A Beach Villa Evolution Arrives at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa

Al Bawaba09-07-2025
Twice as much outdoor space, a redesigned layout, an extended pool, and a fresh airy palette: the new Beach Villas with Pool at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa are a night-to-day improvement on their former Beach Bungalow incarnations. Gone are the deep wood tones and intimate garden enclaves, replaced with lighter, brighter, larger and lovelier options for couples, honeymooners and young families. Positioned close to the shoreline with ocean, lagoon and sunrise views, each Beach Villa caters to three adults, or two adults and two children (below 12 years). Interiors now total 70 m2 (753.5 sq. ft.), while exteriors extend to 285 m2 (3,068 sq. ft.).Commenting on the final stage of the Resort's regeneration project, General Manager Didier Jardin said: "Kuda Huraa has long been a haven for those seeking an intimate Maldivian home-from-home but we recognised the limitations of our bungalows in terms of layout, light and space. Our first ever Beach Villas embody the spirit of the island, where comfort, care, and the magic of the Maldives come together in a seamless flow.'Highlights of Kuda Huraa's new Beach Villas with Pool include: A fresh and inviting aesthetic: Deep wood tones give way to a lighter, palette with sea- and sun-inspired hints of teal, turquoise and tangerine.A redesigned layout to improve flow and functionality: A bright porch leads to a light-filled ensuite bedroom – with study and dining area – expanded to include a window-side daybed framed by ocean views. A reconfigured walk-in closet offers seamless bathroom access. All Beach Villas have an outdoor shower garden; some have family rooms. An elevated outdoor experience: The former dip pool is now a 36 m2 (388 sq. ft) pool, positioned to direct attention to ocean views. A new pergola with round custom-designed swing offers an Instagram-worthy retreat for relaxing, dining, or soaking up the sun.Stylish architectural and interior design: High-end designer pieces like the iconic B&B Italia armchair elevate the Beach Villa aesthetic. Contrasting materials, textures, and soft, organic lines enhance visual depth while architectural curves integrate each structure into the surrounding environment. Complimentary room features in each Beach Villa include daily fresh fruit, Kuda Spring drinking water, coffee and tea; twice-daily housekeeping with evening turndown, and beach essentials for children 12 and under.
For guests seeking a truly effortless island escape, the Bed & Breakfast package offers the perfect way to begin each day in paradise: with a sumptuous buffet breakfast at Café Huraa included for two guests per bedroom (or four guests in a family villa or bungalow, and all guests in suites). Available for stays till December 20, 2026, subject to availability.
