Government to push back on 15 percent US tariff
The government had promised to push back on the 15% tariff on New Zealand exports to the United States. The White House revised a swathe of rates today, lifting New Zealand's tariff from 10 to 15%. Trade Minister Todd McClay said the jump is a real concern for exporters who can only absorb or pass on so much of the additional costs.
