Milestone Systems has announced Project Hafnia, a new initiative leveraging NVIDIA Cosmos Curator to democratize AI model training with high-quality, compliant video data. AI developers worldwide face challenges in finding accurate and reliable video data for training visual AI models. Project Hafnia aims to address this by enabling data generators to share and utilize their data while giving developers access to traceable, regulatory-compliant annotated video data.
By integrating NVIDIA's fine-tuning microservices, Milestone Systems is optimizing AI models for NVIDIA GPUs and video search and summarization (VSS) AI blueprints. The initiative includes a fine-tuned Vision Language Model (VLM), trained using NVIDIA microservices on a large volume of compliant transportation data, ensuring enhanced accuracy and performance. Deepu Talla, Vice President and General Manager of Embedded and Edge Computing at NVIDIA, highlighted how Milestone Systems is helping accelerate the next wave of powerful visual AI services.
Milestone Systems, a global leader in data-driven video technology and analytics, is aggregating compliant data through its global network of partners and customers. These organizations can leverage their data to develop smarter analytics, with the platform designed to streamline AI training and remove friction points. Powered by NVIDIA Cosmos Curator, Project Hafnia enables AI model training up to 30 times faster than current industry standards. CEO Thomas Jensen emphasized that artificial intelligence is the biggest game-changer of our time, and access to high-quality training data is crucial for innovation.
Project Hafnia offers two core services: Training as a Service (TaaS), which allows software developers to access high-quality video data for AI model training, and VLM as a Service, a cutting-edge solution for smart city transportation and intelligent traffic applications. Improved data annotation and access to high-quality datasets will enhance traffic management, manufacturing, airports, law enforcement, and business operations, enabling large-scale automation with unprecedented accuracy.
Leveraging NVIDIA's AI platform, Milestone Systems has also developed a market-leading traffic and transportation VLM, supporting general traffic assessments, driving condition evaluations, alert validation, and incident reporting. The platform is launching as a pilot program, with early access available for developers. Interested participants can sign up at https://hafnia.milestonesys.com/joinwaitlist. Initially focusing on traffic-related video data, the platform plans to expand its capabilities in the future. Milestone Systems owns and manages the platform, ensuring a secure, scalable, and future-ready AI training ecosystem.

Nvidia CEO says UK needs computing power to develop AI
Britain lacks the computing infrastructure to deliver the full potential of its leading artificial intelligence research base, Nvidia's CEO said on Monday, as the UK partners with the U.S. chipmaker for a new AI testing environment. Jensen Huang's comments came as the Financial Conduct Authority announced a new framework to allow financial firms to experiment with AI tools in a controlled environment from October, part of a government strategy to support innovation and economic growth. "The UK is the largest AI ecosystem in the world without its own infrastructure," Huang told an audience at London Tech Week alongside Prime Minister Keir Starmer, citing the country's top universities, startups and third-largest AI venture capital market. He praised Starmer's plan to boost Britain's domestic computing capabilities by 20 times and provide 1 billion pounds ($1.36 billion) of investment. "The ability to build these AI supercomputers here in the UK will naturally attract more startups, it will naturally enable all of the rich ecosystem of researchers here," he added, saying Britain was "an incredible place to invest". The FCA has partnered with Nvidia to provide access to advanced computing power and bespoke AI. The programme is intended to help firms in the early stages of exploring AI, offering access to technical expertise, better datasets and regulatory support, the FCA said. It is open to all financial services companies experimenting with AI. Finance minister Rachel Reeves has urged Britain's regulators to remove barriers to economic growth, describing it as an "absolute top priority" for the government. In April, she said she was pleased with how the FCA and the Prudential Regulation Authority, part of the Bank of England, were responding to her call to cut red tape. Starmer also said in a speech opening London Tech Week that Israeli fintech firm Liquidity Group would open its European headquarters in London, representing an investment of 1.5 billion pounds. Nvidia DLSS 4 boosts ‘Dune: Awakening' performance, adds path tracing to F1 25
'Dune: Awakening' features full support for NvidiaA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, along with DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and Nvidia Reflex, which cuts PC latency by up to 50%. Nvidia has announced that DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is delivering major performance boosts in Dune: Awakening, while EA SPORTS F1 25 launches with full support for Nvidia's advanced suite of DLSS technologies, including Ray Reconstruction and Multi Frame Generation. Funcom's highly anticipated Dune: Awakening invites players into a detailed version of Arrakis, inspired by Frank Herbert's novels and Denis Villeneuve's acclaimed films. The game blends survival mechanics with large-scale multiplayer elements, offering players a chance to rise from basic survival to power on the harshest planet in the universe. Available now in Advanced Access for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners, the game's general release is set for June 10. The title integrates Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and Reflex, which reduces system latency by up to 50%. Gamers using the Nvidia app can also upgrade DLSS Super Resolution to a new transformer-based AI model for enhanced image clarity. With DLSS 4 and Super Resolution enabled, frame rates in Dune: Awakening are increased by an average of 4.9 times at 4K resolution with maximum settings. Meanwhile, EA SPORTS F1 25, the official video game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship, has debuted on PC with cutting-edge path-traced effects, significantly raising the bar for visual realism. GeForce RTX GPU users can activate DLSS Ray Reconstruction to replace traditional denoisers with a single AI model, delivering a more stable and detailed ray tracing experience. GeForce RTX 50 Series players can take full advantage of DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation for performance gains, while RTX 40 Series users benefit from DLSS Frame Generation, and all RTX GPU owners can utilise DLSS Super Resolution. When all three DLSS technologies are combined, performance in F1 25 is multiplied by up to 7.9 times at 4K Ultra High settings with path tracing, even during demanding in-game conditions like a nighttime race on a wet Bahrain track with 20 competing cars.
