The Phoenix Suns are expected to trade Kevin Durant this offseason after missing the playoffs and play-in tournament this year.

Durant has one year left on his contract. While he doesn't have a no-trade clause, the future Hall of Famer is rumored to be working with the Suns on a trade.
Durant turns 37 in September. He averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the Suns this season while shooting 52.7% from the field, 43.0% from beyond the arc and 83.9% from the free-throw line.
According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Suns trading Durant this offseason is a 'foregone conclusion" and one NBA analyst believes LeBron James' former team should trade for KD.

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report proposed that the Miami Heat trade Terry Rozier, Duncan Robinson, Nikola Jovic, the No. 20 pick and a 2030 first-round pick (top-three-protected) to the Suns for Durant.

"If the Heat could keep Durant upright—he's averaged 54.8 appearances in his five seasons since returning from a torn Achilles—he could be a true fortune-changer. Tyler Herro looked over his skis as a primary scorer, but he'd be incredibly hard to handle as a second option. Plus, Durant's gravitational pull as a three-level scorer would help generate cleaner finishing chances for Bam Adebayo," Buckley wrote.
James won two titles, two MVPs and two Finals MVPs with the Heat. He played for the franchise from 2010-11 to 2013-14.
Durant has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns.
KD won two championships and two Finals MVPs with the Warriors but hasn't gotten back to the NBA Finals since leaving Golden State for Brooklyn in 2019.

It will be fascinating to see where Durant is playing next season.

Report: Utah Jazz may be listening to trade offers for their All-Star

The Utah Jazz have been rebuilding since they were widely praised for trading Rudy Gobert, while later being criticized for trading Donovan Mitchell in 2022. The Minnesota Timberwolves have since made two Western Conference Finals appearances, which is farther than the Jazz ever got with the four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Yet, the Jazz haven't even been able to get back to the playoffs since conducting their two blockbuster trades. Now, they could be looking to trade their best player again. Advertisement According to The Ringer's Bill Simmons, there's a belief among NBA league circles that the Jazz are now open to listening to trade offers for Lauri Markkanen. The one-time All-Star has been a popular subject of trade rumors in the past. The legitimate seven-footer has established a reputation for being one of the sweetest shooting bigs in the NBA, holding a 37.1% three-point rate for his career while averaging 2.5 makes per game. Still just 28 years old, Markkanen should have a great amount of trade value around the NBA, especially among teams looking to add more size and shooting to their lineup. The Jazz may also have interest in trading former Timberwolves first-round pick Walker Kessler, who came to Utah as one of the centerpieces in the Gobert trade. Kessler is about to turn 24 years old, has averaged 2.4 blocks per game in his career but is now extension eligible for the first time in his career and the Jazz may not want to foot the bill. NBA insider drops convincing update on Giannis Antetokounmpo trade

One of the biggest questions circulating the upcoming NBA offseason is whether the Milwaukee Bucks will consider trading Giannis Antetokounmpo. While, typically the Bucks likely wouldn't have any interest in trading the face of their franchise, their chances to compete took a serious hit once All-Star point guard went down with a torn Achilles tendon during the playoffs. With Lillard likely set to miss all of next season, the Bucks may have to make other plans, whether it's toward contention or setting a new path that helps them bounce back in an even bigger way remains to be seen. Yet, their unique situation has led to a lot of Giannis trade rumors. Advertisement Could the Greek Freak even request a trade? That hasn't happened, yet. However, ESPN's NBA insider Brian Windhorst recently touched on an Antetokounmpo trade, essentially saying that the Bucks aren't having any discussions. In fact, Windhorst claims, 'there is no Antetokounmpo trade market' right now. 'Right now, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade discussions. He has not asked for it. The Bucks are not looking to trade him.' ESPN's Brian Windhorst on Giannis Antetokounmpo trade Of course, these plans could change quickly. All it takes is one team making an offer too good to refuse, and the Bucks' ears could suddenly perk up. Plus, there's always the outside possibility that Antetokounmpo himself tries to force Milwaukee's hand by requesting a trade. Would the Bucks do right by their franchise's most valuable player and honor his trade request? If not, things could get ugly. Advertisement But for now, Antetokounmpo appears set for another season in Milwaukee, where he's already won one ring. Now he has to figure out how he can win another. Toronto Raptors could pivot from Giannis Antetokounmpo trade for this multi-time All-Star

If they got their way, the Toronto Raptors would emerge from this offseason as winners of the potential Giannis Antetokounmpo trade sweepstakes. Yet, there's no guarantee the Milwaukee Bucks are even open to trading the face of their franchise. Thus, if the Raptors can't build a trade proposal strong enough for the Bucks to bite, they need to have other options available. However, based on the latest report, the Raptors will indeed be prepared to swing for the fences for another blockbuster trade. Advertisement According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Raptors could be a team that makes a play for 15-time All-Star Kevin Durant. With the Phoenix Suns already widely expected to trade Durant, it only makes sense for Toronto to get a price check on the future Hall of Famer. 'But Toronto has likewise been painted by numerous NBA figures as a potential trade suitor for Durant … particularly if Antetokounmpo doesn't reach the open market. The Raptors, furthermore, would figure to have a more realistic shot at assembling a competitive trade offer for Durant compared to the mammoth offers that the Bucks would inevitably seek for Antetokounmpo's services. The Greek Freak also happens to be six years younger than Durant, is still playing at an MVP level and, most crucially, has two more guaranteed years left on his contract.' Marc Stein on Toronto Raptors' interest in Kevin Durant While Antetokounmpo would be the more celebrated trade, he's also much more expensive to acquire, and that's if he's even remotely available. Thus, trading for a 36-year-old Durant would be far more feasible. Not only would trading for Durant require the Raptors to part with fewer assets, he's guaranteed to be available, unlike chasing after Antetokounmpo, which could result in a gigantic waste of time.
