Regarding 'Skip DEI and Deploy 'Y'all'' (Letters, June 9): A training video on my first day as an associate at Bloomingdale's included instructions on how to say goodbye to customers. To my mind, there was only one way: 'Y'all come back, hear.' The next day I finished my first sale and said exactly that to the woman before me. Her smile lit up the store—and little wonder why. She was from North Carolina and has since become one of my best customers.
