Samantha Ruth Prabhu On Why She's Taking Fewer Projects: ‘Quantity May Have Reduced But…'
Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared that she no longer juggles multiple films at a time, having realized the importance of listening to her body and mental well-being. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been a part of several hit films in her career span of over 15 years. However, she has now revealed that she now only does projects she is truly passionate about. She recently opened up about her conscious decision to reduce workload, admitting that she no longer juggles multiple films simultaneously, and instead listens to her body and mental well-being. She said that while she is doing fewer projects now than she once was, she does it with her whole heart. In a conversation with Grazia India, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was asked whether her priority is films or fitness. She replied, 'I've reached a point where I do things I'm extremely passionate about, and that includes both fitness and films. In the past, I've been a part of several films and series, but not all of them were passion projects. But now, every single thing I do, every business I invest in, every film that I produce, all have my heart. There are fewer projects, but they have my whole heart." When asked about the demanding nature of shooting for films, she said, 'I no longer shoot five films at a time. One thing I've realised is that I need to listen to my body, so I've reduced the amount of work that I do. But now everything that I do and put my energy and mind into matters so much more. Nothing is for the heck of it. The quantity may have reduced but the quality of projects has definitely increased." On the professional front, Samantha had a cameo appearance in the Telugu film 'Subham', which is produced by Samatha through her banner Tralala Moving Pictures. She was also seen in Raj and DK's spy action series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' alongside Varun Dhawan, which released last year on Amazon Prime Video. She will next be seen in the action thriller series, Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, sharing screen space with Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jaideep Ahlawat. Helmed by Raj and DK, the show is currently in production stage and is expected to arrive next year. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. How Much Money Does Bharti Singh Earn From YouTube? She Says, 'I Have So Much...'
Last Updated: Bharti Singh said it was her husband, Haarsh, who convinced her to start a YouTube channel. After conquering the world of television with her comedy and hosting skills, Bharti Singh ventured into the realm of YouTube vlogging. Bharti started posting clips with her family and gave fans a glimpse into her personal life. Bharti struck a chord with her fans, and she now has 7 million subscribers on YouTube. But how much money does Bharti earn from YouTube? In a recent chat with Raj Shamani, Bharti said, 'I make 60% of my income via television work, and 40% from YouTube. I can't believe it. If you'd told me that I would get paid for doing something as basic as cleaning a microphone and posting it… It was Haarsh (husband Haarsh Limbachiya) who told me that TV isn't going to last, and that I should focus on YouTube." 'At first, I didn't quite understand it. But then, I started enjoying it. And then, I started making money, which was even better. I've learned one thing: if you're dedicated and hard-working, YouTube will be just as dedicated to you," she said. Bharti mentioned, 'Sometimes, I feel like putting out four vlogs in a day. I have so much content, way more than 12 minutes can accommodate. I started YouTube a little over two years ago, and now I have over 7 million subscribers." She added, 'I used to upload one vlog a week earlier. But the money is good; still, it's not as good as TV. I can earn on TV in one day what I make on YouTube in a month. I love both mediums. Now, I feel strange when I don't share a vlog." While Bharti has become famous now and has earned a lot of money, she insists she is still connected to her roots. 'Yes, I travel business class and stay at five-star hotels, but I still eat with my hands. That will never change. I haven't changed. I still crave Amritsar. But I haven't been able to visit in three years. That's the thing about Mumbai; if you're a hard worker, this city won't let you leave. Whenever I make a plan to visit Amritsar, I get some new work," Bharti concluded. First Published: August 20, 2025, 15:41 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
