Captain Obvious is back for another adventure. This time he has the keys to go for a spin in his new car.
It's not uncommon for me to use Captain Obvious puzzles as semiautobiographical updates on my own life (like when he became a dad, or when he went to the beach while I was in Hawaii), but that isn't the case today. I'm still driving the same car that we've had since early 2020. Some phrases that the Captain couldn't use this week include THAT'S THE TICKET, TOOT YOUR OWN HORN, IT'S MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY, and PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL.

Rick Ross Trolls 50 Cent, Alludes To Daphne Joy's Sexual Exploits With Diddy: 'We Know You Hurt'

Rick Ross isn't backing down from 50 Cent's latest round of trolling—and he's firing back with some heat of his own. In a not-so-subtle jab, Ross referenced Daphne Joy's sexual relationship with Sean 'Diddy' Combs—claims that emerged during Combs' ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering investigation. On Wednesday (July 23), 50 Cent took to Instagram to throw shade at the Maybach Music boss by posting a photo of himself on a yacht and writing, 'Ya man was looking real saucy kissing that boy on that boat! That's not AI.' The accusation quickly made waves online, but Ross wasted no time clapping back during an Instagram Live session later that day. Dismissing 50's claims with a smirk, Rozay responded, 'You're so infatuated with my lifestyle. You see me out on a yacht with a Black, beautiful woman, and I hope you don't have anything against Black, beautiful women, Curtis. I mean, what are you insinuating here?' Ross then took things a step further, flipping the focus back on 50 Cent by bringing up Daphne Joy, the mother of his youngest child, Sire Jackson. 'We know you may have been hurt,' Ross said. 'You a hurt hoe, but get over it, man. Enjoy your glass of fine bubbles, and move on in life. Be happy.' At the time of this article's publishing, it appears 50 Cent's original post has been deleted from his Instagram account. Sources have since clarified that the woman Ross was seen with on the yacht is likely Jazzma Kendrick, a realtor and content creator who has been spotted with the rapper on multiple occasions over the past few months. Michael Bublé is taking a walk down memory lane... but he's doing it with a twist. The singer is slated to be a coach for the third time in a row on The Voice season 28, but he has other news to share before the fall television premiere. He revealed on Instagram his plans to re-release his hit 2005 album It's Time, as a way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its original debut. But that's not all. Not only is the album expected to drop on September 12, 2025, It's Time will also feature new songs, bonus tunes and live recordings Michael did back in the day. "Michael celebrates the 20th Anniversary of his multiplatinum album, It's Time with the release of a 25-track Deluxe Edition featuring two previously unreleased songs, newly remastered bonus tracks and live recordings," the caption read on July 25. "Out September 12th! Pre-order and pre-save now at the link in bio, where you can also listen to the new song 'Just Like You.'" Given how much The Voice fans enjoy Michael's music, seeing this piece of information had them over the moon with joy for him online. "'It's Time' is a timeless masterpiece ❤️🥹," one person wrote in the comments. "😮 Stop it!? 20th Anniversary!?!? 👏👏," another exclaimed. "Oh my Goodness, this is awesome. Congratulations Michael ❤️❤️🔥🔥," a different follower added. As some may remember, It's Time featured some of Michael's most famous musical hits he recorded. With tunes like "Feeling Good," "Try a Little Tenderness" and "Save the Last Dance for Me" featured, perhaps the most recognizable song on the album is "Home" (which OG Voice coach later recorded a cover of in 2008). We're super stoked about this, and we can't wait to see if there's even more music from Michael in our futures! Todd Chrisley Admits He Was Put Off By His Wife's Look Post-Release: 'I Started Thinking About Going Back'

Todd Chrisley has revealed how he reacted when he saw his wife, Julie Chrisley, for the first time after their release from prison for fraud and tax evasion charges. The reality TV star shared on a podcast that he "started thinking about going back" because her appearance turned him off. Todd and Julie Chrisley were originally sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison before being pardoned in May 2025 by President Donald Trump. Todd Chrisley Was Turned Off By His Wife's Appearance Wednesday's episode of "Chrisley Confessions" featured a shocking revelation from Todd about his reaction to seeing his wife's appearance for the first time after her release from prison. "I'm not going to lie. When I first saw you when I got out of that car, I started thinking about going back," the media personality candidly shared with his partner of nearly three decades. But rather than act on his thoughts, Todd revealed that he chose to "embrace" her appearance. He noted that he believed it was only a temporary "moment" before she reverts to her usual style. Todd Chisley Doubled Down On His Claims About Julie Chrisley's Looks Reacting to Todd's bold confession about being turned off by her, Julie replied, "Are you kidding me right now?" which suggested that she was shocked he felt that way at the time. However, this didn't stop Todd from doubling down on his stance. The TV star explained that he felt that way about her appearance because it was jarring for him to see her without her typical blonde locks. "It was a rough moment because I had never seen you dark in my life. Julie, 30 years, I've never seen you with dark hair," Todd said. Julie then replied, "Well, I know that, Todd, but I didn't have any choice." Julie Chrisley Says She's Looking Better Since Leaving Prison After her release from prison, a photo of Julie Chrisley circulated online, showing that her signature blonde locks had turned a natural brown with gray roots. Reflecting on the moment earlier in the podcast, the mother of three gushed about how she feels like she is back to being her best self, if not better. "Was there a horrible picture that came out of me? Yes, but the way I flip that is look at me now," she shared. "Now, people think I look even better because that horrible picture was out there, to begin with." Interestingly, Todd chose to reply with a lighthearted shade at his wife, saying, "I will say, you set the bar low, you had nowhere to go but up." Julie then fired back with, "Now that wasn't very nice," which prompted Todd to remark, "I'm just trying to be honest." The Chrisley Matriarch Admitted Her Jailhouse Hair Style Looked 'Crazy' Elsewhere in the conversation, Julie explained how she ended up with the look she had when she left prison. She revealed that during the early months of her sentence, she was able to maintain her highlights thanks to a fellow inmate with hairstyling experience. However, after that inmate was released, she had to rely on box dye for a while before eventually deciding to let her natural hair grow out. Looking back on it all, Julie admitted she wouldn't blame anyone who was shocked by her appearance, acknowledging that she did look "crazy." "I'll admit, I looked crazy," the mother of three confessed. "But now, see, people think when they see me, 'Oh, my God, you look so good!' and I'm thinking, yeah, because you saw that picture of me looking crazy." President Donald Trump Pardoned Todd And Julie Chrisley In May 2025 Todd and Julie Chrisley's prison stint stemmed from their conviction on federal fraud charges and tax evasion in 2022. The couple began serving their sentences in January 2023, with Todd placed at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, and Julie sent to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Lexington, Kentucky. Together, they were initially sentenced to 19 years, with Todd receiving 12 years and Julie receiving 7 years. However, in September of that year, the Federal Bureau of Prisons reduced Todd's sentence by two years and Julie's by 14 months. Their entire sentence was later completely vacated following a presidential pardon granted by Donald Trump in late May 2025. "Your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow," the president told the Chrisley children in a video call, which was recorded and shared by a White House rep. Trump added, "They were given a pretty harsh treatment, based on what I'm hearing, pretty harsh treatment." Solve the daily Crossword
