Survivor's Brandon Hantz Arrested for Alleged Gang Activities
Survivor fans will remember Brandon from his appearances on Survivor: South Pacific and Survivor: Caramoan. He's also the nephew of notorious Survivor villain Russell Hantz. With these latest allegations, Brandon is taking the term 'villain' to a whole different level.
According to TMZ, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas hit Brandon and 13 others with a 22-count indictment. Allegedly, they're all a part of some motorcycle gang called the Bandidos. They've been roaming around Texas wreaking havoc.
In the indictment, the Bandidos were said to have an intense rivalry with another gang called B*EAST. This isn't the fun type of beef between tribes like you'd see on Survivor. Supposedly, these gangs were ordered to assault each other on sight. In some cases, they were told to murder members of the rival gang when they crossed them.
Although some of the Bandidos have been hit with murder and assault allegations, Brandon is facing relatively lesser charges. He has one charge of racketeering conspiracy and another for arson. It's not quite murder, but each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.
TMZ spoke with a federal law enforcement source, who said that Brandon's home was also raided by the FBI amid the indictment. However, his family claims that Brandon left the gang last year. Stay tuned to see what a judge has to say about that.
Survivor is streaming on Paramount+.

Gary Busey Pleads Guilty to Groping Woman's Behind
Gary Busey admitted he purposely groped a woman's buttocks while posing with fans at a New Jersey horror convention in 2022, pleading guilty to fourth-degree criminal sexual contact on Thursday. The 81-year-old actor entered the plea during a virtual hearing, admitting he touched the woman for his own gratification. 'You understand now, and you knew then that that was not appropriate. It was wrong, correct,' a prosecutor asked Busey. 'Yes, very much,' he responded. More from Rolling Stone Sean Combs' Allies Have Upped Pardon Talks. His Survivors Want to Shut Them Down Sean Combs Asks Judge to Ditch His Conviction or Retry Prostitution Counts Alec Baldwin's Lawsuit Against New Mexico Prosecutors Dismissed The incident occurred at the semi-annual Monster-Mania Con in Camden, New Jersey in August 2022. While posing with fans Busey was accused of groping several women, who filed reports with local police. The actor was charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree; one count of attempting criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, and one disorderly conduct count of harassment. Under the plea agreement, prosecutors will drop the remaining charges, according to CourtTV. Busey faces between one to five years of probation and fines, and has agreed not to contact the woman. His sentencing is set for Sept. 18. Throughout the hearing, a disheveled Busey seemed distracted, seemingly having problems with his hearing aid. At one point, he took a swing from a soda can, which earned him a sharp rebuke from the judge. Busey's guilty plea comes after he originally claimed the women had made the entire thing up. 'None of that happened,' he told TMZ in 2022. 'There were a partner, and a camera lady, and me and two girls. It took less than 10 seconds, and then they left. Then, they made up this story that I assaulted them sexually — but I did not.' Despite his admission to the unwanted touching, Busey's attorney still seemed to object to referring to the women as victims. 'I disagree with, most respectfully, for identifying the individuals and counts two through five as victims,' the attorney said. 'Since those cases are being dismissed — it's just a technical matter — I don't think they remain victims if they're being dismissed.' Rolling Stone has reached out to Busey's attorney for further comment. Cleaner who survived Midtown office shooting describes seeing the gunman, hiding in closet for hours
A woman who survived the Midtown office building shooting earlier this week in New York City says she came face to face with the gunman, then hid in a closet for hours in fear. Sebije Nelovic made it out alive Monday, but four others in the building were killed, including an NYPD officer who was working security in the lobby. Another security officer was also killed, along with two women who worked for companies on the floors above. Nelovic released a statement through her union, saying she has worked as a cleaner at 345 Park Ave. for the past 27 years and knows everyone in the building. The 65-year-old woman from Queens said she started her shift around 4:30 p.m. Monday and was collecting garbage on the 33rd floor when the gunman opened fire. "I heard something that sounded like firecrackers. I thought it was the engineers – they make a lot of noise sometimes. But usually they are talking, and the noise continued," she said. "So I stepped out of the office and around the corner. I could see the glass door in front of the reception desk at the office on the 33rd floor. Suddenly, the glass door was shaking. It started falling down – boom." Nelovic said that's when the gunman "came in the middle of the door, and pointed his gun at me." "He started shooting around me. I put my hands up and said, 'I'm a cleaning lady. I'm a cleaning lady.' But I realized – he comes with a machine gun. He's not going to know who I am. He's going to shoot, no matter what," she said. Nelovic said she ran down a hallway, found a closet, went inside and locked the door. "I started praying. I heard shouting down the hallway. I sat in there for 5 minutes, or maybe 10, when I heard him walking down the hallway. He started shooting. He shot the door to the closet, and I was so scared. But I was okay. I heard him walk down the hallway, and then I remembered Julia," she said. Nelovic said Julia Hyman, who was gunned down on the same floor of the building, always worked late until about 8 or 8:30 p.m. "I knew she was at her desk, and I thought, God, help her. The noises went away. I kept praying," she said. "Then my supervisor started calling and texting me. I told him I was in a closet, and he told me to stay there. I got scared about making noise, so I turned my phone off." Nelovic said she prayed in the closet for 2 or 3 hours before the police finally came. She said she didn't want to worry her family, so she asked police to drive her home. "When I got home, my son had seen the news – and he was scared. I told him, thanks to God, I'm okay," she said. "I kept watching the TV. I had to see what happened, and why." Nelovic said that's how she found out Hyman was killed. "She was so nice," she said. "Every day, I get more stressed and shaken. A woman is dead on my floor – and it could have been me. "I used to get scared to go home on the train at night. My shift ends at midnight. But going to work – I wasn't scared. I was safe there, and I was happy – for 27 years." Hyman was the first victim to be laid to rest Wednesday, followed by Officer Islam and Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner on Thursday. Security officer Aland Etienne was also killed in the attack. The shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
