Silicone nipple covers, cooling pillowcases, a mascara with a devout cult following, and other products that were definitely dubbed "most likely to succeed" in their high school yearbook.
1. A tube of Essence mascara, available in both black and brown, that'll make your lashes so long and full it'll look like you stole them right off of Harry Style's angelic face.
This mascara was one of my first BuzzFeed shopping list impulse purchases! I was sold by all the wild customer images (it feels like this stuff makes lashes illegally long!) and positive reviews. I was *so* excited to get my hands on their brown version! I have naturally light lashes and red hair, so black lashes look really unnatural on me. I've loved using the brown and having a color that better complements my skin/hair.
Promising review:"After using Lights, Camera, Lashes by Tarte for the past year, I got tired of breaking the bank over mascara. My sister suggested Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. It provides dramatic length and great volume. I can honestly say I can't stop looking at my eyelashes in the mirror every single day because of how awesome they look. Also, it is very long-wearing. I go from an eight-hour workday right to the gym and sweat like crazy...and this stuff doesn't budge! I love it!!" — Carrie E Miller
Get it from Amazon for $4.99 (available in two colors).
2. A cooling blanket brilliantly knit with fibers that *absorb* body heat so you can stay covered without melting this summer. One side is a classic cotton and the other side has an ~Arc-Chill~ fabric that's literally cool to the touch. Ahem, cool.
www.amazon.com
Promising review: " Sorcery! I don't know what makes this blanket work, and I don't care. The fact is that IT DOES!!! I overheat at night a lot because I live in Arizona. I got this blanket at the exact right time, and I'm THRILLED!!!" — Amanda Julia Hess
Get it from Amazon for $35.99+ (available in four sizes and eight colors).
3. And a pair of cooling pillowcases with thousands of dreamy reviews from *previously* sweaty sleepers. If you find yourself waking up to flip to the cool side of the pillow over and over at night, the time has come to get these in your life. Sleep well!
www.amazon.com
Promising review: "Super happy with these pillowcases — both sides are fairly cool, but the cooling side never warms up, which is wonderful in 110-degree California summers. They do not smell (something I worry about with nontraditional linen fabrics). They do tend to get a little wrinkly, but since they zip up, they quickly smooth out." — Tonia
Get them from Amazon for $16.95+ (available in four sizes and seven colors).
4. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream formulated with cupuaçu butter, coconut oil, and açai oil to give your skin a powerful dose of hydration. It'll also wake up and temporarily tighten your skin with the same stuff you use to become awake and alert for the day...caffeine! That's right, our skin enjoys the stuff as much as the rest of us. This smells like vanilla and caramel, which means it's basically a latte for your skin. Delicious.
You can read more about the skincare benefits of caffeine at the Cleveland Clinic.
Promising review: "This stuff is magic. I've tried a lot of products, and this one works the best out of everything I've tried. I love the scent. Sol de Jeneiro makes a body spray of it, and I get lots of compliments every time I wear it." — Stephanie Hooper
Get a 2.5-ounce jar from Amazon for $24.
5. A pair of reusable silicone nipple covers designed for all the summer dresses that feel like they're ruined by a bra. And I mean *summer* dresses — these are totally waterproof, so go ahead and enjoy the heat! There will be no need to ~sweat it~ in these.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
BuzzFeed editor Natalie Brown swears by these pasties! Check out her Nippies review to learn more.
Promising reviews: "These covers are AMAZING! I used them for the first time this weekend during my bachelorette because of how much white I would be wearing, and they were perfect. I usually use petals, but sometimes you can see the shape of the petal, and my nipple still shows, but these covered my boobs perfectly, and you couldn't see them through a see-through white body suit. They lasted through the night when I forgot to take them off before bed and also lasted through tonsssss of sweaty dancing. I never leave reviews, but I had to spend the word. All my girls on the trip were amazed by them and are all ordering now." — Amazon Customer
Get a pair from Amazon for $26.50+ (available in two sizes, with or without lift, and five shades).
6. A breakfast sandwich maker so you can break up with your morning fast food commute and make yourself a 5-star worthy breakfast from the comfort of your counter. Eggcellent.
The surfaces are covered with durable, nonstick coating, and all removable parts are dishwasher-safe.
Promising review:"FAM. I need you to lissssssten. I would give this product 87 stars if I could. You'd think it would be one of those gimmicky kitchen appliances that barely even works. EXCEPT you're wrong. It's amazing. It's quick. Look. Lissssten. You put the ingredients in and about two minutes later your tummy is all like 'oh yesssss.' Basically. Just buy it. Purchase the sammich maker. You're welcome." — Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in five colors).
7. A jealousy-inducing Melissa & Doug ice cream counter — it'll be tons of fun to play ice cream shop with your kids, for sure, but they *always* get to be the ice cream maker! When is it gonna be YOUR turn to scoop the ice cream cones?! It looks so fun!
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
The wooden ice cream counter comes with eight ice cream scoops, six toppings, two cones, cup, scooper, tongs, wooden spoon, reusable menu card, and six pretend dollar bills.
Promising review:" Fun toy set for a creative toddler. My newly-turned-3 year old daughter instantly fell in love with this set! She loves seeing how high she can stack the ice cream cones and pretending to serve Mom & Dad her creations. She's been obsessed with climbing things around the house and we *desperately* needed a distraction to get her to stop, and this is working so far — she plays with this thing for HOURS!" — West Family
Get it from Amazon for $42.76.
8. An exfoliating mitten lots of folks love for preventing ingrown hairs, reducing KP, and smoothing out their skin before applying tanning lotion. I personally love using an exfoliating mitt in the summer after a day covered in sunscreen and sand. There's no better way to get rid of that goop!
www.amazon.com
Several reviewers say they just throw theirs right in the washing machine to clean it! They also make a smaller one designed for the bikini area and a long, narrow back scrubber for hard-to-reach areas.
Promising review:"MAGIC. HOLY CRAP, I LOVE THIS MIT! This cleared up 80% of the 'chicken skin' I have INSTANTLY after one use. Also, it took off way more dead skin than any scrub I've ever used. I never write reviews, so I had to when I got this and loved it." — Cheyanne

