Wang & Lee Group announced it has been awarded a $71M contract by NQ Marble Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based marble quarrying enterprise, to exclusively undertake (i) the exploration and quarrying of natural marble and (ii) the design and implementation of a solar battery crypto farm across multiple sites in Queensland, Australia. A non-refundable deposit of $1M has been paid by NQ Marble to WLGS. This groundbreaking initiative will optimize 25.42 km of land by integrating marble production with renewable energy generation, capitalizing on Queensland's world-class solar resources and accelerating Australia's transition to sustainable industrial practices. This pioneering project taps into Australia's underutilized solar resources, leveraging average annual solar irradiance of 5.5-6.0 kWh/m/day-exceeding regions like Japan (3.5-4.0 kWh/m/day) and Germany (2.8-3.2 kWh/m/day).

McCraney Property Co. is moving closer to starting its long-awaited industrial park on Garrison Road in west Charlotte. The Florida-based developer plans to start construction later this summer on a new road at and around the project site, McCraney's Massie Flippin said. The road will connect West Boulevard to Dixie River Road, he said. It will pave the way for the Logistics 485 at The River District industrial park. McCraney has long planned a five-building, 1.2 million-square-foot industrial park at the approximately 150-acre site on Garrison Road. According to a , the city will no longer be hosting the Hot Air Balloon and Kite Festival, which has been held in June for the past two years. It has been such a joy to see our community come together and make lasting memories at this special event,' the chamber of commerce said. The post said the event was canceled due to staffing limitations and a lack of resources. 'This was not an easy decision, and we truly appreciate your understanding and continued support and we focus on other ways to serve and celebrate our community,' the chamber said on Facebook.
