‘No f**ks given': Influencers take selfies as yacht sinks
A group of around 30 influencers stepped aboard a luxurious Lamborghini Tecnomar to enjoy a relaxing cruise around Miami Beach on Saturday but it started to go horribly wrong when the boat started taking on water and the $4million yacht started to sink.
The Coast Guard and Good Samariton boat quickly came to help the sinking yacht and shared details of rescue on social media.
'A U.S. Coast Guard Station Miami Beach crew and partner agencies responded to a 63-foot vessel taking on water near Monument Island, rescuing 32 people with no injuries reported around 5pm, Saturday.'
Many influencers seemed unbothered by the sinking yacht and continued to take selfies throughout the rescue while others prioritised saving their most prized possessions, including a MacBook and a $350 bottle of Clase Azul Gold tequila.
The expensive bottle of booze was cradled by former Miss America competitor Regan Hartley on a rescue boat while someone else shouted, 'The baby is safe,' according to the Sun.
Some of the influencers have shared videos of the ordeal on thier social media pages, Luis Leon Martinez a self-proclaimed Miami Guide with over 250,000 followers has shared multiple videos of the influencers being rescued, showing many of them laughing, drinking and passing thier designer handbags to members of the coast guard.

It still remains unclear exactly why the boat sank but commentors on the Coast Guard's Facebook post have speculated that there was too many people on board the 63-foot vessel.
'The tecnomar Lamborghini 63 is CE certified by RINA for 12 pax….. 32 is a way overloaded' one person wrote.
'Over capacity against the law for a Bare boat charter. Typical Miami' another suggested. 'We saw, like, a bunch of cop boats, like police boats, and there was another yacht that was flipped over, completely vertical in the water,' witness Rachel Miller told WSVN-TV News. Rugby star's Ilona Maher's Miami Swim Week reveal
A popular rugby player and US Olympian has revealed a key detail that went on behind the scenes of her Miami Swim week appearance. Ilona Maher, who is the world's most followed rugby player on social media, recently took the internet by storm with her appearance. 'Men think they are tough but they'll never do Miami Swim Week wearing only bikinis while on their periods like I did,' she said. Fans commended Maher for her efforts. 'You absolutely SHINED in Miami Swim Week, GO GIRL,' one said. Another said: 'Hell yeah, I'm synched up with an Olympic champion.' 'Another medal, get her another medal now,' one commented. One said: 'WHILE ON YOUR PERIOD? SLAY!' Maher has been in swimsuits a lot recently between the fashion event and appearing in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit edition for the second time. When asked if being in a swimsuit was tough for her, Mahertold the Today Show she loved showing off what her body had done for her. 'I've been to two Olympics now. It does amazing things on the field. It's just perfect for what it does and so strong,' she said. 'I think other girls seeing that, and feeling like, 'Oh my gosh, I look like her, I have the frame of her' not only has helped me and made me feel more confident, I think it helps others. 'You can be just as confident, feel as beautiful as I do.' She also said she did zero preparation ahead of her Sports Illustrated appearance, saying she wanted to look back and appreciate the real version of herself. The 28-year-old has been forced to defend what her body looks like, particularly last year after a troll called her out for having a BMI of 30. 'I do have a BMI of 30, well 29.3 to be more exact. I've been considered overweight my whole life,' she said in a now viral clip shared last year. 'In middle school, elementary school, high school, I've always been considered overweight.' Maher recalled an incident in high school when she had to return a physical test to the school office and at the bottom it said 'overweight'. 'I was so embarrassed to turn that in and to have that written there,' she said. 'So my whole life I've been this way. I chatted with my dietitian, because I go off facts and not just what pops off up here (as she points to her head), like you do. 'We talked about BMI and how it really isn't helpful to athletes. BMI doesn't tell you much, it just tells you your height and weight and what that equals. 'I've said it before, I'm five-ten (178cm), 200 pounds (90kgs), and I have about 170 pounds of lean mass on me. Do that math in your head, you probably can't. 'That's pretty crazy right? And that BMI doesn't really tell you what I can do. It doesn't tell you what I do on the field, how fit I am, it's just a couple of numbers put together.' And then the two-time Olympian finished it off with the perfect take-down, adding; 'So yeah I do have a BMI of 30, I am considered overweight. But alas, I'm going to the Olympics, and you're not.'

Tom Daley honoured by PETA
Tom Daley has been given a special award by PETA. The 31-year-old diver is an avid knitter and the animal rights organisation have praised the former Olympian for the launch of his yarn The Cottony One, which is made from a plant-powered cotton blend rather than a sheep's wool. Tom will receive a letter of recognition and a framed Animal-Free Future certificate from PETA, which praised The Cottony One as "a cosy, compassionate option for knitters that's kind to sheep". PETA Vice President of Programmes and Operations Elisa Allen told BANG Showbiz in a statement: 'Tom Daley's soft yet sturdy cotton-blend yarn will have even the most discerning knitters hooked on animal-friendly fibres that keep sheep from being shorn bloody. 'PETA is delighted to recognise him and urges compassionate crafters everywhere to ditch wool knits and use only cosy, cruelty-free vegan yarns.' The recognition for Tom comes after a recent PETA expose allegedly found pervasive cruelty at "responsible" wool operations in New Zealand, where sheep were routinely beaten, kicked, thrown down chutes and slammed to the ground, while the animals would also be left with gaping, open wounds sewn shut without pain relief as shearers are incentivised to work quickly. According to the organisation, wool production is also damaging to the environment due the production of methane from sheep, as well as massive amounts of faecal waste generated, which contributes to soil erosion and desertification of ecosystems. Tom has sons Robbie, seven, and two-year-old Phoenix with husband Dustin Lance Black and he previously spoke of his plans to teach his kids to knit. Speaking before the birth of his younger son, he told Prima magazine: 'I can't wait to teach Robbie to knit. He does want to but I don't think he has the dexterity just yet. 'I'd love to get knitting to become part of the extracurricular programme. 'It's such a good thing for kids to learn – to get them doing something with their hands, making something themselves.' Tom also hopes to persuade his husband to give more space in their home to his hobby. He admitted: 'I would love my own craft room. 'I have a yarn stash in my wardrobe and I've kind of taken over the kitchen table, much to my husband's dismay.' For more information, visit or follow PETA on Facebook, X, TikTok, or Instagram.
