Emmerdale pulled from TV schedules amid dead body story
If you're planning on tuning into Emmerdale tonight you're going to be in for a shock, as the ITV soap won't be airing this evening.
As the summer nears ever closer, we are slowly getting to the point where sport takes over a lot of the schedule.
This happened last week when the UEFA Women's Nations League aired instead of Emmerdale, and will be happening again this evening.
Here's everything you need to know.
Live International Football begins at 7pm on ITV later and finishes at 10:05pm, meaning there won't be a slot free for Emmerdale to air.
The friendly match is a men's game, England vs Senegal.
Thankfully, you don't have very long to wait, as Emmerdale will air tomorrow at 7:30pm, for half an hour.
The Thursday episode will be broadcasted as normal for one hour, starting at 7:30pm, and then Friday at 7:30-8pm.
We ended Monday's episode with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) forming a plan to try and get Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) off the hook. He is currently a prime suspect in Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) murder investigation, and John felt sorry for him when he said that he's desperate to grieve for his son. More Trending
John will soon plant Nate's phone in Frankie's playhouse. The police will then search Tracy Shankley's (Amy Walsh) home, leaving them to grow suspicious of her, as they find the device in the garden.
Elsewhere, Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) realise Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) has left Eve alone with his medication, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) forgets an important anniversary, and Pollard (Chris Chittell) has some important news.

Up at Home Farm, a freshly recovered Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is quick to assume Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) has stolen Clemmie's phone and also, Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) makes another discovery about Sarah (Katie Hill).

Ed Sheeran reveals he has 24-hour security for himself, his kids and his wife out of fear of 'dangerous people' after attempted break-in
Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has enlisted 24-hour security for himself and his family amid safety concerns about 'dangerous people'. The Galway Girl hitmaker, 34, made the confession on the latest episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast while discussing his wife Cherry Seaborn and their two daughters. Speaking about life in the limelight, Ed revealed there had been an attempted break-in at his sprawling Suffolk home, dubbed Sheeranville, and he brought in 24-hour security as a result. He said: 'I do think that there is a different kind of normal that is our business. I have like 24-hour security on my house. I have security with my kids. 'I have security with me. I have security with my wife, just because there have been a couple of weird things over the years that have happened.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Louis appeared shocked, to which Ed added: 'Just so you know there's lots of dangerous people out there. We've had like you know a break-in attempt. 'In my industry, that's normal. That's kind of like an underlying thing that no one really talks about, but that is kind of a part of being in the public eye.' Elsewhere in the episode, Ed lifted the lid on his very famous pals ranging from Elton John and Dave to Stormzy. He also recalled how Van Morrison once woek him up at six in the morning after a boozy night out with golfer Rory McIlroy. He said: I was doing a gig in Belfast and my grandmother had come down to the gig and she loves golf. Rory had come down and she loved being around him. We stayed up super late talking to him, and I'd say we went to bed at like 4am. 'About 6am, I got a call on my hotel phone from the hotel — "Mr Morrison's in the lobby, he wants to have breakfast with you". I was half asleep and half drunk. So I just hung up and I was like, "I have no idea who Mr Morrison is". 'Then I got another call and they said, "Sorry, Van Morrison is in". I ran downstairs and there he was waiting for me and we had breakfast, which is really surreal.' Another of the stars Ed has been lucky enough to spend time with is Eminem, who the A Team star worked with on the rapper's 2018 song River. Ed said: 'He loves comic books, Marvel movies and video games. I sent him a Nintendo 64 with Goldeneye on it because he'd never played it.' And the singer also revealed he once gave Stromzy a lift to the pub after buying his first car, a Mini. 'He didn't fit in the back,' he said. 'He seems like he'd be quite shy but I don't think he is when you get to know him. His humour is very similar to mine.' Meanwhile, speaking about his pal Dave, he said: 'He's done a lot of production on the new record because aside from being a brilliant lyricist, he's also an incredible producer and writer.' It comes after Ed was spotted cheering on his favourite football team Ipswich Town alongside Lewis Capaldi at the Premier League match against West Ham United last month. The Give Me Love hitmaker appeared in jovial spirits alongside fellow singer Lewis, 28, in Ipswich, only for his beloved team to bid farewell to the Premier League after a 3-1 defeat. The beloved English songwriter beamed in the stands, in the early stages of the match, as he sported a black and white long-sleeve shirt and a fuchsia baseball cap. Ed enjoyed some time off at the football game after making a surprise appearance at Radio 1's Big Weekend the day before, where he performed a new song inspired by his $100 million copyright trial. The singer wrote the track after revisiting an old phone during the lawsuit over his hit 'Thinking Out Loud.' He had been accused of copying Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On but was cleared in court in 2023. Taking to the stage at the Liverpool-based festival, Ed opened up about the inspiration behind his new song Old Phone before performing it for the first time in front of a crowd. Referring to his copyright trial, told the crowd: 'The judge ordered me to give up my old devices to the other lawyers for them to go through all my text messages and emails and photos and stuff like that. 'And in that process I switched on a phone that I had not looked at in 10 years and it was like looking into the past and it was conversations with people who had passed away.'

