The Phoenix Suns are expected to trade Kevin Durant this offseason after missing the playoffs and play-in tournament this year.

Durant has one year left on his contract. While he doesn't have a no-trade clause, the future Hall of Famer is rumored to be working with the Suns on a trade.
Durant turns 37 in September. He averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the Suns this season while shooting 52.7% from the field, 43.0% from beyond the arc and 83.9% from the free-throw line.
According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Suns trading Durant this offseason is a 'foregone conclusion" and one NBA analyst believes LeBron James' former team should trade for KD.

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report proposed that the Miami Heat trade Terry Rozier, Duncan Robinson, Nikola Jovic, the No. 20 pick and a 2030 first-round pick (top-three-protected) to the Suns for Durant.

"If the Heat could keep Durant upright—he's averaged 54.8 appearances in his five seasons since returning from a torn Achilles—he could be a true fortune-changer. Tyler Herro looked over his skis as a primary scorer, but he'd be incredibly hard to handle as a second option. Plus, Durant's gravitational pull as a three-level scorer would help generate cleaner finishing chances for Bam Adebayo," Buckley wrote.
James won two titles, two MVPs and two Finals MVPs with the Heat. He played for the franchise from 2010-11 to 2013-14.
Durant has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns.
KD won two championships and two Finals MVPs with the Warriors but hasn't gotten back to the NBA Finals since leaving Golden State for Brooklyn in 2019.
