Philips 7000, i9000 and i9000 Prestige Ultra electric shavers launched in India
The Philips i9000 and i9000 Prestige Ultra electric shavers are equipped with advanced features to offer a top-tier shaving experience. Both models use the Patented Triple Action Lift and Cut System, which lifts and cuts hair precisely at skin level for a smooth, long-lasting finish, claims the company. They also feature Dual Steel Precision Blades in the i9000 and NanoTech Dual Precision Blades in the i9000 Prestige Ultra. These blades perform up to 7-8 million cutting motions per minute, which ensures efficiency across various beard lengths, whether it's a 1-day, 3-day, or 7-day beard. The Power Adapt Sensor, which detects hair density 500 times per second, adjusts the cutting power automatically to deliver the best shave. Additionally, the models include Motion Control and Active Pressure & Motion Guidance systems to refine the shaving technique and ensure a skin-friendly, smooth result.

iPhone 17 Pro's new camera design could also boost cellular performance, lower latency: Here's what we know
Apple's iPhone 17 series is just weeks away from its debut, and excitement about the new flagship launches is palpable. Ahead of the launch, a new leak has revealed that Apple's design change for the iPhone 17 Pro could help the Cupertino-based tech giant reposition antennas on the two models, which could in turn lead to better cellular performance compared to older iPhones. We have been hearing for months now that Apple will ditch its square-ish camera module on the iPhone 16 Pro in favour of a rectangular camera island that will encompass the entire top half of the device. However, a new leak by tipster Majin Bu reveals that the company is also looking to reposition the antennas around the rear camera module. This approach is expected to shield the antennas from interference and improve performance in congested environments, potentially leading to a more stable connection while travelling. The idea appears to take inspiration from the Apple Watch Ultra, where antennas are integrated strategically to maximise reception and signal stability. On current iPhones, Apple places its antennas around the side edges. While the new change in antenna positioning may be coming to iPhone 17 Pro models, it is not yet clear if the same will apply to the iPhone 17 Air and the standard iPhone 17. Bu states that repositioning the antennas will lead to the iPhone 17 Pro models offering enhanced 5G mmWave performance, reduced latency, improved efficiency, and more optimised internal space for components like the battery and thermal systems. For context, the current iPhone models place antennas along the chassis edges, with visible breaks in the frame. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to retain the same 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch sizes as last year, but the tech giant could ship them with an anti-reflective display coating similar to the one seen on Samsung's Galaxy devices. The phones could come powered by the latest A19 Pro chipset with 12GB of RAM, up from the 8GB RAM in earlier models. As for design, the iPhone 17 Pro models could ditch the titanium frame in favour of an aluminium one. The new devices are likely to have an aluminium frame with the back featuring a half-aluminium, half-glass finish. Apart from helping with durability, the new design would still allow wireless charging thanks to the glass section.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE may launch in September: Exynos chip, Gemini expected
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone as early as next month. According to 9to5Google, the surfaced image suggests that the phone could be a well-balanced mid-range device, offering a middle ground between cost and performance compared to the Galaxy S25 Plus. Unlike earlier FE models that were overshadowed by the 'Plus' versions, the S25 FE seems to be designed to offer a better mix of price, performance, and features. Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE: What to expect According to the latest images surfaced, it reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S24FE will feature Samsung's classic design with a large display, rounded corners, and a triple-lens rear camera setup. Compared to the Galaxy S24 FE, there are notable upgrades, including slimmer bezels around the 6.7-inch 1080p screen, which will likely give it a more premium look than previous models. The images appear to be a 'Jet Black' variant, but Samsung may plan for the 'Icy Blue,' variant, along with navy and white colour options. The Galaxy S25 FE may look more premium, but not all its specifications have been upgraded. Reports suggest that it will use the Exynos 2400e chip, the same chip that runs the Galaxy S24 and S24+, with a slightly slower speed. However, the phone is expected to support most of the Galaxy AI features it debuted with One UI 8. It is expected to come with 128GB or 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The camera configuration will include a 50MP main sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide shooter and an 8MP 3x telephoto, which remains the same as last year's model. The S25 FE may include a larger 4900mAh battery with support for 45W charging. As per our previous reports, the smartphone could feature a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability. Samsung may switch to Armor Aluminium for the frame, offering a more premium in-hand feel and improved durability. The device is also said to be slimmer and lighter, coming in at 7.4mm thick and weighing 190g, down from 8.0mm and 213g on the previous model. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: Expected specifications
