns to the squad for these friendlies and seems likely to start despite currently being a free agent after leaving Norwich 15 caps, he was first choice at Euro 2024 before injury struck, allowing Gordon to reclaim his spot. Now it's his chance to turn the duo Robby McCrorie and Cieran Slicker provide back-up, with the latter having played just 10 minutes as a substitute for Ipswich Town all made 20 Premiership starts for Kilmarnock, while the majority of Scottish top-flight goalkeepers come from other recent squad members such as Rangers Liam Kelly and Zander Clark at Hearts are also lacking game time."I wouldn't say there has been an issue," Gunn said on Tuesday. "I think the nation's been blessed with top goalkeepers for many years. Things happen in cycles. "The three guys here training with us this week all look top-quality young keepers but it's about experience and game time in big games."I was quite inexperienced when I came into the squad. Playing at the Euros was a big learning curve for me and a big opportunity. "Only things like that can help and benefit goalkeepers and without experience you're not going to get any better." What other options are out there? While it often proves futile to speculate on the next big thing, Clarke clearly thinks hope lies with Callan McKenna, who has joined the squad this week in 18-year-old was number one for Queen's Park in the Scottish Championship at the start of season 2023-24, before moving to join English Premier League side Bournemouth, where he is part of their development fact that Clarke has brought him into the fold supports the idea that experience of the international environment is key but not just in training over the longer and Slicker will undoubtedly do everything in their power to stake their claims over the coming days, but Clarke's openness on this subject suggests he believes he needs more options said, with World Cup qualification next on the agenda after this friendly double-header, Clarke will surely look to rely on experience in such a key position for the opening fixtures away to Denmark and Belarus.
