Justin Bieber Dragged For Saying He Would Have 'Got Rid' Of Wife Hailey If She Wasn't 'Hot' In Resurfaced Clip

Yahoo2 days ago

Hailey Bieber's fans are furious at her husband, Justin Bieber, over a resurfaced video in which he made "disgusting" comments about her.
The pop star also garnered the ire of fans after he admitted that he once told her that she'd never land a Vogue magazine cover during an argument.
Hailey Bieber recently sold her Rhode Beauty line for $1 billion, and Justin Bieber opted not to share any comments regarding her business achievement, likely due to recent backlash over the Vogue cover.
Justin continues to receive backlash over his actions towards his wife, with the latest incident stemming from a resurfaced video showing him making "disgusting" comments about her body.
The couple tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their son, Jack Blues, in August of last year, but their relationship has been plagued by rumors of marital discord and potential split amid Justin's recent controversial actions.
In the video, Hailey and Justin are sitting in a car as the "Baby" singer faces the camera, and jokingly calls her "clueless," noting that he only listens to her because she's his wife.
"If you weren't so hot, I would've gotten rid of you a long time ago," he added, prompting Hailey to say, "Oh, too bad for you."
Fans of the businesswoman on social media were furious over the comments, as some tagged them "inappropriate."
"Justin, that is a RUDE and DISGUSTING thing to say to your wife. You aren't hot, btw. Disrespect a woman like that? Red flag," a fan wrote.
Another fan said that what Justin told Hailey was "a crazy thing to say to your gf/fiance/wife."
A third person noted, "No words. That man would never see me again, or he would never see the light of day again."
"She gets treated this way by her husband AND gets the worst internet hate I would have SNAPPED," another X user said of the old video.
One more person commented, "I don't particularly care for Hailey, but she deserves so much f-cking better than him, oh my God."
The unearthed clip comes after Justin faced backlash for sharing that he told Hailey she would never be on the cover of Vogue.
The 28-year-old had just graced the cover of Vogue Magazine and was in celebratory mode, but was overshadowed by Justin's controversial comment, which was meant to celebrate her.
In his post, the singer explained why Hailey's appearance on the cover of the prestigious fashion publication was a full-circle moment for him.
"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue," Justin said. "Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason, because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even."
He continued, "Think as we mature, we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even... we're honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection."
Justin concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken."
Hailey scored a major win on Wednesday when she sold her Rhode beauty brand for $1 billion.
She took to her Instagram account to make the announcement, noting that she'll now serve as the company's founder, Chief Creative Officer, and Head of Innovation following its sale.
In her post, she made no mention of Justin but thanked her "amazing Rhode team" as well as her "Rhode community.
After her announcement, she was seen arriving at West Hollywood restaurant Alba on Wednesday to celebrate the success, but was without the company of her husband.
Justin also raised eyebrows when he reposted the announcement to his Instagram account, but declined to write anything in the caption, nor did he praise her for the feat. He additionally uploaded a separate carousel of images that showed them cozying up together.
Hailey's career milestone came after an insider shared growing concern over the state of their marriage.
One of the sources alleged that the tension between the duo has increased exponentially in the wake of the singer showcasing several questionable behaviors on social media and in public.
"I don't know how long they will be together or if they'll wait until things explode, but the situation is getting more unbearable week after week," the insider told The Sun.
Although all of this tension isn't apparent when the couple is out in public, they reportedly "avoid being in the same room" when they are at home.
"Then they also travel a lot separately," the insider added about the couple who tied the knot in 2018. "They mostly do their own thing when they have time off. The situation is explosive."
