With Sinner and Alcaraz sharing the other three Grand Slams - Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon - all eyes will be on the duo as many expect them to dominate once again like they have done in 2025. The women's field looks incredible too with No. 3 Iga Swiatek entering the tournament with six major titles to her name.
Among the list of players finalised so far, the United States lead with 30 representatives (16 women and 14 men) earning direct entry Us Open 2025. Nine players will enter US Open 2025 main draw using special or protected rankings. They will be joined by 16 wild card entries (8 each in men's and women's singles) and 32 qualifiers (16 men and 16 women).
The US Open Qualifying Tournament will played from August 18 and will go on till August 21. Interestingly, the mixed doubles championship at US Open 2025 will played on August 19 and 20, unlike during the main tournament. The decision to hold the mixed doubles during the qualifying was taken to draw more top names in the competition.

The US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, will feature 16 star-studded pairs all vying for US$ 1 million in prize money. Alcaraz will be pairing up with Emma Raducanu, while Sinner has entered with Emma Navarro. Swiatek will double up with Casper Ruud, while Novak Djokovic will come together with fellow Serbian Olga Danilovic and Venus Williams will compete with Reilly Opelka. On top of that, Ben Shelton will pair with world doubles No. 1 Taylor Townsend and the defending US Open Mixed Doubles Champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will compete to defend their title.

US Open: Venus Williams continues her comeback, receives singles main draw wildcard to feature at the 2025 edition
Two-time U.S. Open singles champion Venus Williams has received a wildcard entry into this year's tournament, organisers said on Wednesday, as the 45-year-old American continues her age-defying return to the court. She last played in the U.S. Open singles main draw in 2023, losing in the first round to Belgian Greet Minnen. The seven-time Grand Slam singles champion had also received a wild-card entry with Reilly Opelka to play mixed doubles beginning Aug. 19. Williams has won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles with her sister Serena and another two in mixed doubles. Along with Williams, fellow Americans Clervie Ngounoue, Julieta Pareja, Caty McNally, Valerie Glozman and Alyssa Ahn are also handed singles main draw wild cards. On the men's side, plenty of American names have been handed wildcards. Brandon Holt, Nishesh Basavareddy, Tristan Boyer, Emilio Nava, Stefan Dostanic and Darwin Blanch are the home players to get entry into the main draw, along with France's Valentin Royer and Australian Tristan Schoolkate. The legendary elder Williams' sister became the oldest player to win a WTA singles match since 2004 when she beat Peyton Stearns at last month's Washington Open after a 16-month absence from competitive tennis. She later lost to Jessica Bouzas Maneiro of Spain 6-4, 6-4 in the first round of the Cincinnati Open. 'Just coming back, not everything's going to be perfect,' Williams had said then. 'From DC, I took a lot of things physically. I played four matches in four days. So in that last week, I really worked on the physical side. And, so after this match, I felt great and that's a plus.' The 51st-ranked Bouzas Maneiro, who wasn't born when Williams won her first four Grand Slam titles, advanced to her first WTA 1000 quarterfinal match last week in Montreal. It was their first meeting. 'She's a legend,' Bouzas Maneiro said. 'This was a privilege. I tried to do my best on court and enjoy every moment. It's an honor to play against her. Two-time former champion Venus Williams is set to make her 25th US Open appearance after receiving a wild card into the women's singles. The 45-year-old American recently returned from a 16-month layoff after a serious health scare and was among eight women's wild card recipients named on Wednesday by tournament organisers. Seven-time Grand Slam singles champion Williams will become the oldest singles entrant at the US Open since Renee Richards, who was 47 in 1981. Williams underwent surgery last year to remove uterine fibroids and missed most of the season. She made her comeback last month and became the oldest WTA match winner since Martina Navratilova at the age of 47 at Wimbledon in 2004, beating Peyton Stearns in the first round of the DC Open. Williams, the 2000 Sydney Olympic singles champion, has also won five Wimbledon singles titles to go along with her 2000 and 2001 US Open triumphs.
