This will be the first lead TV role of Minetree's career. She has previously appeared on shows like 'Law & Order: SVU' and in TV movies such as 'The Murdaugh Murders,' 'Crowdsource Murder,' and 'The Paramedic Who Stalked Me.'
'Elle' was originally greenlit at Amazon back in May 2024.

Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, and Lauren Kisilevsky executive produce via Hello Sunshine along with Marc Platt. Amazon MGM Studios will produce.
The first 'Legally Blonde' film was a box office success, grossing over $140 million worldwide following its release in 2001.
The sequel 'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde' was released in 2003. A direct-to-video third film came out in 2009, though Witherspoon did not star but did serve as a producer.
A stage musical based on the first movie debuted on Broadway in 2007, receiving multiple Tony and Drama Desk nominations.

Mike Flanagan's "Carrie" TV Series Cast Revealed

Yara Sameh Mike Flanagan's Amazon Prime Video series adaptation of 'Carrie' has rounded out its main cast. Summer Howell (Curse of Chucky), who was reported to be in talks back in April, will play the titular horror teen Carrie White. Matthew Lillard (Five Nights at Freddy's) was also previously reported to be cycling the role of Principal Grayle in May and has now closed on the role. The new cast also includes Samantha Sloyan (The Fall of the House of Usher) as Carrie's mom, Margaret White, Alison Thornton (Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce) as Chris Hargensen, Thalia Dudek (The Running Man) as Emaline, Siena Agudong (Sidelined: The QB and Me) as Sue Snell, Amber Midthunder (FX's Legion) as Miss Desjardin, Josie Totah (AppleTV+'s The Buccaneers) as Tina, Arthur Conti (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) as Billy, and Joel Oulette (Sullivan's Crossing) as Tommy. The series was first reported to be in development in October 2024. Amazon has ordered eight episodes, with production slated to begin this summer in Vancouver. Flanagan, a modern horror maestro, is set as executive producer, showrunner, writer, and will direct select episodes of the series. Trevor Macy will executive produce. Amazon MGM Studios will produce. Based on Stephen King's debut novel of the same name, the series is described as a 'bold and timely reimagining of the story of misfit high-schooler Carrie White (Howell), who has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother. After her father's sudden and untimely death, Carrie finds herself contending with the alien landscape of public high school, a bullying scandal that shatters her community, and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.' King's novel has been previously adapted for the big screen, with Sissy Spacek playing Carrie in the 1976 Brian De Palma movie "Carrie", and Chloë Grace Moretz in the 2013 remake. The role marks the latest collaboration between Sloyan and Flanagan, as she has previously starred in his shows 'The Haunting of Hill House,' 'The Fall of the House of Usher,' 'The Midnight Club,' and 'Midnight Mass.' Sloyan also appeared in Flangan's 2016 film 'Hush.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks

The couple was first linked in October 2022 after being spotted together in New York City. Back in April, Kirby posted a slew of romantic photos on Instagram of the pair vacationing in the West Indies.