Families and other folks who look like *dweebs* slathering on sunscreen are sure to look at your quick application with envy.
Promising review:"My children are fair-skinned and extremely easy to burn. Wearing sunscreen is not optional, but they still fight me every time. Using this product was so fast and easy they didn't even complain!!" — Jeshleigh
Get it from Amazon for $23.98 (available in three colors and two-packs).
10. A bag of citrusy Liquid I.V. Hydration packets, with three times the electrolytes of a typical sports drink, great for packing on long hikes, recovering after a run, and keeping close during long days strolling in the sun. Honestly, you may just wanna keep these in your bag 24/7.
These are also gluten-, soy-, and dairy-free!
Promising review:"No issues with the packaging. I love the lemon-lime taste. It dissolves in your water easily; I only used a straw to stir it up. It was not gritty, and after drinking a glass, I truly felt my headache vanish, which I felt coming on after a heavy workout! My husband uses them for hangover days when you just don't want to feel as if you are nearing death, LOL! Satisfied and definitely 5 stars. Great to have on hand." — Britt
Get a pack of 16 from Amazon for $21.95+ (available in different flavors and pack sizes).
11. A jar of The Pink Stuff (the internet's favorite cleaning product) that'll clean everything from pots and pans to blotches in your bathtub. Move over firefighters, I want a calendar of THIS sexy stuff and its shiny results.
Promising review:"I used this product for my stove because it's one thing I dislike cleaning. I have used different degreaser sprays and they all are so toxic and don't work for me. The Magic Eraser was okay but I used several at a time and I had to scrub so hard. But this product oh my goodness, legit a miracle. It doesn't have any type of smell. I put the paste on a cloth, clean the area then wipe it off with a damp cloth and voilà, magic!" — May
Get it from Amazon for $5.29.
12. An oscillating tower fan with six speeds (we're talkin' up to 24 feet per second velocity), three modes, and a surprisingly quiet design despite its power. If you're intimidated by installing an A.C. in your fourth-floor window...you're gonna be a big fan of this gadget.
www.amazon.com
This includes a remote control and LED lights that turn off in sleep mode. Spiffy!
Promising review: " Cools like magic. Great fan. It's super hot this summer, and I would not survive without it. Several speeds and functions. Quiet. Durable thus far, and it has run 18 hours a day every day since May. I didn't think the remote was a big deal but now I wouldn't want to be without it. Would recommend and buy again." — Javygirl
Get it from Amazon for $79.99+ (available in three colors and two styles).
13. Cerave eye repair cream, which is cooked up with their famous blend of ceramides (a skincare "secret sauce" if you will) and a healthy dose of hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and niacinamide to help tighten and brighten the appearance of skin. If you're revitalizing your skincare routine, add this to the mix and reduce the appearance of dark circles, under-eye puffiness, *and* fine lines. ~Eye~ love to see it.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"What sorcery is this??? Listen I'm 48, and I've bought a lot of face cream 'stuff' over the years. Expensive stuff that did nothing. Finally started using Cerave thanks to my 19-year-old daughter and TikTok, lol. I decided to try the eye cream, and I noticed a difference the morning I started using it. The brightening is apparent. Love this stuff." — Michelle Petrosh
Get it from Amazon for $14.44.
14. Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil with the most impressive review photos I've seen in my little life! Reviewers swear up and down over how well this erases blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Use this as the first step of your cleansing routine, and then just rinse with water. Watch your blackheads disappear so quickly they won't even have a chance to say goodbye. Aww, sad.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
As with all skincare products, if you're acne-prone YMMV, depending on the cause of your acne.
Promising review: "I can't live without this cleansing oil; it's magic in a bottle. this is the only thing that's been able to clear the sebaceous filaments on my nose after consistent use daily!! it also helps the milia/filaments under my eyes! LOVE ITTTTT WHO LET ME LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT DOUBLE CLEANSING AT NIGHT" — Sarah Coleman

