Why isn't Maura Higgins at the Love Island: A Decade of Love anniversary special? Star's absence explained
Over on ITV2, former contestants are set to look back at some of the show's biggest - and most dramatic - moments, while sharing their own hot takes on the scenes. Hey, Maya Jama did ask for big twists and more drama on the new series, which is also set to air this month, so it looks like she'll be getting what she asked for a little earlier.
Theatrics aside, exactly which ex Islanders can we expect to see this evening? And who is set to skip the big event? Because rumour has it, Maura Higgins, one of the show's biggest breakout stars, seems to have lost her invite. Which leads us to our next question... why?
First things first, we're not confirming that Maura is going to be a no-show. For all we know, she may surprise us and turn up at the hottest event of the year. After all, she does have a history of arriving late: the 34-year-old rocked up to last year's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! a few days after everyone else, remember.
The reason we're not sure if Maura is on the bill is that we've not seen her on the list of names expected to appear. Rather, the alumni we know are returning include Cara De La Hoyde-Massey and Nathan Massey, series seven champs Millie Court and Liam Reardon, series nine winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, and series eight finalists Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope. Also on the lineup are Gabby Allen, Montana Brown, Dani Dyer, Georgia Steel, Hannah Elizabeth, Whitney Adebayo, Anton Danyluk, and Catherine Agbaje.
From her Instagram posts, we also know that Maura is currently soaking up the sun in Mykonos - a long way from the Majorcan villa. She's also not posted anything to the grid about the special, which could also be a hint.
But if you want our advice, we suggest tuning in tonight to find out for yourself. We know we will.
Love Island: A Decade of Love will air on ITV2 at 9pm tonight.

Louis Tomlinson And Zara McDermott Hard-Launch Relationship On Instagram
Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott have finally confirmed they are an item. The One Direction star and former Love Island contestant were first linked in the press earlier this year, after the two were reportedly seen dining out together in Suffolk. Since then, Louis and Zara have repeatedly popped up in the comments of one another's Instagram posts, but have remained tight-lipped about the rumours that they're dating. That is, until Monday, when Zara posted a picture of herself and Louis on her Instagram page sharing a kiss in the sunshine, accompanied by just a heart emoji. Louis initially rose to fame as one-fifth of the chart-topping boy band One Direction, who first became known on The X Factor in 2010. In the years since, Louis has embarked on a number of different ventures, including a short-lived stint playing for his hometown's team, Doncaster Rovers; a solo music career (which has so far seen him release two albums, the most recent of which topped the UK albums chart in 2022); and even judging the TV talent show on which he first found fame. Zara, meanwhile, first appeared on the fourth season of Love Island in 2018 and, like Louis, subsequently competed on The X Factor, albeit the celebrity version. More recently, she's fronted a number of documentaries for the BBC, exploring topics like revenge porn, stalking and social media. In 2022, she competed on Strictly Come Dancing, where she was the fifth celebrity to be eliminated. Louis has previously dated model Eleanor Calder, stylist Briana Jungwirth (with whom he shares a nine-year-old son, Freddie) and former Disney actor Danielle Campbell. Zara was previously in a relationship with fellow reality star Sam Thompson for five years until they parted ways towards the end of 2024. Earlier this year, Louis and Sam , which the latter spoke about at the time on his podcast.

Tommy Fury doesn't want daughter on Love Island
Tommy Fury wouldn't want his daughter going on Love Island when she is older. The 26-year-old boxer found love with Molly-Mae Hague on the 2019 series of the show and they went on to have daughter Bambi, now two, and the reality star admitted he isn't keen for his little girl to follow in his footsteps in either TV or sport. Asked how he'd feel if Bambi went on Love Island, he told the Telegraph magazine: "Oh, that's a good question. I don't even want to think about that... 'I'd do my f***ing best [to stop her]! I don't know. I don't know! I'll support her through anything.' And on the idea of her boxing, he said: 'No. She's too pretty to be a boxer. I'm going to take the black eyes and the broken ribs and the broken hands, so she doesn't have to.' Tommy and Molly-Mae split in August 2024 but later reunited and he's keen to have a large family. He said: 'I'd love to give Bambi a sibling.' Asked how many kids he wants, he said: "Forty. 'Me and Molly have had private conversations. I don't think she's quite on track for 40... 'Obviously, I'm not the one giving birth. But all I ever wanted to do from when I was a young boy, I just wanted to have a family and do my boxing and look after them. My family is everything. I don't care what happens in my life. I don't care if boxing goes. Because if it were to happen again, I've got my family.' Tommy admitted it was love at first sight for him when Molly-Mae entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell. He said: "As soon as I saw her, it was game over. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Inside and out. She is the best thing that's ever happened to me. 'She probably thought, 'Who is this guy? What is he doing near me?' I think if I was going on a date with myself, I'd be a bit like that.' Tommy only signed up for the show because he wanted a free holiday. He admitted of his motivation: "My fight had got cancelled. I could do with a holiday. I haven't got money to go. Don't forget — I'm not Bill Gates's son. I don't come from millions of pounds.'
