According to Joe Tipton at On3, former four-star recruit Dominick Harris announced his commitment to Loyola Chicago.
This will be Harris' fourth stop, having previously played for Gonzaga, LMU and UCLA.
Harris originally committed to play for Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs, rated as a four-star recruit while being ranked as the No. 10 combo guard and the No. 74 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.
Last season with the UCLA Bruins, Harris posted 1.1 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game. Harris played just 7.3 minutes per game in his first season at UCLA.
Before that, Harris played one season at LMU, where he averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.

Harris will now play for Drew Valentine at Loyola Chicago, one of the most underrated college basketball programs in the country.
The Ramblers finished its most recent season with 25-12 record.
Since taking over as the head coach at Loyola Chicago in 2021, Valentine has led the Ramblers to an MVC Tournament title in 2022 and the Atlantic 10 regular season title in 2024.
The former four-star will now have another chance to flourish under Drew Valentine and his staff at Loyola Chicago.

Browns LB Carson Schwesinger proves to be a star in the making in win vs. Panthers

It's nothing new for the 33rd overall pick, the first pick of the second round of the NFL draft, to make an immediate impact at the NFL level. And that looks to be the case for Cleveland Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger. The rookie linebacker, coming out of a standout season at UCLA, racked up 90 solo tackles, nine tackles for loss, four sacks, and two interceptions in 2025. He then went to the NFL Scouting Combine and blew the roof off of Lucas Oil Stadium with some explosive jumps and agility drills. This led to him becoming the very first pick of the second day of the 2025 NFL draft. However, the Browns have had to put more on his plate right away than initially thought. Not only is Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah out for the season (and perhaps beyond), but veteran linebacker Jordan Hicks also surprised the team with his retirement after 10 years in the NFL. Schwesinger is now penned into the starting MIKE linebacker role from Day 1 as a result. And in his NFL preseason debut against the Carolina Panthers, he did not disappoint. Schwesinger played only 13 total snaps with the starters to open the game, but he was flying all around the field and made his presence felt. In his limited sample size, Schwesinger still racked up the highest PFF grade of any Browns defender, totaling six tackles, four run stops, and one hit on the quarterback on just two defensive drives. This is just the beginning. However, in a season where the Browns will put a lot on the plates of their rookies, landing a star in the middle of their defense will give them a foundational piece moving forward. If Schwesinger keeps up the pace, then he will not only solidify himself as one of the top young linebackers in the NFL, but as a budding star as well. 49ers signing pair of veteran pass rushers after successful workouts

The San Francisco 49ers continue to struggle to keep their players on the field, as they placed defensive end Bradlee Anae on injured reserve on Wednesday, which will end his 2025 season before it even begins. With a hole in the edge defender room, the 49ers held workouts on Wednesday for a trio of veterans - Keshawn Banks, William Bradley-King and Demone Harris. According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, San Francisco is signing Bradley-King and Harris. Bradley-King, 27, played collegiately at Arkansas State from 2016-19, earning All-Sun Belt honors twice before transferring to Baylor for his final season. The Washington Commanders (then Football Team) took him in the seventh round (No. 240 overall) of the 2021 NFL draft. He spent parts of three seasons in Washington, two with the New England Patriots and one with the Miami Dolphins, recording seven tackles and a half-sack in four career games (all with Washington). Harris, 29, spent his college career at Buffalo from 2013-17, earning All-Mac honors once. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and has since spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs (winning a Super Bowl), Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons. In 23 career games, he's recorded 22 tackles (three for a loss), four quarterback hits and two passes defensed. With wide receiver Malik Turner taking Anae's spot on the roster, the 49ers will have to make two more moves before they can officially bring in Bradley-King and Harris. Before these two transactions, their edge defender group consists of Nick Bosa, Mykel Williams, Yetur Gross-Matos, Bryce Huff, Robert Beal, Sam Okuayinonu, Jonathan Garvin, Trevis Gipson and Jaylon Allen. USC safety Kamari Ramsey named to Bednarik Award watch list

Watch list season continues to roll on in college football. With it, USC players continue to earn preseason accolades. This week, safety Kamari Ramsey became the latest Trojan to earn preseason recognition when he was named to the Bednarik Award watch list. Ramsey will be entering his second season with the Trojans. After spending the first two years of his college football career at crosstown rival UCLA, he transferred to USC prior to last season, following defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn. Last year, Ramsey put up 60 total tackles, five passes defended, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception. With another year of working together with Lynn, the safety will be looking to do even bigger things in 2025. The Chuck Bednarik Award has been presented annually since 1995 to the best defensive player in college football. In the award's 30 years of existence, just one USC players continue has taken home the honor: linebacker Rey Maualuga in 2008. This fall, Ramsey will look to become the second Trojans to do so.
