Georgia Harrison pregnant with first child after 10 month romance with new boyfriend

Daily Record26-04-2025

Love Island star Georgia Harrison, has announced she is expecting her first child with her City worker boyfriend Jack Stacey, following a whirlwind romance. The couple, who connected on a dating app and had their first date last summer, are now living together in Essex and preparing for parenthood. Taking to Instagram this evening to share the news with her 1.3m followers, the former Celebrity SAS champion wrote: "We've been keeping a secret. Me and Jack are having a baby! Due November 2025, we can't wait to welcome this little one into the world and embrace all the joy and love he or she will bring. "I still can't believe I've finally got everything I ever wanted and I couldn't be more grateful. And just like that 2 are about to become 3." The 30-year-old shared a series of sweet snaps including one of the ultrasound as she and Jack beamed while posing together with Georgia's baby bump. Speaking to the Mirror about her pregnancy reveal, Georgia said: "When you know, you know. I know it's cringey but that's definitely how we feel. Anyone who knows us knows how strong we are, and how happy we make each other. "We both definitely wanted children, and while some may say it feels too soon, we know that this is amazing news and we couldn't be happier. "We've both lived so much already, partied to a point that is probably concerning, and done everything fun you could possibly do. If we're lucky enough to be able to have kids, why not have them sooner rather than later?" Since her initial appearance on The Only Way is Essex in 2014 and Love Island in 2017, Georgia has made significant strides. Back in 2023, the BBC named her one of the world's 100 most inspiring and influential women, alongside human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and former First Lady Michelle Obama. This year, Georgia produced an ITV documentary series. Her foray into political lobbying and documentary filmmaking followed her brave decision to waive her right to anonymity and testify against her former partner, Stephen Bear, who had uploaded a private intimate video of her online without her consent and profited from it. In March 2023, Bear was convicted of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual films and photographs with intent to cause distress and received a 21-month sentence. He was released after serving just over half his sentence and was ordered to pay back £22,305 in illegal profits from the video. Georgia's fight for stronger protections bore fruit in 2023 when the government passed amendments to the online safety bill, making it easier to prosecute such offences. Despite her achievements, Georgia admits to struggling with the magnitude of her impact. She said: "I think I've achieved a lot for someone my age, but I probably get imposter syndrome, too. I find it hard to see the bigger picture of the things that I've done. "But I've also had to learn and to believe anything I've experienced in my past was meant to lead me to this place." Given her past, it's perhaps understandable that before meeting Jack last August, Georgia was doubtful about finding her ideal partner. She said: "But if you don't go to the interview, you're not going to get the job are you? I was thinking, I'm nearing 30 now, I really want to make an effort to meet someone. I'd never been on a dating app before and I set up a few dates that week, and a few the week after, and Jack happened to be the first. "Thankfully he hadn't watched any of my previous shows or he might not have turned up. I cancelled the other dates after that. Jack's always said things like, 'I'm not going anywhere', but I was quite -pessimistic about love in general." After spending nearly every day together for the next few months, they planned their next step to be purchasing their first home together this year, in London. However, with the exciting news, they decided Essex would be best so Georgia could be closer to her mum. She said: "We were basically living out of suitcases, which was getting a bit stressful for us, so we were trying to work out where we wanted to be, together." She adds: "I'd just put my flat on the market but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I knew I needed to be in Essex, at least for a while." After telling Jack, Georgia's mum Nicola Harrison was next to find out their happy news and, given everything she has been through with her daughter, Georgia says her reaction was emotional. The Love Island star has been making waves with her recent TV project, the impactful two-part ITV documentary 'Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power, Profit'. The show investigates the dark side of revenge and deep fake pornography. Now, as Georgia embarks on her journey to motherhood, she feels even more compelled to champion change, to create a safer environment for her future child. Reflecting on her motivation, she said: "I initially thought of my little sisters and brother when I was campaigning – hoping to make things different for them. Now, I have this whole new drive – I want the world to be a better place because I'm bringing my own child into it."

Prince Harry and Meghan's single word that left late Queen fearing 'disaster'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle never intended to leave royal life altogether, but one word in their sensational statement lead to an ultimatum from the Palace, according to insiders Prince Harry and Meghan Markle completely quitting their royal roles came down to the use of a single word, according to an insider. Now five years on from them sensationally stepping back as full-time working royals, the Sussexes appear to have left their former lives well and truly behind them. The pair have both been focusing on their commercial endeavours with Meghan sharing more and more of her life behind the scenes on Instagram, including a recent video of her twerking alongside Harry as they awaited the birth of their daughter Princess Lilibet. However, when they first announced their intention for change more than five years ago, it seemed that they did not want to quit royal life completely, instead saying that they intended to "carve out a progressive new role within this institution". ‌ ‌ But it appears a throwaway, single word in that very statement paved the way for an ultimatum that there would be no half-in, half-out arrangement for them. In the statement announcing their stepping back, the Sussexes said at the time: "We will continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties." And according to the Daily Mail, the word 'collaborate' is what raised eyebrows, with a source telling the publication: "No-one 'collaborates' with the Queen. This is not one of those 'Kate Moss Top Shop tie-ups'." And with the Sussexes, most notably Meghan, forging a very different path compared to the one she had in the Royal Family, the insider added: "This is exactly why Queen Elizabeth knew this whole half-in, half-out version of royalty they were lobbying for was never, ever going to work. "Harry and Meghan were a law unto themselves from the start, pushing and pushing the envelope to their own professional and financial advantage. Her Late Majesty was nobody's fool and knew that the chances were, it would all end in disaster." In the dancing clip from last week, a heavily pregnant Meghan twerks to the Starrkeisha song Baby Momma, lifting her skirt above her knees, raising her hands in the air and wiggling low with her hands on her hips and legs. Meghan shared the clip on Lilibet's fourth birthday, saying: "Four years ago today, this also happened. ‌ "Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!" And for royal expert Jennie Bond, she believes it is an "astonishing video on any level" and reveals what the King would have thought of it. The former BBC royal correspondent told the Mirror: "The hours before you give birth are some of the most personal, intimate and private in the lives of any couple. "And women are perfectly entitled to do whatever they feel like to get through the waiting, and the pain. Giving birth is a serious business, and anything to lighten the mood is welcome. ‌ "However - to share those scenes with the world is utterly bizarre and, in my view, takes away all the magic of the moment. I cannot imagine why she chose to release it. Maybe show it one day to your nearest and dearest— but to anyone and everyone who wants to click on it? ‌ "If the King has watched it, which I doubt, though he can't have missed the headlines I'm sure he would be horrified. Royalty has to carry with it some measure of dignity." But she added: "Having said all that, there's no doubt that videos like this connect in a very real way to young people. And perhaps that's what Meghan is trying to do. "My own daughter thought the video humanised both Meghan and Harry and was light-hearted and hugely relatable. It reminded her of her own pregnancies and labour and she thought it was rather charming."

