Parrish pedestrian, 19, dies after being struck by pickup on U.S. 301
The collision happened at 9:38 a.m. Saturday, July 5 south of Prosperity Lakes Boulevard, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
The pickup was traveling south on U.S. 301 and the pedestrian was also in the southbound lane. The front right of the pickup hit the pedestrian, the report said. The driver of the pickup, a 31-year-old Wimauma man, was uninjured.
The Parrish man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Some were convinced he was killed in an effort to keep concealed a 'list' of his high-profile co-conspirators, despite longtime observers repeatedly indicating that no such list existed. President Donald Trump said during his 2024 campaign that he'd publicly release such records if he was elected again. But after he returned to office, his Administration disappointed anticipators of the so-called 'Epstein Files' when it touted a batch of mostly already public records, despite Attorney General Pam Bondi having previously said that the client list was 'sitting on my desk right now to review.' Bondi at the time blamed the FBI for not abiding by her directive to provide the 'full and complete' set of Epstein-related documents in the government's possession, and right-wing conspiracy theorists have since turned on FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, both of whom had previously promoted Epstein-related conspiracy theories, for supposedly succumbing to the so-called 'Deep State' since taking up their roles. After Trump's ally-turned-critic Elon Musk left the Administration at the end of May, Musk fueled further conspiracy theories and calls for transparency when he suggested that Trump was implicated in unreleased Epstein files. 'That is the real reason they have not been made public,' Musk wrote in a since-deleted post on X. (Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing in his associations with Epstein.) But a new Justice Department and FBI memo, obtained by Axios and ABC News, aims to put the Epstein conspiracy theories to rest, asserting that there is no evidence that the man who 'harmed over one thousand victims' was murdered, engaged in blackmail, or kept a client list. The memo cited and provided links hosted on the website to video footage of the Manhattan facility where Epstein was detained when he died. The Justice Department and FBI did not immediately confirm nor deny the authenticity of the memo, which was unsigned and undated. TIME has reached out to both for comment. 'One of our highest priorities is combatting child exploitation and bringing justice to victims,' the memo stated. 'Perpetuating unfounded theories about Epstein serves neither of those ends.' 'We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties,' the memo also stated, adding that 'no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.' Already, the memo has incited furious reactions on the right. 'So Epstein was trafficking these underage girls to nobody? Is Pam Bondi serious?' conservative activist Robby Starbuck posted on X. 'What Epstein and his ilk did was pure evil and this memo attempts to just close the book on it like there's no one else involved.' Man stabbed to death at Oshkosh's Menominee Park after large fight, teen arrested
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities launched a homicide investigation after a man was found stabbed to death near Oshkosh's Menominee Park on Saturday night. Officers with the Oshkosh Police Department say the stabbing happened inside Menominee Park in the 1200 block of East Irving Avenue in Oshkosh. Man flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after head-on collision in Outagamie County Around 11 p.m. on July 5, officers were initially called to a crash in the 900 block of East Irving Avenue, where they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Further investigation revealed a fight taking place between 'several' people who were at Menominee Park. Officers say that is when the fight escalated, leading to the man being stabbed. The Fond du Lac Police Department later helped to arrest a 19-year-old man from Fond du Lac for first-degree intentional homicide. Crash with SUV kills Wisconsin motorcyclist, 2 others suffer significant injuries
SPRING PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 73-year-old man was pronounced dead and two others were hospitalized after a collision with an SUV at a southern Wisconsin intersection on Saturday morning. Deputies with the Walworth County Sheriff's Office began to get multiple 911 calls around 9:25 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, reporting a two-vehicle crash at Highway 11 and CTH JS in the Town of Spring Prairie. Several people injured after explosion, fire at a Wisconsin manufacturing facility Dispatch was made aware that the crash involved a motorcycle and that two victims were lying in the road, unresponsive. Crews arrived to find a heavily damaged three-wheeled motorcycle and an SUV lying on its passenger side in the intersection. First aid was immediately provided to all three victims; however, the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as 73-year-old Burlington resident, Mark Weis. Man flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after head-on collision in Outagamie County The two other victims were taken to local hospitals for 'significant injuries.' Deputies noted that neither of the people on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet. This crash is under investigation by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Unit. Based on an initial investigation, the SUV turned in front of the motorcycle at the intersection of State Highway 11 and CTH JS. No additional information was provided.
