Badshah Clarifies 'Make Babies With Dua Lipa' Comment Amid Criticism: 'Meri Soch…'
Last Updated:
Badshah faced backlash for his comment about Dua Lipa, saying he'd "rather make babies with her." He defended his X post.
Rapper Badshah found himself at the centre of social media backlash after making a remark about singer Dua Lipa. In an X post, the Bad Boy singer wrote that he'd 'rather make babies with her" — a comment that didn't sit well with a majority of social media users. Hours after the criticism continued to pour in, Badshah clarified his post on X.
Badshah didn't apologise for his comment. Rather, he defended his stance. 'I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi tumhari soch saamne aayi hai (Not mine but your thinking has been exposed) (sic)," read his latest post. Take a look:

On June 6, Badshah took to X and simply wrote 'Dua Lipa", with a red heart. Excited fans took to comment section and asked the singer whether a possible collaboration is in the works. What appeared to be a casual appreciation post quickly took a turn Badshah dropped a controversial reply, stating, 'I'd rather make babies with her bro", sending the Internet into a frenzy. It is to be noted the singer hasn't deleted his controversial post yet.
Meanwhile, Badshah has been making headlines for his jaw-dropping transformation. In May, the Garmi singer dropped shirtless photos of himself, flaunting a leaner-looking physique. As soon as the singer shared the post, the comment section was flooded with compliments from his fans and friends.
Previously, during a conversation with Shilpa Shetty, Badshah opened up about his weight loss journey and shared, 'I had many reasons for dropping weight. We did no shows during the lockdown. The shows then abruptly began to open. When I got up on stage, I knew I didn't have the stamina. My job requires me to be active for approximately 120 minutes when performing on stage. I didn't have the stamina; I started panting after just 15 minutes. As a performer, I have to give my best. That was a major reason."
Apart from Badshah's tours and new song launches, the rapper was recently linked to actor Tara Sutaria. There were no clarifications from either star, and the rumours soon faded away.

'It's Our Hope': Former YouTuber MatPat Launches Creator Economy Caucus
Making a play for politician of the year with his brave career change, former YouTube star MatPat has officially declared his candidacy for public office, not bringing a game theory, but a bill theory to the game. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now On June 10, Patrick took to the House floor to announce the creation of the Creator Economy Caucus, a new bipartisan effort to connect lawmakers with the rapidly growing world of content creation. From YouTube Algorithms to Congressional Advocacy Famously analytical and critical in his dissection of pop culture and internet culture on channels like Game Theory, Patrick's creative presence in online spaces has recently shifted toward an entirely civic example. With wife and long-time collaborator Stephanie 'Steph' Patrick by his side, he launched the caucus as a place where creators and policymakers can work together on issues at the heart of the digital economy. "New quest: Washington DC! After two years of work, Steph and I have just launched the Creator Economy Caucus in the House of Representatives, a bipartisan group where creators can work alongside lawmakers to ensure legislation is timely and relevant for the Internet age. We've already got ~10 reps on board and we're just getting started. We'll eventually want to assemble creator advocates from around the country, so if you're interested in helping Washington understand our world, stay tuned here for more info!" Patrick posted on X. The caucus, already supported by roughly 10 representatives, hopes to be a direct line between content creators and Congress. Their mission—which we echo here? To make sure that any federal legislation is able to move as quickly as a world that changes often even faster than law books can be updated. Addressing Internet-Age Policy Gaps At the press conference, Patrick laid out broader policy discussion goals for the caucus, including the promotion of online privacy legislation, AI ethics, algorithmic responsibility, and child safety online. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now He highlighted the need for legislative certainty when it comes to creator taxation and accessibility to small business resources, issues that seldom make the front page but matter most to the digital entrepreneurs building them. 'These aren't flashy topics,' Patrick admitted, 'but they're critical to the survival of this budding ecosystem.' A New Kind of Representative Voice One fan joked, 'We're going into politics with this BITE OF 87!!!' Others commented, 'He's extremely more qualified than like 90% of people currently in office.' With the Creator Economy firmly established as a billion-dollar industry and on the rise, Patrick's departure marks a bigger trend: the internet has outgrown being just a place to engage with culture. It's more and more often dictating policy, and creators are calling for their voices to be heard. Only time will tell if MatPat's 'new quest' is enough to succeed in changing Washington's relationship with the digital world for the better. Except for one thing: it's no longer a game for the theorist—it's a very real game, with very real stakes.

