Paramount Plus with Showtime is dead — meet Paramount Plus Premium

The Showtime brand might finally be dead.
Last year, Paramount killed the Showtime standalone streaming service, folding it into the Paramount Plus streaming service as Paramount Plus with Showtime. Now, we've learned that Paramount is changing that branding again.
Starting today (Monday, June 23) at 12 p.m. ET, Paramount is rebranding the Paramount Plus with Showtime streaming service as Paramount Plus Premium.
On the one hand, this isn't necessarily a big deal. The Showtime brand has largely been dead anyway, with only a few shows still being branded with the badge of Paramount's premium cable network.
On the other hand, it could signal the end of the Showtime brand as a whole ahead of Paramount's tentative merger with Skydance, which is currently being held up by the Trump administration in the U.S.
Either way, it will bring everything under the Paramount Plus brand when it comes to Paramount's streaming services. What remains to be seen is if there will be any changes to what you get for your monthly subscription fee.
Provided only the name changes, here's what you get with Paramount Plus Premium, formerly known as Paramount Plus with Showtime:
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
That will set you back $12.99 a month, compared to just $7.99 a month for Paramount Plus Essential. Though, as you can see, you do get several exclusive features for that additional $5 a month.

F-Bombs Away President Trump dropped the F-bomb on live television on Tuesday, while talking to reporters in front of the White House about Israel and Iran violating their previously announced cease-fire. 'We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the [expletive] they're doing,' he said. Seth Meyers said that even though he has 'zero standards of expectations for Trump, it's still surprising to see the president drop an F-bomb on the White House grounds.' 'Wow, based on that language and that level of analysis, I'm surprised that they didn't give him the local news chyron.' — SETH MEYERS 'Remember when Biden whispered it to Obama and everyone on the right lost their [expletive] minds?' — SETH MEYERS 'Nothing says 'Everyone remain calm' like dropping an F-bomb on live TV.' — JIMMY FALLON 'Meanwhile, C-SPAN was like, 'It's OK. Nobody's watching anyway.'' — JIMMY FALLON The Punchiest Punchlines (Fake News Edition) 'Last night, President Trump announced that Israel and Iran agreed to a total cease-fire and declared that the war has ended. And for about 59 minutes, he was right.' — JIMMY FALLON 'President Trump announced yesterday in a post on Truth Social that Israel and Iran have agreed to a cease-fire and added, 'CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!' Congratulations to everyone? Are you brokering a cease-fire or hosting the Tonys? 'Kimmel' Guest Host Diego Luna Trolls Trump By Turning His Own F-Bomb Against Him

'Jimmy Kimmel Live' guest host Diego Luna on Tuesday said his criticism of President Donald Trump's immigration policies earlier this week was covered widely by the media ― including Fox News. 'If Fox News is talking about it, I'm probably on Donald Trump's radar now,' the 'Andor' star said. So the Mexican-born actor had his luggage packed and on the stage in case he needed to make a quick departure, and had a 'lawyer' listening in to warn him if he went too far with his Trump jokes. He tested that setup with a crack about first lady Melania Trump. 'Why does Donald Trump want to screw immigrants?' he asked the studio audience, then answered: 'Because the one he married won't screw him!' The audience erupted as the 'lawyer' sternly shook her head. Luna sarcastically referred to Trump as a 'political genius,' then rolled footage of the president complaining that Israel and Iran 'don't know what the fuck they're doing' amid reports of ceasefire violations. 'That's what many people say about him, right?' Luna snarked. 'He doesn't know what the fuck he's doing!' The on-set 'lawyer' didn't like that joke either. Luna is the first in a series of guest hosts as Kimmel takes the summer off. See his full monologue below:

Trump posts video with ‘Bomb Iran' song amid ceasefire

President Trump posted a new video on Truth Social featuring a compilation of videos of B-2 stealth fighter jets dropping bombs along with the 1980 song 'Bomb Iran' by Vince Vance & the Valiants. The song, a parody of the 1961 song 'Barbara Ann' by the Regents, plays over a video of various B-2 stealth fighter jets, which were used to drop 14 GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bombs, or 'bunker busters,' in Iran. The jets were specifically used on the Fordow Fuel Enrichment plant and the Natanz Enrichment Complex, key nuclear sites in Iran. The U.S. also hit Iran's Isfahan nuclear site. The song continues with the lyrics, 'Went to a mosque, gonna throw some rocks, tell the Ayatollah, 'Gonna put you in a box!' Bomb Iran.' The Hill has reached out to the White House for comment. Trump posted the video on Truth Social Tuesday night amid rising tensions between Iran, Israel and the U.S. after U.S. military strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities this past weekend. The video is just the latest post from the president on the rising conflict in the Middle East, even singling out Israel in a rare move, advising them against dropping more bombs in a Truth Social post. Around the same time, Trump came down on the Iranians and Israelis earlier in the day at the White House, voicing his displeasure at continued fighting between the two adversaries. 'We basically — we have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f‑‑‑ they're doing,' Trump told reporters at the White House earlier Tuesday. While Trump hailed the strikes against the nuclear facilities as a success, an early intelligence assessment reportedly found that Tehran's nuclear program was set back by only months.