16. A pair of toddler training cups with a clever self-sealing ring designed to close when turned over, saving your sofa from spills while giving your kiddo the confidence they need to try out a big-kid cup.
Promising review: " We love these cups. We have been using these cups for four years between our two toddlers. Our son loved having open cups at the table but would inevitably spill when he had one anywhere else. So we got these, and he takes them everywhere. They typically don't leak but will spill if your curious little one rips off the silicone top. These are a must-have in our house. Just now ordered more!" — BNeater
Get a two-pack from Amazon for $8.59.
17. A portable air compressor so small and mighty it seems like something Mary Poppins would whip out of her magic carpet bag. If your tire deflates somewhere inconvenient, this thing is gonna be the roadside nanny you didn't know you needed. It has a real-time pressure monitor to inflate flat car and bike tires on the go. It even has a built-in LED light you can use at night and boasts a one-minute inflation, so you don't have to worry about being stuck on the side of the road too long.
Promising review: "Words cannot describe how much I hate dealing with gas stations — whether it's getting gas, car wash, or air for my tires, I really hate being at the gas station for any length of time. I live in the Pittsburgh area, so the up-and-down weather wreaks havoc on my tire pressure and I am TRULY GRATEFUL to be able to check my tire pressure and fill them up from the comfort of my home. This device couldn't be easier to use, and the fact that you can lock the nozzle in place and fill the air hands-free is wonderful. I never leave reviews, but chef's kiss on this product. Can't recommend enough." — Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $27.99+ (available in two sizes and four colors).
18. A Bio-Oil, beloved by many a skin-having human, made with a powerful blend of moisturizing oils and vitamins that'll aid in fadin' scars you'd rather have bippity-boppity- boop off your body.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:" I am a 70-year-old woman with all the skin issues those years bring: fine lines and wrinkles, skin discoloration, uneven skin tone, and dry patches. This oil is lightweight, absorbs nicely, and has a fairly pleasant smell, although a bit flowery. The main thing is it works. I could tell a difference in my skin the first week of use. My skin is hydrated and glowing, and the overall tone has improved considerably. Believe me when I say I have used a lot of serums, oils, and moisturizers over the years. I wish I had found this oil years ago." — Connie J
Get it from Amazon for $10.06.
19. A TBH *too* nice Tineco 2-in-1 cordless vacuum and mop created to both vacuum and mop at the same time. Unlike our old dummy mops, this robot has a separate tank that stores the dirty water, and it retains 90% of the stuff, so your floors will be clean and dry in just minutes.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
It also self-propels so you just need to steer, no hard pushing!
Promising review: "I confess I can be a lackadaisical housekeeper, which is problematic since my new dog sheds enough in a week for me to build an entirely new dog. What's worse, vacuuming doesn't pick up a lot of his fur. This Tineco is magic, though. Not only does it pick everything up (dust, fur, hair, crumbs, Nature's Miracle, errant Cheerios), but because the wheels are motorized, vacuuming/mopping is a breeze. I get exhausted using my canister vac, but this thing is a blast to use. Here is what I've learned: I always use the 'extra water' feature, which seems to work better. I clean the dirty water holder and parts every time I empty it, and I run the self-clean cycle after every second emptying session. This means I can do my primary bath and my 10x12 TV room before self-cleaning and recharging for a little bit. Or I can do my kitchen, entryway, and hall before self-cleaning, or my living room. In other words, you're not going to do your whole house on one battery charge or without running the self-cleaning feature several times. Of course, the reason you have to run the self-cleaning so often is because this little beauty is picking up So. Much. Stuff. It's magic. If it broke tomorrow (and I don't think it will break for a very long time), I would buy another." — Tsippi
Get it from Amazon for $199.99+ (available in three styles).

