Police trace owner of car driven by 11-year-old in Klang
South Klang police chief ACP Ramli Kasa confirmed that the young driver and two other children, aged seven and a Malaysian cousin, were traced. The 11-year-old and the seven-year-old are siblings and UNHCR cardholders.
Initial investigations revealed that the mother had driven the car from Bandar Sultan Suleiman to her sister's house in Telok Gong. She briefly left the children unattended to use the toilet. 'The 11-year-old took the car keys and drove with the younger sibling and cousin to a nearby shop,' Ramli said.
The child drove two kilometres before losing control, causing the car to skid into a roadside drain. No injuries were reported, and only minor damage occurred to the vehicle.
Police are investigating under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving, Section 39(1) for driving without a licence (underage), and the Child Act 2001 for potential neglect. - Bernama

Acting Penang police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said the 56-year-old man came across a Facebook advertisement in February promising high returns. He later contacted a man via WhatsApp. He said the victim was lured by promises of quick profits and was instructed to download the XGI Horizon app to register and begin investing. 'Between Feb 18 and April 24, the victim made 31 transfers into 10 different company accounts,' he said in a statement today. Mohd Alwi said the man realised he had been scammed when he was asked to make further payments before he could withdraw his purported profits. GOF Seizes E-waste Worth Over RM31 Million In Parit
IPOH, July 23 (Bernama) -- The General Operations Force (GOF) seized electronic waste (e-waste) worth RM31.3 million during a raid on an illegal factory located within an oil palm plantation in Parit yesterday. Ulu Kinta GOF Northern Brigade Commander SAC Shahrum Hashim said the seized items included 81 blocks of e-waste weighing 105,300 kilogrammes (kg), 5,000 kg of coal, two four-wheel-drive vehicles and a trailer lorry. 'The investigation discovered that the illegal factory, located about five kilometres from the main road, is believed to have been carrying out unlicensed e-waste processing activities using specialised equipment without any approval from the authorities.
