More than 9,000 Babyletto recliners are being recalled after dozens of overheating reports. Here's how to check if yours is affected. If you've been using a Babyletto Kiwi recliner for feedings, naps, or bedtime stories, here's what you need to know. Bexco Enterprises has issued a recall of about 9,030 Babyletto Kiwi Electronic Recliner and Swivel Gliders with USB ports due to an overheating hazard. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the USB module located in the arm of the chair can overheat, smoke, or spark, creating a risk of injury. So far, 37 incidents have been reported, including one minor injury. No fires or property damage have been reported. The recall includes Babyletto Kiwi Electronic Recliner and Glider chairs with two USB charging ports. These chairs are fabric-covered, measure about 29 inches wide by 36 inches deep and 41 inches high, and weigh approximately 125 pounds. A wide variety of color and fabric combinations are included in the recall, including: Almond Teddy Loop with Light Wood Base (SKU: M11288ATLB) Latte Teddy Loop with Dark Wood Base (M11288LTDB) Olive Boucle with Light Wood Base (M11288OBLB) Performance Grey Eco-Weave (M11288PGEW) Performance Cream Eco-Weave (M11288PCMEW) Performance Frost Eco-Twill with Light Wood Base (M11288PFETLB) Performance Beach Eco-Weave (M11288PBEW) Performance Navy Eco-Twill (M11288PVET) Performance Natural Eco-Twill with Light Wood Base (M11288PNETLB) Ivory Boucle with Gold Base (M11288WBG) Affected chairs can be identified by SKU and batch number printed on a white label under the footrest. You can find the full list of batch numbers at Where the chairs were sold The chairs were sold online through Amazon, Babylist, Target, Pottery Barn Kids, Wayfair, and Crate Kids, as well as other websites between May 2023 and February 2025 for about $800. The chair can still be used for reclining and gliding after the USB ports are deactivated.
