Boy, 14, ‘crushed to death by heavy machinery' only ever wanted to be a farmer, heartbroken father says
A teenage boy crushed to death by heavy machinery on a farm harboured dreams of becoming a farmer when he was older, his devastated family said.
Harry Moss, 14, was fatally injured when he became trapped in an agricultural accident in Malvern, Worcestershire on Thursday just a month before his 15th birthday.
Another man was also injured and taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Harry's father, Lewis Moss, 39, said it was not yet clear how his son died or what job he was doing at Hillview farm in Malvern.
In a tribute to MailOnline, he said: 'All Harry ever wanted to be was a farmer. He loved everything about the countryside and everything about farming,' he said.
'At a very early age he set his sights on being a farmer when he left school.
'He was such a lovely lad. He was polite, hard-working and he was never any trouble to me.
'I never had a single worry about him. He would have been 15 in a month and I cannot believe he has gone. He was my world.'
He added: 'At the moment all the police have told me is that they are investigating his death because it is unclear how he died. They say they will look at all the circumstances. For now, all they have told me is that Harry's death is unexplained.'
The keen angler was the oldest of five with three younger brothers and a sister.
His mother Hollie McMurray posted a video on social media of Harry playing around with friends dressed as a police officer at school.
She said: 'My firstborn forever in my heart. Harry you did me so proud but boy you were 14 and working too hard! Farmer forever, I love you so much.'
Family friend Maggie Murrihy launched a GoFundMe page to help cover the cost of his funeral.
She wrote: 'As everyone is aware Harry passed away under tragic circumstances. Harry Moss was the most amazing teenager who had his whole life ahead of him.
'It was tragically taken at just the young age of 14, him being the eldest sibling of the family.
'He was an amazing big brother and son and lived his life like a little homing pigeon - if he left home it was either to do what he loved, farming or fishing.
'No parent should have to go through this unimaginable pain or receive this kind of news, and I know nothing can help with the pain. I'm hoping this will ease any financial burdens regarding his passing and funeral costs.
'Harry Moss was the best and will be given the best send off. Let's as a community make this happen!'
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed of the tragic death, and an investigation has been launched alongside West Mercia Police.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: 'We were called to an incident at an address off Blackmore Park Road in Malvern, Worcestershire at 8.50am.
'We sent two ambulances, three paramedic officers, a BASICS emergency doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Strensham to the scene.
'On arrival, crews found a teenage boy in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support.
'Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.
'A man was also treated by crews for serious injuries and conveyed under emergency driving conditions to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.'
A spokesperson for the HSE added: 'We have visited the site and are working with West Mercia Police with their investigation.'

Mr Collyer and his partner Ms Stocker, both from East Sussex, were stopped on arrival in Bali in February and were later allegedly found to be in possession of a total of 17 packages of cocaine, with a market value of £296,000. Jon's father Julian said he was in 'deep shock' for his son, with whom he had only been in contact once in the last three weeks. He told MailOnline: 'I'm very, very worried as any father or parent would be.' An anonymous relative of Ms Stocker said the mother had been taken advantage of and that she 'couldn't sleep at night' thinking about what might happen to her. Dean, a friend of Jon's said he was unaware the couple had travelled to Indonesia and said the situation was 'an absolute mess'. He added he was 'horrified' to learn they had both been arrested and charged with smuggling narcotics. Several high profile foreign drug smugglers have been allowed to return home from Indonesia in recent months. A 13-year-old schoolboy was allegedly gang raped by a gang of classmates during a sports school trip - the victim has reportedly already endured months of bullying and was blackmailed A schoolboy was allegedly gang raped by five of his classmates, when he was just 13 years old, during a school sports trip to Malaga, before he was left in a catatonic state. The young victim, now 16, was then blackmailed and forced to keep the horrific abuse a secret as he was terrified the shameless bullies would go after his younger sibling. The victim had already been bullied at school by a cruel gang, three of them had been under 14, mocked about his acne and glasses and excluded from events. This cruelty spiralled into an alleged disgusting act while on a school sports trip to Malaga, Spain. The barbarous gang allegedly ambushed the then 13-year-old, during their trip