ROSS DOOHAN says he can be Scotland's No 1 — despite being Celtic's No 3.
The Hoops academy product returned to the club from Aberdeen this week after three years away.

Doohan answered Steve Clarke's SOS to make his Scotland debut in the friendly win in Liechtenstein.
But he doesn't want to be remembered as a one-cap wonder and believes he can keep his spot in the squad, despite having Kasper Schmeichel and Viljami Sinisalo ahead of him in the pecking order at Parkhead.
Doohan said: 'I believe I could do it. I need to back myself and we'll see what happens in the future.
'I always thought there was a chance of Scotland when I played the few games I did for Aberdeen last year.
'I got a good amount of game time last season and I thought it would put me in good stead.'
Doohan interrupted a family holiday in Turkiye to help dig his national team out of a hole.
The 27-year-old said: 'When I got the call to meet up with the squad for the Liechtenstein game midway through the summer I just dropped everything I could.
'I packed the case then got the first flight back to Glasgow so I could meet up with the squad.
'It's given me that drive and I don't want it to be my one and only cap.
'I want to get called up more and hopefully I'll get more caps in the future.'

Doohan got his Scotland chance with Craig Gordon, Angus Gunn, Zander Clark, Liam Kelly and Robby McCrorie all crocked and kid Cieran Slicker under fire after his nightmare debut against Iceland.
The former Under-21 cap raced from his sun lounger to make his bow in Vaduz as Scotland claimed a 4-0 win.
Clarke's men open up their World Cup qualifying campaign in the autumn with away games against Denmark and Belarus in early September.
Doohan said: 'Any game for Scotland would be exciting to be involved in.
'Getting called up for your country is a great honour and I'm looking forward to the World Cup qualifiers.
'If I get called up, I'd be absolutely buzzing.'
Doohan will replace Scott Bain in the Hoops squad following his move to Falkirk.
But he isn't looking at being third pick under Brendan Rodgers.
He added: 'Yeah, I've got to back myself.
'I've got to go out and train and work hard, then I have to grasp any opportunity I get.
'I need to train hard during the week to be ready for the game at the weekend, whether I'm playing or not.
'That's life as a goalkeeper, you always need to be ready.
'I feel like competition's healthy everywhere.
'If you're competing with people, that'll bring out the best in you.
'I'm looking to come in, push on and hopefully make a stamp on the squad here.'

TikTok star does keep-ups down Glasgow's Buchanan Street

Sam Madden recently posted a clip on TikTok where he challenged himself to do keep-ups down the city's Style Mile. In the video, Sam said: "Can I do kick-ups the whole way down Buchanan Street. "With Glasgow, I'm a bit worried cause I think there are a lot of people here who'd find it quite funny to just boot the ball away, but let's give it a go. "I will count how many kick-ups it takes, and you'll find out at the end of the video." The social media star started his challenge at the top of Buchanan Street, just outside Holland and Barrett at 229 Buchanan Street. "Challenge is well underway." However, it's not just keepie-ups Sam does heading down Buchanan Street, the football influencer also does some skill moves, including an 'around the world', which is when you juggle the ball up in the air with one foot and bring that same foot all the way around the ball and continue to juggle it with out it hitting the ground. Luckily, the football freestyler completed his challenge and made it to the St Enoch's Shopping Centre without dropping the ball - or anyone booting it away from him. After uploading the clip on social media, fans flocked to the comments of the post to share that they were impressed by Sam's football skills. One person said: "Impressive mate. You should have finished at the Celtic shop." Another added: "I respect the dedication, mate." Meanwhile, several others tried to guess how many keepie-ups Sam did during his trip down Buchanan Street, with some guessing more than 1,000. In total, Sam revealed he did 1,025 keepie-ups during his trip down the bustling shopping street.

EFL rules change could see more English clubs invest in SPFL

According to The Guardian, the EFL has amended its multi-club ownership regulations to allow member clubs in the Championship, League One, and League Two to invest in Scottish and Irish teams. This was decided at the organisation's AGM earlier this month. The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and the Irish Football League were removed from the list of competitions clubs were previously forbidden from investing in. This change comes shortly after Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe of 49ers Enterprises, who also control Leeds United, secured a majority shareholding in Rangers. Their dual club ownership includes the San Francisco 49ers. Premier League club owners have never faced restrictions on multiple club ownership. Leeds' connection to Rangers and Brighton owner Tony Bloom's recent £10 million investment for a 29 percent stake in Hearts exemplify this. The Black Knights Group's investment in Hibernian, where Bournemouth owner Bill Foley paid £6 million for a 25 percent stake, was the first significant multi-club ownership deal in Scotland. The need for greater alignment between the EFL and Premier League was highlighted when 49ers Enterprises acquired a controlling 51 percent stake in Rangers for £75 million.

Rule change that could see more Rangers dual ownership deals

The Guardian reports that the EFL has changed its multi-club ownership rules to allow member clubs - those in the Championship, League One & Two - to buy stakes in Scottish and Irish teams for the first time. They state that the regulation change was struck at the organisation's AGM earlier this month. Here, the SPFL and Irish Football League were removed from the list of competitions that clubs were restricted from investing in. It comes just weeks after Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe of 49ers Enterprises secured their majority shareholding in Rangers. The latter also control Leeds United, and so, have dual club ownership, with the San Francisco 49ers also on their books. It has never been an issue for owners of Premier League clubs to have multiple clubs. Read more: As well as Leeds' connections to Rangers, Brighton owner Tony Bloom recently purchased a 29 percent stake in Hearts with a £10m investment. Meanwhile, the first major multi-club ownership deal to be struck in Scotland was the Black Knights Group's investment in Hibernian, when Bournemouth owner, Bill Foley, paid £6m for 25 percent of the Edinburgh outfit. The need for greater alignment between the EFL and Premier League was highlighted when Leeds's majority owner, 49er Enterprises, entered exclusive negotiations about buying Rangers. They bought a controlling 51 percent stake in Rangers for £75m.