Shock moment man REJECTS life-changing $40,000 jackpot offer on Tipping Point - before the unexpected happens
An Aussie game show hopeful defied the odds this week, after rejecting a life-changing jackpot offer. Contestant John, 72, appeared on Monday's episode of popular Nine game show Tipping Point, where he had reached the endgame of the show- Jackpot Temptation. He had already banked $4,200 and had his eyes firmly set on the $20,000 jackpot prize. If that wasn't enough temptation, host Todd Woodbridge upped the ante, much to the contestant's surprise. 'What would you say if I gave you one counter and increased the jackpot to $40,000?' Todd asked. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'You would lose $4,200 if you decided to take Jackpot Temptation, but it's so rare to get to this position side-by-side.' Playing it safe, John rejected Todd's offer, saying: 'The chance of one [counter]...it would have to fall 100 per cent in the right spot. so, no, I will sadly decline that.' John's move was praised by his wife Helen who shouted from the audience: 'No, it's too much of a risk.' Todd then intervened with: 'Helen what would do it for you?' before tempting John again. 'I'm going to give you a final offer. I will give you three counters for $20,000,' Todd said as excitement in the studio rose. It seemed that Lady Luck was smiling on John on Monday as he ended up nabbing the $20,000 jackpot with his first of three counters. The crowd erupted in cheers over John's big win and Helen rushed the stage to celebrate with her husband. It comes after Channel Nine recently hit back at claims that the popular game show was 'rigged'. Fans took to social media in April to slam the show after they they noticed a counter mysteriously move across the board. The footage was taken from a recent episode in which a counter was dropped down the shelf and landed on the board, directly in line to move several discs off the shelf - setting the contestant up for a large payout. However, the disc then appeared to move several inches by itself to the right of the floor, where it was not in a position to knock over any discs, increasing the chances of the contestant losing. The contestant in question, Graham, did not win any money during the episode and was the second player eliminated on the night. 'Tipping Point is not rigged, they say. Watch this... Using magnets, what the hell,' the viewer sniped over the footage. However, in a statement to Daily Mail Australia, a Channel Nine spokesperson denied any suggestions the show was rigged. 'Nine refutes the claim that the game is rigged and that magnets were used to manipulate the counter,' the network told Daily Mail Australia. 'There are absolutely no magnets involved.' Fans were divided over the clip and took to the comment section to share their thoughts. However, some said the footage did not prove the show was rigged and said there might be a more simple solution. 'It's the push force on the disc,' one person suggested. 'They're actually wooden discs. Not metal like they sound like,' another wrote. They added there was a logical explanation for the counter appearing to move by itself in the clip. 'The machine's counters, wall, and shelves are all constructed from Perspex' they said. 'The movement observed in the clip is a result of natural suction that can occur between two flat, clean Perspex surfaces when they are in close contact. This suction can create friction, affecting the smoothness of the counter's movement.'

Major EastEnders star is 'revealed as new landlady at the Queen Vic' after owners Linda and Elaine put iconic pub up for sale
Albert Square's next landlady at the Queen Vic pub has been revealed after owners Linda Carter and her mum Elaine Peacock were forced to put it up for sale. Leopard print-loving loudmouth Kat Moon, played by Jessie Wallace, is set to take over the EastEnders pub in her third time working behind the bar. She previously worked at the boozer alongside ex-husband Alfie Moon from 2010 to 2013. A source told The Sun: 'This will be Kat's third time working in the Queen Vic, but this will be her first time at the helm. 'It's a full-circle moment for the character, as when she first moved on to Albert Square in 2000, Kat gained employment as a barmaid at the pub. Then, ten years on, she helped Alfie. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'But now she's going to be the sole licensee of the boozer and it will kick-start a whole new chapter for the pub.' Kat has already been part of the soap's biggest storylines, including Alfie's prostate cancer battle and a failed marriage to Phil Mitchell. Kat's new job comes as she has tied the knot with Alfie (Shane Richie) for the third time this week — more than two decades after first saying 'I do'. The sale of the boozer comes after it blew up in February, claiming the lives of Martin Fowler (James Bye) and killer accountant Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman). MailOnline have contacted EastEnders' representatives for comment. In another major shake-up, Bobby Brazier is leaving his role on EastEnders after three years. The actor, 22, joined the soap in 2022 as Freddy Slater and even won the National Television Award for Rising Star for his work on the show. But Bobby has been inundated with other offers since taking part on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. A source told The Sun: 'This will be Kat's third time working in the Queen Vic, but this will be her first time at the helm. It's a full-circle moment for the character, as when she first moved on to Albert Square in 2000, Kat gained employment as a barmaid at the pub' According to The Sun, the actor will leave Albert Square later this year. An EastEnders spokeswoman said: 'We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.' A source added: 'Bosses had a meeting with Bobby only recently as they had a plan in mind for a storyline, and it just so happened that Bobby was also thinking that now was the right time to look for other opportunities outside the show. 'The timing of the decision worked for both, but his final scenes are not for a while yet. The character has had a great run, but the time is now right for Bobby to look for other opportunities, and for EastEnders to wave goodbye to Freddie Slater.'