Amazon
It comes with six hangers that can hold five garments each, 10 if you double them up!
Promising review:"I use these hangers for shirts and tees. They allow me to easily find any shirt in my closet and take up very little space compared to single shirts on single hangers. I can also group shirts together by style or color on a single swivel hanger. I am now able to hang additional items in my closet without crowding. I bought this in white and the edges are smooth." — CAGH

Promising review:"I have a golden retriever, and the shedding is out of control. My fabric sofa is constantly covered in hair and I finally decided to try this after reading an article about popular TikTok products. The reviews do not lie; this thing works magic!! I wish I had taken a before and after picture because the difference is noticeable. I watched the video tutorial before I tried it to ensure I was using it properly, and everything he says is true: you do really have to put your arm to work with vigorous back-and-forth movement! However, I find it's a great arm workout, and it works wonders." — Joanne Ertel

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.
27. A set of breathable seamless thongs specifically loved by several reviewers who "never wear" thongs and "hate" thongs. Folks say these are comfortable all day *and* claim they're comparable to (and even better than!) brands like Skims and Victoria's Secret. I'm sold. Like, literally. Buying now.
Promising review: "After trying these, the pursuit for the most seamless underwear ended with these, and I came to write that on my way to buy a second pack. I worked at VS for three years, what seems like forever ago, and tried every 'seamless' thong under the sun- at the store and otherwise- all of which rolled, were still visible, or the liner was not cotton, which just feels gross by the end of a workout or the end of the day. These aren't that. They DISAPPEAR under all the workout attire. Anti-camel toe… HELLO?!?! They don't hold sweat. They don't roll. They don't move around. I just had my fourth baby and first C-section a couple of months back, and these are wide enough in the front. What is this panty sorcery? I threw out everything else from anywhere else. Follow the size guide. I washed in warm water upon arrival, even with the red in the pack, and none of the colors bled. I've washed 2x, and they look the same as when I first opened the box. They're wildly comfortable for a thong from someone who despises every thong and even other styles of underwear I've ever tried. Picky lady problems, the list went on. Always something wrong about them on my body. NOT THESE! What!?!! I work out in these, run errands, housework ahhhh — they're my new go-to that I ditched everything else. Comfy, sexy, stretchy, actually so seamless that they don't exist under clothing, and a fantastic deal… It's sorcery, I'm convinced." — Ebony
Get a set of six from Amazon for $24+ (available in women's sizes XS–4X and 10 color packs).
28. COSRX's Snail Mucin Repairing Essence formulated with a shocking (aaand effective) 96% snail sludge that's harvested in a *100%* ethical and environmentally friendly way. Don't be ~sluggish~ about this stuff, reviewers say it's great for adding hydration and giving your skin a lil' life!
Here's what BuzzFeed shopping writer Emma Lord has to say:
" I use this on my skin and definitely have noticed results! While it didn't help completely kick my stubborn pre-period hormonal acne, it has done *wonders* with reducing redness on my face, particularly around my nose, and in dealing with my pores. Since I started using it, my primer and foundation goes on a whole lot smoother, and I'm struggling a whole lot less to cover my pores. After using it a few weeks, I read the advice of one reviewer to put this on when your face is slightly moist from washing, rub it in, let it dry, and then put your moisturizer on top of it — I've found that it's what got me the best results!"
Get it from Amazon for $18.95.
29. A bottle of Folex Instant Carpet Stain Remover — this water-based cleaning spray is designed to dissolve ink, grease, dirt, pet stains, food, coffee, and even wine. So go ahead, get messy.
www.amazon.com
Check out this TikTok of the Folex Carpet Spot Remover to see it in action!
Promising review: 'There are products that you love and buy again. And then there are products that you love and can't live without. And then above that, are a few select products that you revere and hold with the highest honor. Folex is that product. I have used Folex for years and it works wonders on everything from spilt coffee, wine, and dog messes, without any chemical smells or residue. But my love for Folex grew so much deeper when I dropped a 32-ounce jar of salsa down the stairs. My husband took one look and declared that the stairs were ruined and would need to be replaced. I took a look, grabbed the Folex and said, 'We've got this.' If you have children, pets or are very clumsy with your canned goods, you need this bulk-size jug in your arsenal of cleaning supplies.' — Carobnty

Kitsch is a woman-owned accessory brand that was founded in 2010. They sell a wide variety of beauty products and hair accessories for all hair types.
Promising review:"I ordered this because I was sick of keeping a towel on my head for so long while my hair dried, and if I didn't have a towel, my shirt was soaking wet from my hair after a shower. For reference, I had very long, thick hair and it takes a while to air-dry — and I'm so happy I found this scrunchie! It's a lot bigger in person than it looks in the image, which is great because it covers more of your hair to help dry it. No more heavy towels on my head or tight towel wraps." — Meghan