in March 2022, in the hallway of a hotel before they forced him into a bathroom. They supposedly locked the victim in the bathroom while some members of the horror group allegedly raped him while others cheered the disgusting act on. Some of the classmates, from the school in Valencia, Spain, said "let him suffer, let him suffer, I want to see him suffer", according to a reconstruction of the events. The then 13-year-old was reportedly blackmailed into staying silent about the traumatic event, as the victim believed they would target his younger brother. He even reportedly endured 300 phone calls from one of the gang members after the supposed attack and more threats sent through social media. This victim endured two more months of daily humiliation before he collapsed in his mother's arms and fell into a catatonic state. The horror attack and trauma he endured allegedly led to the boy experiencing amnesia, which he has used a psychologist to help work through this with. The boy was taken to hospital and later admitted three more times over 35 days. The alarm was raised by the psychologist who reported the alleged attack and abuse to the school and the police. The victim recalled the names of the alleged attackers during his first appointment with the psychologist but he was not able to remember all of the details. One person has been charged in Valencia's Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, two years after the alleged gang rape attack, and they could face 15 months behind bars if found guilty. Other alleged members of this group were either too young to be criminally charged or they have not proven to be involved yet. A teacher at the school, according to the MailOnline, said: "Everyone at school knows a student was raped. The principal banned trips and overnight activities outside of Valencia after the complaint, ten children in the same grade left the school, and the members of the parent-teacher association resigned." The victim, now 16, was left with "chronic post-traumatic stress disorder with severe episodes of dissociative amnesia", according to local Spanish newspapers.

Daughter's tribute to Dundee mum who suddenly died in front of family on Perthshire holiday
A Dundee woman has paid tribute to her 'superwoman' mum after she suddenly died on a family holiday. Louise Beattie tragically passed away in front of her two youngest kids and partner Steven Milne at Tummel Valley Holiday Park, in Perthshire, on Tuesday afternoon. The 45-year-old leaves behind three children: Euan Shaw, 13, Eliana Shaw, 14 and 24-year-old Emily Mather. The family was celebrating Steven's upcoming birthday at the Parkdean resort near Pitlochry when the tragedy unfolded. It is understood that Louise had a seizure in the pool at the holiday park. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and the exact cause of her death is unknown. Police say there are no suspicious circumstances. Emily, who is from Dundee but now lives in Manchester, told The Courier: 'She was always caring and had so much time for those around her. 'My mum was always a giver, and never a taker, and would go out of her way for anyone. 'Many people will remember my mum as the 'stamp lady' outside Deja Vu nightclub. 'She was a real superwoman of a mum, she had a heart of gold and was some character.' Former Baldragon Academy pupil Emily previously told of how pole fishing saved her life after she lost her gran in 2021. She added: 'We're not sure what caused her death yet, but it was a medical incident. 'A biopsy will take place at the beginning of next week. 'It's been a difficult few days, but I just want to make sure I'm there for the kids. We're all pulling together.' Family friend Hollie has set up a GoFundMe page to help the family give Louise the 'send-off she deserves'. It's already raised thousands of pounds. Speaking to The Courier, Hollie said: 'Louise laughed her way through life, everything was funny to her and she was a very good friend to have. 'She was always the first person at your door when something was up. 'It's been a really challenging time for the family, and the fundraiser will help them all out. 'She was the best mum and she deserves the best send-off ever, for the kids too. 'Sleep tight Louise, we will miss you forever.' Emily added: 'Every donation means a lot and is very much appreciated.' A spokesperson for Tummel Valley Holiday Park said: 'Our thoughts are with the deceased, and we would like to send our deepest sympathies and condolences to their family and friends during this difficult time.' A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 3.40pm on Tuesday we were called to Main Road, Tummel Bridge, Pitlochry, following a report of concern for a woman. 'Emergency services attended and the 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. 'There are no suspicious circumstances and her family are aware. 'A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.' A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: 'We received a call at 3:30pm on Tuesday to attend an incident at Tummel Bridge, Pitlochry. 'We dispatched one ambulance, a paramedic response unit (PRU), a BASICS Scotland doctor and an air ambulance to the scene.'
