Pinkvilla, in a report, revealed that the Border 2 team will commence their promotional campaigns with an almost minute-long announcement video. A source close to the development shared with the portal, 'Anurag Singh has cut a 1-minute announcement video with Sunny Deol, which encapsulates the India–Pakistan rivalry and the spirit of Border 2. With the teaser, the makers plan to reannounce and confirm the Republic Day 2026 release date. The announcement teaser drops on August 15, 2025."
While the announcement teaser will have a digital launch, it is said to be attached with War 2 in multiplex chains. 'The producers have done a back-end deal with the national multiplex chains to screen the Border 2 teaser with War 2, and everyone has willingly agreed to do the same," the source added.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film builds on the legacy of the 1997 classic while crafting its own identity through a novel narrative approach. The team has been rigorously working on the film. It will release in January 2026 and, as per recent reports, has cast Medha Rana as the female protagonist opposite Varun Dhawan.

‘Not about who will win': Nani urges fans to celebrate both Coolie and War 2, says he is excited for Nagarjuna's role
This Thursday will ring in a massive box office clash with two big-budget films releasing on the same date. Rajinikanth's Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and War 2, headlined by Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, are set for release on August 14. Ahead of the release, actor Nani has shared a note to express that it is not about which film will win over the other in terms of box office but 'cinema winning' in the end. Coolie and War 2 are both releasing in theatres on August 14. 'He's not studying at all...': Sachin Tendulkar's humorous response to Air Hostess as she mistook Indian cricketer for Arjun

Anyone who played alongside him especially the 2000 batch that debuted under Sourav Ganguly will vouch for it. Stories of Tendulkar teasing his teammates have become legendary. Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Virender Sehwag all experienced it firsthand, but none of their encounters compare to what Suresh Raina went through. From 2006 until the Master Blaster's retirement, Raina and Tendulkar were teammates. Despite all the ups and downs, Raina vividly recalls this one incident on a plane. They were also involved in some well-known victories and heartbreaks at the same time. Raina recalled the time Tendulkar chose to amuse himself at his expense while they were traveling to a city to play a match. (Sachin) paaji eventually clarified it to air hostess saying, 'He's a part of the Indian cricket team, he is Suresh Raina, not my son'. Paaji loved playing such big pranks sometimes.' Raina mentioned. Sachin Tendulkar and Suresh Raina have shared some incredible batting partnership There have been some amazing batting partnership between Raina and Tendulkar, but none more well-known than their 256-run partnership in the same game at Colombo. India reached a massive first-innings total of 707 thanks to 203 runs from Tendulkar and 120 from Raina. The game ended in a draw.
