Meghan Trainor unrecognisable after weight loss transformation sparks huge fan debate
Meghan Trainor is unrecognisable according to fans after losing 60 pounds but the singer has now sparked fury after changing the lyrics to her body positive 'All About That Bass' track
Meghan Trainor's remarkable weight loss transformation has sparked controversy online after the star edited the lyrics to her 2014 body positive hit 'All About That Bass' in a recent performance to reflect the changes she has made to her body. The 31-year-old American singer rose to fame in 2014, thanks to her hit track that promotes body empowerment and confidence.
However, the mum-of-two now looks very different to the size she once was when she released the popular single. A clip of the slimmed down star singing at the iHeartRadio KIIS-FM Wango Tango gig, in Southern California on Monday May 10, has now gone viral as she noticeably changed the famous lyrics to her most popular tune.
Meghan looked gorgeous in a pink diamante matching two piece set, having recently revealed that she has lost a whopping 60kg on her Mounjaro weight loss journey. However, she has sparked a fierce debate after the singer could be heard singing a different line in the first verse of the song to directly address her new body size and recent boob job.
While the original lyric is: 'Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two', the singer could be heard changing it to: 'Yeah, it's pretty clear, I got some new boobs.'
And it's safe to say her fans are not happy about it. Meghan has openly admitted to using type 2 diabetes drug brand, Mounjaro to achieve her impressive weight loss goal.
Fans raced to the comment section to have their say on the matter as the top comment, which has received over 239k likes, reads: "Big is beautiful until you're rich enough to change it" - story of the entertainment industry."
Another social media user remarked: "I feel she just morally shouldn't perform this song anymore." A third person commented: "Her removing "I ain't no size 2" is insane."
A fourth slammed the lyric change: "I remember when she called out skinny b**ches in this song."
Somebody else questioned: "Is she qualified to sing this song anymore?"
Another bluntly wrote: "There's no bass left. Ozempic took it all."
Despite the large amount of criticism, Meghan's most loyal fans have backed her decision as one wrote: "Hating her for being big. Now hating her for being skinny! This just proves you can never fit society's prosomas! So do what you want, for you!"
Someone else echoed: "God forbid a woman goes on a fitness journey to feel better about her body."
A third chimed in: "She lost the bass. But she looks healthy and happy in her own skin and that is ALLLL that matters. Perioddd."
Last month, Meghan received Billboard's Women in Music Hitmaker award and took to Instagram to upload some snaps from the glamorous night.
In her post, she gave a special 'shoutout' to Mounjarno as she wrote: "No, I don't look like I did 10 years ago. I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,' Meghan.
"I've worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my [second] pregnancy. And I'm so glad I did because I feel great."
The I Made You Look also underwent a breast augmentation and lift earlier this year after revealing her plans to get the surgery done following the birth of two her children.
She told People: "I think I was born with saggy boobs. I swear, they were always looking at the ground. So this is a big deal for me. I'm getting a boob job. I'm getting a lift."
She added: "Listen, these don't make milk. So when I have more children, these don't make milk anyways. So it's time to lift my boobs, I'm so excited."
Trainor previously told her fans on Instagram: "I've always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done, because they were never even, were always sagging my whole life."

Meghan's husband, Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara, who she shares her two sons Barry and Bruce with, has also taken the type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro to aid in his weight loss journey.
During an episode of the couple's Workin' On It podcast, the Spy Kids actor explained: "We did 75 Hard after our son Riley was born and, man, did we crush."
Meghan chimed in: "Then, we heard more and more of our friends - and even our doctors - were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.' She eventually decided to try Mounjaro due to there being less side effects."

