Under Armour's sub-brand, Curry Brand, co-owned by Stephen Curry, collaborated with De'Aaron Fox in 2024. Together, they rolled out their first edition, Fox 1. Recently, the second edition of the same Fox 2 was unveiled.
However, the shoe could not leave a good impression on most of the fans. Some fans found that the shoe looked exactly like Fox 1. One of the fans,@RyanJon87217700 's comment was about its design, which, according to him, could be a bit problematic or responsible for foot-related problems. The comment read, 'No wonder guys have bad ankles or Achilles.'
On the other hand, a few fans shared positive reactions to the signature shoe's unveiling.
Fox 1, the first collaboration with De'Aaron Fox, was loved for its stylish colorways. It reportedly embodied the NBA's most proven guard's play style and personality, i.e., speed and flexibility.

The unveiling did not win the fans' hearts completely. A few of the fans had second thoughts about Fox 2. Here are some of the examples of reactions that fans shared to express their disappointment over the new Curry Brand's release:
A user @britch14x wrote, 'If those were black they'd look just like my grandpa's new orthopedic shoes. He gets a free pair every year from the VA', taunting on the hefty price tag and not-so-unique design.
Another user, @GodzillaCoach, commented, 'SGA copy and paste…'
Third fan @TheWacoKidd44 commented, 'lol just like the first and just like a curry'
One more user, @FooManchooMatty wrote, 'Uhhh this isn't his first one? It looks almost the exact same'

But, the buzz was not entirely against Fox 2. Some fans welcomed the new look and shared positive reactions on Curry Brand's new signature sneaker.
A fan @SJSwamii appreciated the shoe, saying, 'The Fox 2 looks sleek and sharp, definitely an upgrade in style and design from the first pair Excited to see how they perform on court too'
Another supporter of Fox 2, @Raffael_AI, commented, 'The Fox 2 definitely has some standout features.
It's sleek and seems to elevate the style.'
One more fan, @imcool4k, wrote a one-word appreciation, 'Fireeee'

Here is the @brkicks' tweet that announced Fox 2's arrival and unveiled the new Fox 2, initiating discussion on these signature sneakers:
'First look at De'Aaron Fox's second signature sneaker with Curry Brand, the Fox 2
Is this better than his first?'
Sacramento Kings' most proven guard De'Aaron Fox was the first collaborator that Stephen Curry approached for a signature sneaker line. Curry, who created the sport shoe label, Curry Brand, as a sub-brand of sportswear and apparel giant, Under Armour, enriched his product line with Fox 1. Fox's first release, Fox 1, was launched in 'The Happy Fox Day' colorway and was known for its funky color scheme and metallic accents.
The new shoe looks somewhat plainer in appearance and is expected to promote speed and control, needed on the hardwood.

IND vs ENG: India end second day 52 runs ahead after Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna bag four each to restrict England

