While 1923 was originally slated to be a limited series like 1883, the show is now in its second season. Unfortunately, actor Brandon Sklenar seemingly confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Season 2 will be the show's last.
'No, no, it's bookend. It's still limited, but I think of it as one piece — there's just a split in the middle, but it's all one piece. It will conclude,' the It Ends With Us star said.
1923 is a prequel series to Yellowstone, much like its predecessor, 1883. There are more Yellowstone prequels in the works including a sequel to 1923 called 1944.
Taylor Sheridan's Western world is full of prequels, sequels and spinoffs, here's the general timeline for the Yellowstone universe:

Conan O'Brien: ‘Late-night television as we know it is going to disappear'

Comedian Conan O'Brien lamented what he predicted to be the impending end of late-night television, but he celebrated the comics and writers who he says will find a new medium for their work. 'Yes, late-night television as we have known it since around 1950 is going to disappear, but those voices are not going anywhere,' O'Brien said as he was being inducted into the 27th Television Academy Hall of Fame this week. 'People like Stephen Colbert are too talented and too essential to go away. It's not going to happen.' 'The Late Show,' which Colbert hosted, was canceled by Paramount last month as the company moved to close a multibillion-dollar merger with fellow entertainment giant Skydance. Colbert had criticized Paramount for a recent settlement it paid President Trump, whom he has for years mocked on his weeknight show. Trump has celebrated the end of Colbert's show and suggested other late-night comics who have been critical of him could also soon see their shows canceled. Paramount said the decision to cancel Colbert's CBS show was a financial one, as more consumers have turned to streaming services like Netflix, Apple and others for entertainment and comedy options. 'Streaming changes the pipeline, but the connection, the talent, the ideas that come into our homes, I think it's as potent as ever,' O'Brien, a former host on NBC's 'Late Night,' said Sunday.

Ronnie Rondell Jr., Stuntman Set on Fire for Pink Floyd's ‘Wish You Were Here' Cover, Dies at 88

Ronnie Rondell Jr., a veteran Hollywood stuntman best known for being set on fire for the cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here album, has died. He was 88. Rondell Jr. passed away on Tuesday (Aug. 12) at a senior living facility in Osage Beach, Mo., his family announced, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A cause of death was not given. To music fans, however, he is most famously remembered as the man engulfed in flames on the cover of Pink Floyd's 1975 album, Wish You Were Here. The striking image was shot on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, Calif., and features a half-burning Rondell Jr. shaking hands with fellow stuntman Danny Rogers, both dressed in business suits. 'I'd been doing a lot of fire work in those days, and I had the special suits and all this stuff for fully enveloped fire,' Rondell Jr. recalled in the documentary Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here (via Rolling Stone). 'It was pretty easy to do, not too life-threatening, and paid well.' The iconic photo, created by Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell of the English art design group Hipgnosis, took around 15 attempts to shoot due to wind and other factors — and even resulted in Rondell Jr. having part of his eyebrow and mustache burned off. 'We repeated the process 14 times, took the shot, and then on the 15th a gust of wind blew up and wrapped the fire around his face and burnt him,' Powell told The Guardian in 2020. 'He threw himself to the ground and his whole team piled on blankets to put him out.' He added, 'I knew I had got a special picture. It took a long time to persuade Ronnie to stand exactly as I wanted but in the end he was very brave and it was a perfect composition.' Rondell Jr.'s extensive list of film credits includes Kings of the Sun (1963), Shenandoah (1965), Grand Prix (1966), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), Blazing Saddles (1974), To Live and Die in L.A. (1985), They Live (1988), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Thelma & Louise (1991), Last Action Hero (1993), Speed (1994) and The Crow (1994). He also worked as a stunt coordinator on several Aaron Spelling-produced television series, including The Rookies, S.W.A.T., Charlie's Angels, Fantasy Island, Dynasty, Vegas, Hart to Hart and T.J. Hooker, according to THR. Rondell Jr. retired in 2000 but returned to perform in a chase scene for The Matrix Reloaded (2003), where his son R.A. Rondell was the supervising stunt coordinator. The Agency Season 2: Release date speculation, cast updates and plot details – Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on August 18, 2025, 19:00 IST Last updated August 18, 2025, 11:45 IST The Agency hooked millions with its slick spy drama, racking up over 5.1 million global streams on Paramount+ when it dropped on November 29, 2024. Now, with Season 1's jaw-dropping finale still fresh, fans are itching for Season 2. What's next for Martian and the crew? Here's the lowdown on when it might land, who's in the cast, and what plot twists are brewing, based on everything out there so far. The Agency Season 2 Potential Release Date Trying to nail down a release date for The Agency Season 2 feels like decoding a secret message, but there's enough chatter to make an educated guess. Filming started in spring 2025, hopping between London, Estonia, and Egypt for that globe-trotting vibe. Since the show doesn't lean heavily on CGI, production moves fast. Some fans are betting on a late 2025 premiere—maybe December to match Season 1's timing—while others think early 2026 is more likely. Paramount+ hasn't spilled an official date yet, but the show's massive debut means they're probably pushing to keep fans hooked. Keep your eyes peeled for news on Paramount+ or Showtime's socials for the latest. The Agency Season 2 Expected Cast The cast of The Agency is a big part of why it's a hit, and Season 2 is bringing back the heavy hitters. Michael Fassbender is locked in as Martian, the CIA operative juggling covert missions and a messy love life. Jeffrey Wright's back as Henry Ogletree, the agency bigwig, and Richard Gere returns as Bosko, the tough-as-nails London Station Chief. Jodie Turner-Smith's Dr. Sami Zahir is expected to show up too, even after that cliffhanger left her fate up in the air. Rounding out the returning crew are Katherine Waterston (Naomi), John Magaro (Owen), Saura Lightfoot-Leon (Danny), Harriet Sansom Harris (Dr. Rachel Blake), Andrew Brooke (Grandpa), India Fowler (Poppy), Reza Brojerdi (Reza), and Alex Reznik (Coyote). New faces are shaking things up, too. Christian Ochoa Lavernia joins as a regular, playing Grandma, a mysterious agent linked to Grandpa. Then there's Clayne Crawford as Viking, Keanush Tafreshi as Hassan Zamani, Medalion Rahimi as Darya, Raza Jaffrey as Craig, and Tessa Ferrer as Robyn, all popping up in recurring roles. These additions hint at bigger, bolder storylines, maybe diving into new corners of the spy world. Fans are also wondering if Hugh Bonneville's shady MI6 guy, James, will sneak back in, but nothing's confirmed yet. The Agency Season 2 Potential Plot Warning: Season 1 spoilers ahead! If you're not caught up, Season 1 ended with a bang. Martian pulled off a daring extraction of Coyote but got roped into a new gig as a double agent for MI6's Richardson, all to protect Sami, his old flame. Season 2 is set to lean hard into this double-agent drama, with Martian walking a tightrope between the CIA and MI6. Expect plenty of tension as he wrestles with loyalty, lies, and the high stakes of espionage. Meanwhile, Danny's mission in Tehran, sniffing out intel on Iran's nuclear program, should keep the geopolitical heat turned up. Jeffrey Wright dropped a hint in a Variety interview that Henry might face some workplace drama as a DEI hire, bringing real-world issues into the mix. The showrunners, Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, have teased that Season 2 will mirror today's chaotic global scene, calling it a 'golden age' for spies who can vanish off the radar. Michael Fassbender told Deadline the new season is 'relentless,' with bigger risks and more emotional gut-punches. Sounds like viewers are in for a wild ride.