The £30 Ozempic swimsuit that takes 10lbs off your tummy – here one woman tries it
Can one swimsuit really help you drop a dress size? TikTok users think they've found one which does just that... SWIM WIN The £30 Ozempic swimsuit that takes 10lbs off your tummy – here one woman tries it Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IF the thought of wriggling back into your swimsuit fills you with dread, you're far from alone. According to new research from lingerie and swimwear brand Pour Moi, only seven per cent of women feel fully fabulous stepping out in their cossies. Just seven. 5 I recruited size 14, mum-of-one Michelle Court to test out this miracle swimsuit (pictured in her normal swimsuit) Credit: David Cummings 5 Available for £27.99 on Amazon in six different colours, the cossie completely showcased Michelle's figure Credit: David Cummings The rest of us? We're artfully draped in sarongs, in tent shaped cover-ups or doing that frantic towel dance by the pool in a bid to stay incognito. Because let's be honest, hauling last summer's swimwear from the bottom drawer rarely feels good. That magical tummy control? Stretched beyond salvation. The 'statement colour'? More like a fading memory, now tinged with SPF smears and fake tan mishaps. Then comes the dreaded try-on. You catch a glimpse in the mirror and bam - any flicker of body confidence evaporates faster than your iced rosé in a midday heatwave. But here's the thing, it's not just you. We've all had the mirror moment. We've all sworn under our breath in badly lit changing rooms. And we've all wished, more than once, that swimwear came with built-in courage. But those dreams could become a reality. Whilst on the search for swimwear this year, I turned my attention to TikTok which, like it or not, is a good barometer for consumer style reviews. The first one I stumbled-scrolled upon was a brand called Cupshe. A top selling American swimwear brand that does ship to the UK and is available on Amazon. So far, so good. Primark drops brand new collection of bikinis in gingham, floral and colour block designs - and they'll set you back just £2.50 per piece Cupshe is a brand that on the surface sounds like every other swimwear brand with words like 'empower', 'inspire' and 'support'. But the brand's Slim & Sculpt swimsuit caught my eye. A viral clip racking up millions of views featuring three women, all different in shapes and sizes, slip into the same figure-loving cossie. The secret? A corset-style lace-up back that cinches in all the right places, giving each of them an envy-inducing hourglass shape. In the comments section one fan of the swimwear gushed: 'These make you feel SO confident – and that speaks volumes!' Another said: 'Just got mine and I can't believe how good it looks.' I'm immediately sold - but I need to see it in the flesh. Available for £27.99 on Amazon in six different colours, I recruited size 14, make-up artist and mum-of-one Michelle Court, 41, from Rochford, Essex, to test out this miracle swimsuit. 'Every time it comes to going on holiday I get a new cossie,' says Michelle. 'I used to be a bikini Queen and never think of pulling on a one-piece, but after a baby my confidence to show off my body has dwindled. 'These days I love a swimsuit for holding everything in. 'When I'm looking for my new holiday swimsuit I always try to hunt for one with a really good shape that flatters my figure, doesn't dig in too much and one that keeps everything in its place.' Medium is the corresponding Cupshe size for Michelle's UK dress size but out of the packet, the cossie looks rather small. We both agree it might be a struggle to get it on. But two minutes later Michelle is out of the dressing room in the red lycra number and looks like she's ready to run in slow motion down the beach. So far, so Baywatch. 5 The secret? A corset-style lace-up back that cinches in all the right places Credit: David Cummings 5 Michelle felt like the Special K lady Credit: David Cummings 5 Cupshe is a top-selling American swimwear brand - and is popular on TikTok Credit: tiktok@ 'I look like the Special K Lady,' says Michelle. 'It's like I've been on weight loss injections!' She was right, this swimsuit completely showcased her figure - and not a fat jab in sight. I was dubious as to whether swimwear can really be that transformative but from seeing Michelle in a thousand-wash beige costume that had zero bust support or elasticity, the change was undeniable. She said: 'It really does hold you in, like, cinches in everywhere - not like that old one from the loft.' 'Its got amazing bust support, it feels like someone has just come in behind me and lifted me - and lifted everything. 'I feel way more confident than I do in my usual costumes.' Made from 92 per cent polyester and 8 per cent Spandex the swimming costume does the nipping and tucking with its fabric, but the real magic comes from the corsetry at the back. You can tie it as loosely or as tight as you like to take inches off your waist and it really, really works. And at the back the suit also gives great bum coverage, unlike many high street swimsuits that are barely bigger than a thong at the back. Michelle said: 'Honestly, I love it. It's a 10/10 swimsuit… Can I take it home?'