Promising review: "I have four expensive fabric-covered chairs in my kitchen dining area that were long overdue to be cleaned and were so heavily soiled that I wasn't sure even a good cleaning would help. I researched all the available portable cleaning machines and this seemed to be the one with the best ratings and recommendations. I was amazed at the results when I used it on the chairs. Years of ground-in dirt and grime came out easily, and when I looked at the solution that was vacuumed out it was the color of dark chocolate. I did a second cleaning and then used a spray bottle to apply clean water to rinse. Honestly, the chairs looked so good even my son was so impressed he bought one. I want to add that I am very close to eighty. and I had no problems operating it. I highly recommend it, and I rate it five stars plus!" — Kathleen Petro

I wanted to give it a go because my Keurig isn't that old and I didn't think it would do anything. IT WORKS SO WELL! My Keurig wasn't as nasty as some I've seen, lucky. Lots of reviewer pets love being brushed by it too!
Promising review: "I've spent hundreds of dollars on toys, treats, houses, scratchers, etc for my cats. This is, hands-down, not even close, the best money I've ever spent! I got so much fur off them, and they loved it! They are looking so sleek and shiny, and they are rolling around like kittens they feel so fresh and happy. My cats are still young (all ages four and under) so they were pretty well groomed to begin with. I couldn't believe how many knots and snags were hiding in their fur. The whole time I was brushing them, they were purring and rubbing all over me, trying to get more. The self-cleaning feature is so easy!! A click of a button, and all the hair falls off. The brush itself is bigger than what I anticipated. I thought my cats would be afraid of it, but once they figured out what was happening, they weren't at all. I got the original brush, which I thought would probably feel good (like a good back scratch!) And I was right. They loved it." — Samantha

How Mike Flanagan Will Make ‘Carrie' Feel Like a New Story

Horror and literature fans alike will be excited to hear that seasoned Stephen King cinematic universe storyteller Mike Flanagan has something new planned for his Carrie adaptation. The eight episode mini-series proposed by Amazon was an idea Flanagan initially balked at. He told Variety, 'I initially thought, 'Why? It's been done.' You can't blame him for hesitating; the book has already been adapted several times. But after giving it considerable thought, he said, 'I found an answer to that question, and it made me very excited.' He then turned to someone who obviously needed to be part of the discussion: famed horror author Stephen King, who Flanagan has had a fruitful working relationship with—including on his current feature The Life of Chuck. 'But when I went to Steve, his answer was 'Why?' His first response was, 'Leave her alone. She's been through enough.' But it's that thing where the more information I could share, and sending him the bible and the plan for the show, he could see the thing we were trying to do that was new.' Flanagan explained. 'Then he said without giving away too much, 'Ohh, now I'm interested, just as a fan. I'm excited to see where this goes.' Once he said yes, then we were off, because if Steve had said no, I wouldn't do it. So the relationship has evolved, but he's always remained incredibly respectful of separating the book and the movie.' The Doctor Sleep filmmaker seeks to modernize the narrative we know about Carrie's struggle to fit in, not just at school but at home. How that would transform in the digital age informed his take. 'The thing I would say is the original story is half a century old and it's wonderful. Its themes were about youth and bullying and the consequences of that. I believe that in today's modern world, the power of what it means to be a bully, the breadth of that and the impact of bullying, have changed a lot,' he said. 'The central tenets are still the same, but it's about much more than Carrie White,' Flanagan teased, hinting that while other on-screen adaptations centered on Carrie, he plans on deeper explorations of the other characters and world around her as well. 'I can't really talk about what we're doing, I can only really talk about what we're not doing. We're not retelling the story as it's been told, and we're not making a show about telekinesis. It's in there, but that's not what it's about,' he said, ruling out about leaning too much into Carrie's supernatural inclinations. 'There's a version of it where Carrie White carries a tragic superhero origin story that goes horribly wrong. I feel like they've done that, too.' This new version of the story will seemingly tie into how social structures have become more toxic, in the age of online platforms becoming places of radicalization even when kids leave schools. 'We're focused way more on the destruction of a community through these very modern tools. What happens in a world where the internet has created an environment of perceived anonymity? Carrie White in the locker room in every iteration is a horrifying scene,' he said. 'Carrie White in the locker room when people have phones in their hands is a whole different thing.' That definitely brings to mind contemporary youth-centered dramas such as Adolescence but by way of Stephen King Horror—and we can't wait to see what Flanagan comes up with.
