Part of Depot Road closing next week as project continues
(WJET/WFXP)– As work progresses on the Depot Road Improvement Project in Harborcreek Township, part of the road is set to close, limiting access to Interstate 90.
The closure is set to go into place, weather permitting, on Monday, June 9, between the on and off ramps of I-90 and is expected to last about one month.
Depot Road project moving into next phase, traffic shifts coming
I-90 and Route 430 (Station Road), and Route 89 and I-90 will be used as detours. Davison Road will also remain closed.
PennDOT said the following access points on and off of I-90 will be maintained:
Northbound traffic on Depot Road will have access to the I-90 eastbound on-ramp.
Southbound traffic on Depot Road will have access to the I-90 westbound on-ramp.
Interstate 90 westbound can exit to head northbound on Depot Road.
Interstate 90 eastbound can exit to head southbound on Depot Road.

The work comes as part of phase three of four of the $13.4 million project to upgrade the 1.3-mile stretch of Depot Road.

17-year-old in serious condition after two-car crash
IRON COUNTY, Utah () — A 17-year-old boy is in serious condition after two cars collided with each other on Highway 56 in Iron County. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the boy was driving a Ford Focus and turning left to go eastbound on State Route 56 near mile post 54 when troopers say he pulled out in front of another vehicle going westbound. Uniontown Driver License Center to close for much of next week
The Uniontown Driver License Center will be closed for renovations during much of next week. Located at 855 North Gallatin Ave., the center will be closed from Tuesday to Saturday so renovation work can be completed, PennDOT officials say. It will reopen as normal on June 17. 'As part of the Shapiro Administration's commitment to enhancing customer experience, we're making important upgrades to our Uniontown location,' said Kara Templeton, PennDOT driver and vehicle services deputy secretary. 'While we understand the renovations may cause a temporary inconvenience, we're expanding services at our Waynesburg center to ensure uninterrupted access to driver licensing services.' PennDOT's Uniontown employees will be temporarily assigned to the Waynesburg Driver License Center at 1164 Willow Drive, officials say. During renovations, the Waynesburg center will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Photo services will be available throughout that period. Deputies: Holland Township rear-end crash sends 1 to hospital
HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say a woman was hospitalized Friday after a rear-end crash in Holland Township. It happened just after 11:40 a.m. on Riley Street near 100th Avenue, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. A 44-year-old woman was heading east in a white Jeep, according to the sheriff's office. At the same time, two cars were stopped on Riley at a traffic signal. Deputies say the woman rear-ended the two stopped cars, then went off the road, through a fence and into the backyard of a nearby home. The woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to the sheriff's office. Other people suffered minor injuries.