SailGP rides rising tide with celebrity owners, brands
NEW YORK, June 6 (Reuters) - With new celebrity owners and a bevy of fresh sponsors, SailGP hopes to harness a wave of popularity and take the global sailing championship to the next level as it steers back to New York City to race for a third time this weekend. SailGP announced actors Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds as new owners of Australia's three-time champion team on Thursday, just as the ink was drying on the team's first title sponsor deal with BONDS. Reynolds led beleaguered soccer side Wrexham out of obscurity and into the English second-tier Championship with an injection of marketing wizardry, cash and a popular docu-series that quickly converted legions of American fans. SailGP is hoping for their Wrexham moment, too. "The fact that we can get that sort of involvement in one of the teams is amazing, and they'll have some fun with it too, which is what it's all about," Russell Coutts, the former Olympic champion who co-founded the league, told Reuters. It was the kind of news to which fans have become accustomed, as the operation co-founded by billionaire Larry Ellison catches fire with A-listers and snares more big-name brands six years after its launch. Oscar winner Anne Hathaway joined a female-led consortium that acquired the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team last week, while the competition itself named Rolex its title sponsor in November. More than 200,000 ticketholders watched SailGP events last year, as the league reported strong growth in social media engagement, snaring younger fans. The competition expanded to 12 teams for season five, with the addition of Brazil and Italy, and announced its new docuseries last month, part of a new content development push. "We had so many sort of naysayers out there saying this is like another sailing league, it'll be gone in two years, people have tried this and done it before, it never works and SailGP has totally broken down those boundaries," said Tom Slingsby, the CEO and driver for the Australian team. The 2012 Olympic gold medallist, whose team was rebranded as the BONDS Flying Roos, said he could not have imagined five years ago his team signing an iconic brand like BONDS, as they mull potential documentary options with Jackman and Reynolds. "I would have said that's not possible. There's no chance," he said. "But here we are." The leaders in the SailGP standings are not the only winners in the sponsorship race: On Monday, the U.S. SailGP team announced Amazon has signed on as a sponsor, joining existing brands like Tommy Hilfiger and T-Mobile. "You're starting to see really big brands come in and spend money in our sport," said Mike Buckley, the CEO and strategist for the U.S. SailGP team. "We're on everybody's radar now." Buckley put his money where his mouth is in 2023, helping lead a group of investors in the purchase of the U.S. team, locking in early for the league that hopes to become the "F1 of sailing". "Larry Ellison and Russell Coutts had a vision to build a TV product that the average racing fan would spend 90 minutes paying attention to," he said. "And I think they've done just that." The New York Sail Grand Prix is set for June 7-8.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in brutal TalkTV putdown of video clip
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Meghan Markle faced ridicule on TalkTV after revealing a video of her attempting a spot of twerking in a hospital suite during labour with her daughter Lilibet. Meghan's antics were met with a parody treatment as presenter Kevin O'Sullivan donned a dark wig and makeshift bump to mimic the Duchess in labour, dancing along to the tune of 'Baby Mama'. Sporting the getup, O'Sullivan also had a go at imitating Prince Harry with a ginger wig. In a mockingly captioned clip, TalkTV quipped: "Inspired by Meghan Markle's hospital twerking video, Kevin O'Sullivan gives it a go. But is his baby bump REAL?" poking fun at the conspiracy theories that questioned the authenticity of Meghan's pregnancies. The spoof, complete with a digitally rendered hospital backdrop, sent viewers into fits of laughter, leading them to lavish praise on the presenter for his comical gyrations. One viewer exclaimed, "Kevin got the moves! Looking good there," while another playfully commented, "Ffs these just keep getting better and better! !". A third lauded, "Spitting image of them two," with a fourth echoing the sentiment, "Oh Kevin.. I really wanted to see you twerk.. lol,"reports the Express. Despite the comedy, one person pointed out, "This is hilarious, but tbf, any woman who has given birth will know she'll have that big strap around her belly where they attach the heart monitor devices etc." Another defended Meghan, saying, "I can't stand the woman but her bump was real." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced criticism for sharing a video amidst their quest for a more private life outside the Royal family. However, since rejoining Instagram earlier this year, Meghan has been giving fans a glimpse into their family life. Marking her daughter's fourth birthday, Meghan shared a post saying: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!" She added laughing emojis to the post. She also posted a heartwarming photo of Prince Harry holding Lilibet as a newborn and another of him holding her hand as a child, writing: "The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!".