India's Mohammed Siraj (PTI Photo) LONDON: Often in this series, the fighting qualities of some player or the other has bailed India out of tricky situations. Mohammed Siraj was the man on Friday. His 4/86 offered India the spark they needed to get going again in this fiercely competitive series. Prasidh Krishna followed suit with 4/62 to finally come good in the series and restrict England's lead to first-innings lead to just 23. Subsequently, Yashasvi Jaiswal took the fight to England to set up another fascinating Test. At stumps, Jaiswal was batting on 51 off 49 with nightwatchman Akash Deep at the other end, and India were 52 runs on a lively pitch at the Oval. India's early-morning collapse for 224 and England's opening onslaught looked a distant memory. The Indian team management, after much deliberation, decided to use the light roller to start resume the second day's proceedings with Karun Nair and Washington Sundar at the crease. With England one bowler due to Chris Woakes' shoulder injury, India must have also thought about using the heavy roller to flatten out the juicy Oval surface toenable Nair to build on his unbeaten half-century. The light roller helped the pitch retain most of its seamfriendly characteristics. Under the bright sun, local boy Gus Atkinson ran through the batting in 30 minutes to finish with 5/33 on his return from injury. Techno Mag Learn More Undo by Taboola by Taboola India could only add 20 to the overnight score. It took Siraj and Krishna's incisive spells on either side of tea for India to recover from their indecisive strategy. Siraj and Krishna gave India breathing space after having bowled England out for 247. Till the first hour after lunch, India relied entirely on the pitch to do the trick for them. The entire team were visibly stunned when openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley went hammer and tongs up front. The scoring rate swelled to nearly eight runs per over in the first 12 overs. As it has happened mostly throughout the series, captain Shubman Gill didn't have a backup plan as England raced to 109/1 in 16 overs, losing Duckett to a reverse sweep off Akash Deep for 43 off 38. The field remained the same for every England batter. Following that opening onslaught, the three Indian seamers were left searching for the right areas to bowl. Siraj, with his experience, discovered it after lunch. Prasidh followed suit. In tandem, they stemmed the rampaging England batters. England were doing a 'Bazball' in its truest form. They didn't want the pitch and the Indian seamers to dictate proceedings. It was in sharp contrast to India's unidirectional approach to batting in seaming conditions. India played to survive. Nair looked composed on Thursday but strangely turned up tentative on Friday morning. He could add just five runs to his overnight score before Josh Tongue found his back pad in front of the stumps for 57. Washington, for the second time in two matches, holed out to a deep fielder positioned specifically for a hook shot. Tail, perhaps overwhelmed by the idea to stretch the innings long, didn't look to score, only to meekly surrender their wickets. Maybe, India missed the counterattacking spirit of Rishabh Pant. Maybe, England picked it up from India's innings. As the new ball played a few tricks, Duckett quickly switched to T20-style batting — be it running down the pitch to hit through the off-side or reverse sweeping the pacers. Crawley's dismissal for 64 off 57 to a sharp bouncer of Krishna felt like an event that came against the run of play. Once Siraj found his spot, run-scoring became tough. He went full and straight at the stumps, getting three LBWs and a bowled. Prasidh also focused on not offering any room to the English batters. There was a plan, finally. 'Meet me outside later!': Who said what in Prasidh Krishna, Joe Root, KL Rahul and Kumar Dharmasena heated conversation

Prasidh Krishna has an exchange with England's Joe Root on Day 2 of the fifth Test between England and India. (Getty Images) It was a dramatic day of cricket - on and off the pitch - at The Oval on Friday. As India and England squared off with the series still on the line, 16 wickets fell on Day 2 and tension grew in both camps while umpires tried to find the line between banter and sledging. Prasidh Krishna , Joe Root , Akash Deep, Ben Duckett , KL Rahul in both camps and umpire Kumar Dharmasena were all involved in some amped up conversations at some point in the day. Prasidh Krishna press confefence: On sledging Joe Root, special chat with Mohammed Siraj and more Prasidh and veteran Root had a tense moment that required interventions from the umpires. The usually composed Root reacted animatedly and was clearly not amused with Prasidh's comments following a boundary in the 22st over. Later, without revealing what was said between the two, the India pacer said he relished the banter with 'good mate' and said riling up England's batting mainstay was part of the team's plans. 'Well, it was a very small thing. I think it was just a competitive edge amongst us that was coming out. Both of us are good mates off the field. It was just a little bit of a banter and both of us enjoyed it,' said Prasidh in the press conference. The Karnataka man also hinted that the lip service to Root was not entirely by accident. Umpire Kumar Dharmasena has a word with Prasidh Krishna after the India seamer clashed with England's Joe Root during Day Two of the 5th Test between England and India at The Oval. (Getty Images) 'That was also the plan. But I didn't really expect a couple of words that I said to get such a big reaction from him. But like I said, I love the guy that he is. He's a legend of the game. 'And for him to come out there, it's great when two people are out there wanting to do their best,' said Prasidh, who took a four-wicket haul alongside Mohammed Siraj to script India's impressive comeback after the onslaught of Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley in the first session. As it enfolded, KL Rahul indulged in some heated conversation with on-field umpire Kumar Dharmasena. With the former Sri Lankan bowler trying to step in between Prasidh and Root, KL Rahul questioned, "What do you want us to do? Stay quiet" to which Dharmasena replied "You will like any bowler come and walk to you." Rahul, in anger, asked, "Then what do you want us to do, just bat, bowl and go home?" It also appeared that the official asked KL Rahul to have this conversation off the field of play. The day also saw a smiling Akash Deep give a rather unusual send off to Duckett, wrapping his arm around the England opener, a move that he clearly did not enjoy. England batting coach Marcus Trescothick said there was no need for the Indian pacer to act like that. 'Many in my time would have just dropped the elbow on him or something quite different. I don't think I've ever seen a bowler do that after getting someone out. Obviously, you see them having many words; you've seen it in this series on both sides. It was just different for me; I was just laughing and joking about it. 'It is what it is. You put your head down and walk off, your job is done at that point. There is no need to walk him off in that fashion,' said Trescothick. Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. Watch Here!
