Peterborough project aims to empower youngsters through nature
Luke Payn, manager of Westraven Community Cafe and Garden, called it an "important project", adding that it would help young people with their personal development.Darren Starkey from Peterborough-based Froglife, said the project could "create several new habitats that will help amphibians and other wildlife to thrive."The first session took place at a school last week, with further classes planned at the YMCA and Queen Katharine Academy in Walton.

Solar farm could supply 'a quarter of Peterborough's homes'
Plans for a solar farm that would have the capacity to power a quarter of the homes in Peterborough have been TH Powertek wants to install 100,000 solar panels across 80 hectares (about 200 acres) at Malice Farm, near Thorney, near approved, the solar farm would be in place for 40 years.
