Wisconsin man who experienced medical issue while driving dies two weeks after crash
MINOCQUA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 69-year-old Wisconsin man who became unresponsive while driving due to a medical complication died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash.
According to the Minocqua Police Department, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on February 6 around 11:14 a.m. that occurred on Highway 51 in Minocqua.

A Subaru Outback heading south reportedly crossed the center turn lane and both northbound lanes, striking the side of a Minocqua front-end loader that was plowing the sidewalk.
The driver of the Subaru was identified as John Huppert, a 69-year-old from St. Germain, and he was reportedly transported to a hospital before being flown to another facility.
It's believed that Huppert had a medical complication that caused him to become unresponsive, crashing into the front-end loader, according to the release.

Minocqua officials learned that Huppert died on Tuesday, February 18 as a result of the injuries from the crash.

(WFRV) – Green Bay Police Chief Chris Davis stopped by the Local Five studio Thursday morning to discuss safety for kids and families during the summer season and how the police department is involved with a newly launched city initiative focused on revitalizing and reengaging area neighborhoods. Everyone wants to be able to enjoy the parks, so kind of think about your behavior in the park and urge your kids to be good stewards of our public spaces. Chief Davis says to just leave those at home and not bring them into public spaces, or kids using them could get into 'some pretty serious trouble.' The Chief says that every day drivers need to just be aware of their surroundings and not follow too closely to a motorcyclist or bicyclist as they stop much faster than a car can. Those on the bicycles and motorcycles should keep their heads on a swivel and be aware of their surroundings. Riders of either mode of travel mentioned should also be sure to wear a helmet. As for pedestrians, the Chief asks that they try to make themselves as visible as possible. Man arrested after trying to abduct child waiting for school bus, Fairfax County police say
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. () — A man was arrested and charged after he tried abducting a child waiting for the school bus on Tuesday morning, police in Fairfax County said. The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said the charges stem from an incident that happened just after 8:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of Hemlock Drive in Annandale. There, FCPD learned a child was waiting for the school bus near Wadsworth Court and Little River Turnpike when a man drove up in a black Subaru and tried to persuade the child to get in his car. The child was able to get on their bus safely and reported what happened to a school official, who then notified FCPD. Manhunt underway for father accused of murdering his three daughters; former Wisconsin resident

(WFRV) – Three sisters under the age of 10 were found dead in Washington on Monday, and a manhunt is underway for their father, a Wisconsin native. According to the Wenatchee Police Department, officers responded to a civil complaint at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, May 30. The mother of three young girls reported that her daughters were not returned following a scheduled visitation with their father. 'Essentially became a missile': 19-year-old De Pere woman faces 25 charges, $500,000 cash bond for allegedly going 80mph in downtown Fond du Lac The girls—ages 9, 8, and 5—were last seen with their father, identified as 32-year-old Travis Decker of the Wenatchee area. According to WFRV's CBS affiliate in Milwaukee, Decker previously lived in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Officers began searching for Decker and the children immediately. Decker was believed to be living out of a white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Washington license plate D20165C. Local motels in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee were checked without success. The vehicle's information was entered into the local Flock camera database, which showed the truck had traveled west on Highway 2 from Wenatchee on May 30. An AMBER Alert request was initially denied by the Washington State Patrol, but an Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued the next day after police provided additional information. Over the weekend, Wenatchee Police worked with local law enforcement and the FBI to investigate possible locations in Chelan County. By June 2, the search had narrowed to an area between Icicle Road and Chumstick Road near Leavenworth. That same day, an arrest warrant was issued for Decker on three counts of first-degree custodial interference. At approximately 3:45 p.m. Monday, a Chelan County deputy located Decker's vehicle near the Rock Island Campground off Icicle Road. The truck was unoccupied. While searching the area, authorities found the bodies of the three missing girls. According to the criminal complaint, each was found with a plastic bag over their head, and their wrists were zip-tied. Decker was not located. Authorities say that the preliminary examination suggests the likely cause of death for the three children was affixation. A SWAT team and Washington State Patrol's Crime Scene Response Team responded to assist in processing the scene and searching for Decker. As of now, Decker remains at large. He is wanted for three counts of first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping.
