You can already pre-order iPhone 17 cases
The iPhone 17 series is still months away with an expected release window for September of this year. However you can already pre-order phone cases for Apple's upcoming flagships if you want to get a feel for what it may be like to hold the new phones.
An industry insider who has provided us with CAD renders and 3D prints of the iPhone 17 family is now taking orders for the phone cases. It's not exactly clear whether these cases are self-made or affiliated with a brand but you can ask for one by messaging them directly on X. The cases show off the new designs of the iPhone 17 lineup. In particular the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max which have a massive camera island on the back while retaining the iconic and familiar triple-lens setup. The iPhone 17 Air's case has the slimmer but still larger-than-before camera island hole similar to a Google Pixel 9. However the base iPhone 17 's case is a bit odd and I'm personally not a fan of it.There are already high-quality 3D prints of the suspected iPhone 17 models and they fit perfectly in these phone cases. So you really can get a feel for how Apple's new phones will fit in your hand with or without a case. There's even a store in China that is letting customers use iPhone 17 dummies for the same purpose.

It reminds me of when the One UI 7 fervor reached a point where users began downloading leaked system apps ahead of release.
iPhone 17 cases have been in the news recently for other reasons as well. Aside from renders, some accessory manufacturers have accidentally confirmed the new iPhone 17 designs by listing phone cases on their store pages. The spotlight on Apple's upcoming phones is mired in debate about whether the redesign is a welcome one or not.
But Apple fans have another thing to worry about instead. It is seeming very likely that the iPhone 17 will be more expensive than its predecessors. And it also seems like Apple would like to refrain from publicly putting the blame on President Donald Trump's tariff policy.

Honor Magic V5 launch date confirmed
Honor revealed the launch date for its upcoming Magic V5. The device is set to go official on July 2 at a dedicated launch event in Shenzhen, China. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7's main competitor is set to arrive this month
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7won't be coming until July, which is giving companies like Xiaomi the opportunity to steal Samsung's show. The upcoming Mix Flip 2 is rumored to pack a large 5,100 mAh battery with support for 67W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 supposedly has a much smaller 4,200 mAh battery with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. The Mix Flip 2 is also said to feature a dual-camera system that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. We've also learned that Xiaomi's foldable will be IPX8 rated for water resistance. These are all the details we have about Xiaomi's next foldable, but we suspect the Chinese company will start revealing some of the phone's main highlights in the weeks leading up to its announcement. Honor X70 details leak
Honor is working on the X70 according to a new leak out of China. This mid-range device will be the successor to the X60 launched last year, and is tentatively scheduled to be unveiled next month. It will have a 6.79-inch OLED screen with "1.5K" resolution, and support for 80W wired charging. It will allegedly be offered in three colorways: white, black, and "bamboo". Honor X60 It will be thin and light with a big battery, and those are all the details that have been outed so far. Compared to its predecessor, it's switched to an OLED panel instead of LCD, and will support much faster charging (the X60 only does 35W). The Honor X70i was actually the first member of the X70 family to become official back in April, and there might be an X70 Pro as well, but this hasn't been leaked yet. We'll keep you posted.
