2025 Little League World Series bracket: Updated schedule, results from Williamsport

The Little League World Series enters Day 7 with four thrilling elimination games Tuesday. These will showcase some of the tournament's most competitive teams in a must-win situation to keep their LLWS dreams alive.
The team from Chihuahua, Mexico will face the team from Tokyo, Japan in the first game of the day. The winning team will advance to play against the winner of the match between Canada and Aruba, scheduled for later in the day. The losing teams will pack their bags and head home from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The first afternoon game will feature South Carolina facing off against Hawaii. The winner of this match will then play against the winner of the final game of the day, which pits South Dakota against Washington. Both winners will have a quick turnaround and will compete in the last game of the day on Wednesday.

Deiveson Figueiredo meets the streaking Montel Jackson at UFC Fight Night 261 in Brazil

Former UFC champ Deiveson Figueiredo will look to get back on track at UFC Fight Night 261, but he'll have to do it against one of the bantamweight division's rising contenders. UFC officials announced Tuesday that Figueiredo (24-5-1 MMA, 13-5-1 UFC) will clash with Montel Jackson (15-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) on the Oct. 11 card at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro (ESPN+). Former two-time flyweight champion Figueiredo, 37, is coming off consecutive losses to Cory Sandhagen and Petr Yan. He went 3-0 in his move up to 135 pounds prior to the defeats. Jackson, 33, meanwhile, is in the midst of a six-fight winning streak dating back to July 2020, with his most recent performance being a unanimous decision over Daniel Marcos at UFC on ESPN 67 in May, the same card which Figueiredo headlined against Sandhagen.