The pro rugby-playing Irishman, 25, admitted he's only had one relationship experience - and fans argue it doesn't even count. As the pair got to know each other, Connor's lack of relationships raised alarms for Helena and viewers watching. Connor confessed: "To be honest, yeah, I've only had one girlfriend." Helena asked: "How long was that?" Connor replied: "I'd say, like, eight weeks." Helena couldn't resist laughing in his face, then asking: "How did it last eight weeks?" He added: "We were seeing each other for a while, but she was only my girlfriend for eight weeks. "And I think it's been two years since then, and I've grown a lot. So yeah, I feel like I'm kind of a bit ready now." But fans think this is a major red flag and it sparked a frenzy on X (formerly Twitter) as one said: "EIGHT WEEKS?? Oh Connor". Another added: "Only my girlfriend for 8 weeks". Love Island's TWO hunky new bombshells REVEALED A third penned: "Babe that does not count as a relationship #loveisland". Also in the episode, Conor's said he is looking for "someone who is really sure of themselves, ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic. I like dark eyes and I don't mind a dominant woman". When it comes to turn offs, he added: "Being too needy, or needing to do everything together. "I like someone to be independent and do their own thing and then we come together and do our thing." However, Connor broke the show rules before he even entered the villa, after he'd revealed he sought advice from past winner Greg O'Shea. Islanders are forbidden from revealing their involvement in the series before it starts. Fellow Irish rugby player Greg, 30, won series five alongside Amber Gill. Conor shared: "I know Greg through rugby circles so I spoke to him about going on Love Island. "He just said 'be yourself, it's a really really really cool experience that not many people get. "So enjoy it and yeah take it day by day and if you can be yourself you can't really go too far wrong'. "So that's my plan. He was like 'my advice might be a bit different from others because I won'." He added: "I'm 25 and I've only had one relationship and it wasn't very long. "So I feel like I'm maybe doing something wrong or maybe I'm not in the right places. "So, hopefully this is the right place, and it should be, you know, because you're in a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful people, so I'm hoping that this is the one." 5 Connor is currently coupled up with blonde beauty Helena Credit: ITV 5 Conor's said he is looking for "someone who is really sure of themselves, ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic" Credit: ITV

Inside collapsing funeral home with 'human remains and Polaroids of corpses'

An urban explorer ventured into an abandoned funeral home that had begun to collapse - what they found inside was truly shocking, and definitely not for the faint-hearted A funeral home owner who 'vanished' one day and never came back left his business totally abandoned - until now. When urban explorer Ben James, 29, stumbled across the collapsing and crumbling building in Illinois, US, he hadn't even realised it was there. Instead, he had been on the hunt for a completely different abandoned space. ‌ "I found the funeral home while looking for an abandoned cemetery," he explained, adding: "The place looks to [have been] abandoned for many years. ‌ "I spoke to a local who said the owner vanished one day and never returned, so it closed and fell into disrepair." What Ben claims to have found inside would have sent chills up anyone's spine. Amongst embalming fluids, death certificates, and 'do not resuscitate' labels, there beneath the dust and building rubble, he claims to have come across what appeared to be decomposing human remains. The remains date all the way back to 2005, he claims, so they have been there undisturbed for twenty years. "It was amazing to see all that was left, death certificates, embalming fluid, and prep tools," the urban explorer - who boasts 215,000 followers on Instagram, @places_forgotten, and a further 1.2 million on TikTok, said. "But the most shocking discovery was human remains and Polaroids of corpses being embalmed. It was a very creepy place. Locals all say it is haunted and they wish it would get demolished, but then the spirits will have nowhere to go." ‌ Urban explorers who bravely venture into abandoned and forgotten spaces captivate a lot of attention, particularly on social media. Some of Ben's followers were eager to see the inside of the ghostly funeral parlor, that had so long sat totally abandoned, with bodies allegedly inside that had never been laid to rest. "For us, who live in a country, where events like this could never happen, this is incredibly fascinating!" Wrote one commenter. "That's so sad," wrote one user, "Are those people's ashes just left on the counter?" Another said: "The Polaroids!". ‌ A crumbling cinema that was also discovered by urban explorers also recently generated a lot of interest, with the inside of the place seemingly frozen in time. Ben's fascination with forgotten spaces has seen him travel all over the world, and he has ventured into disused airports, schools, hospitals, and even a city that had been totally abandoned. "Something a little different from my usual," he captioned the post about the city, "This abandoned city has been left since 1950. It is off limits to people and is patrolled by armed guards, but sometimes, you have to just ignore that and climb the fence that's covered in razor wire".