Who is Angelina Censori? Bianca Censori's lookalike sister joins Kanye West's inner circle
Angelina Censori may be only 21, but she's already catching headlines. Not just for bearing a striking resemblance to her older sister Bianca Censori, but also for slipping seamlessly into the glitzy, globe-trotting world of Kanye West (Ye). The younger Censori recently joined her sister and the rapper on their whirlwind vacation, which saw them hop from Spain to Japan. If you have been scrolling through Instagram, you might have stumbled across a few luxe snapshots from the trio's Tokyo stop. Angelina Censori, who's known to be close to Bianca Censori, posted glimpses from their Japanese vacation. From a high-end meal at the celebrity-favourite WAGYUMAFIA to vintage shopping sprees and skyline views, it looks like she is already syncing with Ye's stylish crew. Well, this wasn't a one-off holiday tagalong. Last month, Angelina was also spotted soaking up the sun in Spain alongside the couple, reported Variety. While the views from Mallorca were enviable, the album came with its fair share of gossip. Fans began speculating about a potential romance between Angelina and Ye's business associate, Sneako, after she posted photos that featured the two of them. But she wasn't having any of it. Angelina promptly shut down the whispers, clarifying with a direct statement, 'We are not dating.' Meanwhile, Bianca Censori stirred the Internet in her own way. At a local market in Mallorca, she reportedly turned heads in a see-through mesh top and a barely-there skirt. Her freshly donned long, dark wig with wispy bangs only added to the dramatic flair. As if the family vacations and fashion choices weren't enough to keep fans buzzing, Kanye West had another headline moment. The rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye back in 2021, has now reportedly taken a step further. According to newly surfaced business documents, he has adopted a new moniker: Ye Ye. The change wasn't just a quirky nickname. As per Page Six, the official paperwork filed by Kanye West's CFO, Hussain Lalani, lists the new name across his various ventures - including Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label LLC, and Getting Out Our Dreams Inc. Angelina Censori is the 20-year-old younger sister of Bianca Censori, Kanye West's wife. No. Although fans speculated romance after shared photos from Mallorca, Angelina Censori confirmed, 'We are not dating.' After changing his name to Ye in 2021, Kanye has now adopted the new moniker 'Ye Ye,' as per recent business filings.

‘I laughed for 10 minutes': D Gukesh reacts to Magnus Carlsen's viral table slam memes and picks his favourite
A dramatic moment from the 2024 FIDE Candidates Tournament has gone viral, but not for the moves on the chess board. It's Magnus Carlsen's frustrated table slam after losing to D Gukesh that has taken social media by storm, sparking a meme-fest unlike anything the chess world has seen in years. The incident occurred during round six of the Candidates, where Gukesh, then just 17, pulled off a stunning win against the five-time world champion. The loss rattled Carlsen enough to prompt a rare public show of emotion: as he walked away from the board, he slammed the table in frustration. That single gesture, caught on camera, became meme gold. Since then, the clip has been edited into dozens of reels, with internet users adding everything from dramatic music to jump-scare effects. But it's one meme in particular that has Gukesh laughing the most. In a recent interview, the teenage grandmaster was shown a viral edit where a calm, unbothered cat sits on a table, until Carlsen's slam jolts it into a panic. Gukesh couldn't contain his laughter. 'I was laughing for like 10 minutes,' he said, still grinning as he recalled the meme. The video of Gukesh reacting to these edits was shared by ChessBase India on Instagram, captioned, 'Gukesh reacts to the Viral Reel Trends.' It's already racked up over 1.4 million views and 171K likes. A post shared by ChessBase India (@chessbaseindia) The Internet couldn't get enough of the clip, and fans flooded the comments section with their own takes. One user wrote, 'My feed is still full of those memes.' Another one wrote, 'omg I'm so glad we memed chess.' One user said, 'We should get Magnus also.' A fourth user wrote, 'My whole feed is blessed with this meme.' Carlsen, for his part, admitted the loss stung. He had control of the game mid-way through round six but eventually slipped. 'It definitely wasn't my finest hour, but I regret the moves I made more than the gesture,' he said post-match. Gukesh Dommaraju continues to make history as a chess phenomenon. The Indian grandmaster is now the reigning World Chess Champion, having become the youngest undisputed champion and the youngest player ever to surpass a FIDE rating of 2750, achieving the feat at just 17. He's also the third-youngest to cross 2700 Elo at age 16.
