WWE Money In The Bank 2025: 10 Things You Must Know

TULSA, OKLAHOMA - JUNE 02: Bron Breakker, Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman stand tall ... More during Monday Night RAW at BOK Center on June 2, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. (Photo by Rich Freeda/WWE via Getty Images) WWE is taking over southern California this weekend with Smackdown, Worlds Collide and Money in the Bank emanating from the Los Angeles area. Fans have endured some roster transition over the past week, so there is some pressure for the promotion to produce an entertaining and memorable premium live event on Saturday. Here's the 10 things you must know about Money in the Bank 2025. WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025. The event will take place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Ticketmaster's cheapest available ticket early on Thursday morning was $238 while the most expensive was $9,320. The main event figures to be the high-profile tag team match featuring Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs John Cena and Logan Paul. While this match is heavy on star power, there isn't much attached to it besides the chances that the men's MITB winner will cash in on a depleted Cena at the end of the match. If there is no surprise entrant into the MITB match–like Karrion Kross–one surprise that we could see is Becky Lynch aligning herself with her real-life husband Seth Rollins–helping him win MITB. I have written this before, but I believe we're headed for a mixed tag-team match at Summerslam that sees Seth and Becky take on CM Punk and AJ Lee. Quite honestly, it's going to be a hard sell for anyone in the men's MITB to win besides Rollins. There could be a case made for Penta, but as it is, having Rollins win his second briefcase would make the most sense. Rollins' 2014 cash-in–which is arguably the greatest in WWE history–would be tough for the future Hall-of-Famer to top, but with Paul Heyman and others involved, there's plenty of routes to take to make it stand on its own. If I'm being totally honest, no one deserves the opportunity more than Naomi. She has been amazing on her heel run. The way she's been lurking in the shadows over the past week is a perfect setup for a MITB run. Color me Team Naomi for this one.

'We want WrestleMania to come to London': Mayor makes pitch to WWE legend Triple H

London Mayor Sadiq Khan made a pitch to World Wrestling Entertainment legend Paul "Triple H" Levesque to bring the wrestling promotion's biggest event, Wrestlemania, to the U.K. capital. "I'd love for WrestleMania to come to London," Khan told CNBC's Tania Bryer. "Triple H if you're watching, we want WrestleMania to come to London." Speculation has been rife about London as a destination since 2023 when wrestling legend John Cena made a surprise appearance at a show in the city and gave backing to the idea of bringing WrestleMania to the British capital. If the event, dubbed the "Super Bowl of Wrestling," were to come to the U.K.'s capital city, it would be the first time the event is hosted outside of North America. Levesque, whose ring name is Triple H, is now chief content officer of the WWE. Khan held talks with Levesque in July last year, adding to the speculation. He then made a further pitch for London during the CNBC interview. "If WrestleMania came to London, my message to the team there is that we wouldn't just have a great weekend, we'd have a festival, of you know, legends in WrestleMania coming to London, current stars, but also future stars as a well," Khan said. "It will open a completely new market for them as well." WrestleMania 41, the biggest show in the WWE calendar, was held in Las Vegas this year. The two-day event takes place over a weekend with shows such as "Smackdown" and "Raw" usually taking place around the time of the main event. Khan described London as the "sporting capital of the world," touting events such as the tennis at Wimbledon and even American football matches as evidence of its sporting achievements. WWE, which is owned by TKO Group, has looked to expand the appeal and audience of the wrestling brand. WWE's Monday night weekly show "Raw" began streaming on Netflix this year. Khan said London could provide WWE the chance to expand further. "I think the potential has not been reached in terms of WrestleMania. We are the sporting capital in my view, of the world. And if WrestleMania wants to expand, the obvious place to come is London," Khan said.

49ers connected to familiar face in trade idea to bolster receiving corps

A slow offseason has suddenly gotten busy for the San Francisco 49ers. Now Pro Football and Sports Network has another idea to help the 49ers improve a weakness on their roster. The 49ers needed to add help at defensive end, so they sent a conditional fifth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for DE Bryce Huff. PFSN suggested another low-level trade that would bolster San Francisco's depth at wide receiver − a position with sizable question marks across the roster. Advertisement After an offseason of passing on big-name additions, the 49ers turn to a familiar face in PFSN's trade idea. They believe trading for New England Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne would give the 49ers the quality depth their roster lacks. Via PFSN: Bourne's future with the Patriots is somewhat uncertain, especially since the new coaching staff has no attachment to him. Since posting 55 catches and 800 yards in 2021, he hasn't surpassed 500 receiving yards in a season, and a torn ACL in October 2023 has impacted his availability the past two years. With Bourne turning 30 in August and the Patriots already bringing in Diggs and Mack Hollins as veteran presences, his role in New England looks shaky. Bourne is set to earn around $6.5 million this season and is under contract through 2026, though none of the remaining money is guaranteed. Teams reportedly showed interest around the trade deadline a season ago, but nothing ever materialized. Given his limited role and the lack of clarity around his fit within New England's rebuild, it wouldn't be shocking to see him moved. This is the type of move that would help round out a roster that was too top heavy a season ago. A fully healthy version of the 49ers would be in an okay place at receiver. Ricky Pearsall dealt with multiple injuries during camp last year and is now working through a hamstring injury he sustained in OTAs. Brandon Aiyuk's status for the regular season is up in the air as he makes his way back from a torn ACL in Week 7 last year. Demarcus Robinson, a free agent signee, may be facing a three-game suspension. Second-year fourth-round pick Jacob Cowing struggled as a rookie, and rookie Jordan Watkins is still unproven. Advertisement There are a handful of other veterans on the roster, but adding Bourne would make a ton of sense for a group with so many question marks. The 29-year-old posted only 28 catches for 305 yards and one touchdown last season while returning from his torn ACL. However, in 2023 before his injury he was up to 37 catches, 406 yards and four touchdowns in only eight games. San Francisco would love to have Bourne as an option who is familiar with their offense, and for Bourne it would give him an opportunity to regain his footing in his second season after a knee injury. A couple of strong years for the 49ers could earn Bourne another decent NFL contract. Bourne spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the 49ers. He led 49ers receivers with 487 receiving yards in 2018, and posted 1,769 yards with 11 touchdowns on 137 receptions across 58 games in San Francisco.
