'Tesla road rage guy' alleged Hawaii attack is a 'failure of the system,' attorney says
Alongside three alleged victims of the "Tesla road rage guy," attorney Gloria Allred called it an "absolute failure of the system" that he was released from a Los Angeles County prison, allowing him to allegedly strike again.
Nathaniel Radimak pleaded not guilty on Thursday in a Hawaii courtroom to a felony charge for unauthorized entry into a more vehicle and two misdemeanor charges for assault to the third degree, according to Allred.
Those charges were in connection with his arrest earlier this month in Honolulu. Police said he exchanged words with an 18-year-old woman from a Tesla as she was attempting to park her car. He then allegedly assaulted the young woman and her 35-year-old mother.
Radimak, 38, has a history of similar attacks in California.

He was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison for his role in a series of road rage attacks throughout Los Angeles County. He only served about 250 days after his sentencing; however, he was given credit for time served and 212 days for good behavior.
The violent nature of these incidents, along with video that has gone viral, has led to Radimak gaining notoriety online. In all incidents, including the recent alleged attack in Hawaii, he was driving a Tesla. It's not yet clear if he moved to Hawaii or was just visiting.
During a news conference Friday, Allred criticized California's justice system for allowing him to go back on the streets.
"When justice is not done, the public is in danger," she said. Allred added that the incident in Hawaii likely violated his parole agreement back in California. He's being held in Hawaii on $100,000 bail, but if that bail were to be paid, Allred says he'd be held on a no-bail warrant for a parole violation.
Although it appears Radimak will remain in custody as the legal process plays out for the new charges, Allred criticized the handling of the case in California. She alleges that, before his 2024 early release from prison, the victims of the crimes he was convicted weren't able to give their input, a legal right.
One alleged victim on Friday, identified as Vivian Romero, said she's not surprised that Radimak allegedly struck again.
"Had he served a sentence of five years in California, these new attacks on women may have been prevented," she said. "I believe that these incidents were a foreseeable consequence of a system that repeatedly failed to address his pattern of violence and his pattern of behavior."
'Vigilante justice'
Radimak was allegedly assaulted by fellow inmates at the Hālawa Correctional Facility on May 12, according to the Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
As of Friday, it's not yet clear why the alleged assault took place, or if the offending inmates knew of Radimak's notoriety at the time.
Allred disavowed what she described as "vigilante justice" on Friday, although she didn't appear too sympathetic.
"Doesn't look like he had a good time in Hawaii in custody. I couldn't help myself," she said with a smirk. "I wouldn't wish a beating on anyone, even Mr. Radimak."
She then took a serious tone and stated a truth.
"Most of his victims have been women," Allred said. "Terrifying."

One dead, dog seriously injured in San Francisco crash
(KRON) — A man is dead and a dog was seriously injured from a two-car crash that happened on a Highway 101 offramp in San Francisco Saturday. The crash occurred around 11:44 a.m., when a white Dodge Charger exited the southbound side of Highway 101 near Paul Avenue at a high rate of speed, the California Highway Patrol told KRON4. Chris Demirchyan has sued Forest Lawn Mortuary and the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Association for fraud, breach of contract, negligence and negligent infliction of emotional distress and is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, according to a lawsuit obtained by PEOPLE. Back in 2008, Chris' parents purchased two burial plots at the cemetery. In 2012, he allegedly requested they "release their two plots to allow for the family to have a total of six burial plots in the same area," and he went on to secure "four additional burial plots," the legal document claims. When Chris' mother died in July 2021, she was buried in one of the purchased plots a month later. Then, in September, the complaint claims Chris "entered into a contract" to get a headstone, but the legal document alleges that one "bearing [his] mother's name was ultimately placed on the wrong burial site." Per the lawsuit, Chris and his family "were unaware of this misplacement and continued visiting the incorrect site." When Chris' dad died earlier this year in April, the complaint claims the man and his family made arrangements for their late father to be buried in the adjacent plot next to where they believed their mother to be. However, during the service for his father, the legal document claims that Chris was informed "that while [his] mother was correctly buried in her designated plot, the headstone bearing her name had been placed on a different gravesite." Chris, the complaint claims, "was shocked, devastated and overwhelmed upon learning that the family had been grieving and visiting the wrong site for [his] mother for approximately 4 years." Per the legal document, Forest Lawn Memorial Park "promised that the issue would be corrected," and the cemetery subsequently "removed the incorrectly placed headstone and placed it on the correct site." The ordeal caused Chris "significant emotional distress, including shock, grief and ongoing mental anguish from having grieved and visited the wrong site for [his] mother," according to the complaint. It added that he also "suffered economic losses, emotional distress and other damages as a direct result" of the alleged mix-up. The legal document further accuses the Forest Lawn Memorial Park of being "reckless, negligent and in breach of its contractual obligations to [Chris], including its duty to properly place and maintain the headstone." Speaking with NBC Los Angeles, Chris' sister, Marine Demirchyan, said the ordeal has left her deeply upset. 'When she passed, I thought, 'At least, we have given her a peaceful, respectful place to rest.' But seeing her memorial tablet placed on the wrong grave, it felt like losing her all over again,' she told the outlet. "We were just talking to an empty spot.' 'She was caring. She was loving," Chris added of his mother, also asking NBC Los Angeles: "How could this happen?" Florida road rage over turn signal leads to shooting, man hit by SUV: Police

BRADENTON, Fla. - Two people are facing charges in a Florida road rage incident over a turn signal that led to a shooting and a man being hit with an SUV earlier this week, deputies say. What we know At around 3:23 p.m. on June 2, the Bradenton Police Department said it received multiple 911 calls regarding a shooting and traffic crash in the Riverwalk parking lot on Riverfront Boulevard. Officials said 33-year-old Raesean Poole was driving a Jeep and waiting to turn left out of the parking lot at 101 Riverfront Boulevard. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Antony Williams was driving a Buick east on Riverfront Boulevard and turned left into the parking lot in front of Poole. Williams parked his vehicle, and Poole backed up to confront him about not using a turn signal, authorities said. Williams and a 16-year-old passenger exited the Buick. Poole told police that during the confrontation Williams showed him a gun. CCTV video shows Poole began to drive away several times, but repeatedly stopped and continued arguing with Williams. During the final confrontation, officials said Poole turned onto Riverfront Boulevard, reversed and accelerated toward Williams. Poole hit a stop sign and a tree before then striking Williams in the leg. In response, the 16-year-old retrieved a gun and fired into Poole's Jeep. Authorities said all three men were arrested shortly after the incident. Poole is charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle, and the teen is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. Officials say Williams currently does not face any charges in the case, and he was not seriously injured.
